Christian Bale as Solid Snake in a MGS Movie....?

i keep hearing rumors on this...what are your thoughts...??

I made a thread a while back with him and a few other candidates. All thats confirmed is Bale is in the running for the part, Sony has their eyes on James Marsden, and Hideo Kojima wants Viggo Mortenson.

Personally I'd prefer Eric Bana.

Zac Efron ehhh I see him more of a Johnny type but Robert Pattinson is a pretty good choice. The guy is a decent actor and has that pretty boy look.

There's not even a screenplay finished that Sony wants to put into production yet for a movie based on the first game. You'll still have at least a good 4 or so years before you can start worrying about who's playing Raiden. That is if the first movie is successful enough to warrant a sequel.
