The new villain cannot use a killer fortress properly and /m/ is not aware of these reviews. Maybe it will stay that way but regardless this is part 12!

Episode 45:

In the early evening EAGLE agents guard an oil refinery when Sword Shark Mask cuts an underwater pipe and two divers after. EAGLE sends a boat after him only for the mask monster the kill them vampire style. Sword Shark Mask soon sneaks into the refinery to plant a time bomb. After it goes off (a day later) Magman boasts about it to Fuhrer. Cut to Ki in clown make up advertising some street festival and Taro handing out fliers. I should note now this is when the remodeled snack bar first shows up, they use this place a lot in Super Tokusatsu Wars 2001. After Yoko tells Ki about what happened, Gonpachi does the same with the others. After Ki arrives they head out on motorcycle to investigate. Momo soon encounters a shark tooth on the shore with Sword Shark Mask stalking her before attacking. Apparently if you chew Momo's heart bombs they do not explode as the battle shows. She also fires a dart pistol at him with said dart going into his head. Momo is soon tossed, giving the mask monster time to run into the refinery and place another time bomb (no idea if this is the same refinery from earlier or not). Aka and Midori attack him with the latter's weapon getting munched on. Aka barely keeps Sword Shark Mask at bay while Midori tries to defuse the bomb with Momo soon joining in. Oh hey, new eyecatch!

The mask monster bites into a pipe before Ao and Ki show up only for him to high tail it into the water. Yoko managed to track him thanks to that dart he was shot with. The Varidreen takes off (in a long sequence) with the Varitank being parachuted off containing Aka, Momo, and Midori. Zolders on the Navarone pick up the Varitank underwater and Magman commands to rise the fortress to fire at it. The Varitank uses a parascope once at the bottom and Ao tries to distract the Navarone. Sword Shark Mask keeps munching on pipes while the Varitank gets a leak. After the Navarone retreats (odd because I don't think it was hit), the Varitank launches a pair of torpedoes to blow the mask monster onto dry land. Once refinery sneak in later the Gorengers do their intros with zolders coming out of nowhere (and editing changing from refinery to rocky beach). Ki even does another xylophone beat down. Sword Saw Mask gets ganged up on and tossed before the Gorenger Hurricane initiates, blowing the mask monster up once he bites it. Apparently Fuhrer was not amused as he was asleep during the event. Next episode shows Locomotive Mask charging.

Sword Shark Mask: Can swim at low depths for long periods of time and bite through steel and is equipped with a head hack saw, a zanbatou, mines from the tongue, and a spare set of jaws called Atomic Crusher

Episode 46:

Momo and Midori drive the Green Machine when Locomotive Mask jogs out of a tunnel so they follow him. They try to stop him via fighting, but one coal injection in his head has him yell "super senkaieh" or something, allowing one charge from him to flip them over fifty feet into the air. After another beat down Locomotive Mask jogs through the city. The Gorengers worry back at the base for a while and Ki gets jealous. Locomotive Mask jogs into the snack bar demanding water and I think coffee, which Yoko pours into a pipe on his side. Ki catches up to Locomotive Mask and challenges him to a jogging match. One coal insertion later Locomotive Mask keeps up with a train. Once Ki finds out he is a mask monster he fights him (only to lose easily). Momo uses two of her heart bombs to make a butterfly probe (no idea how that works) and a pair of zolders pick up on it.

The zolders stop caring about the probe as it flies around. After sneaking into a base (same set as Destron bases in Kamen Rider V3? it seems like it) Magman removes a lock on the mask monster's ankle. Fuhrer is shown a map of the area he jogged through. Magman soon destroys the probe via throwing knife. The Varidreen soon launches with Aka and Ao and Magman finds out. Condors launch from the Navarone although one assault later they stop and Aka takes off in the Varitank to burrow underground. Once the Navarone is damaged by Varidreen it flies off. The other rangers set up a blockade for Locomotive Mask only to fail thanks to body retraction powers.... Yeah. Aka uses the Varitank to stalemate his momentum, eventually doing so and the rangers do their intros complete with random zolder slaughter. The Gorenger Hurricane is attemped but the mask monster catches the ball. Ki taunts him into a chase only for it to be used again, this time with success. Next episode shows Magman stealing the Varitank and Bird Talon Mask jumping.

Locomotive Mask: Can move at high speeds especially with coal power and retract his body into his head and it equipped with a claw arm

Episode 47:

A school bus stops at a road block when Bird Talon Mask and his zolders hijack it. The Varidreen heads out to stop them. The bus is guarded in a gorge (with a TANK) and the Gorengers hesitate. Condors fly in with Bird Talon Mask leading the group. After one is shot down the Varidreen is trapped in a net with zolders cheering. However, the Varidreen uses propellers to break free and the mask monster attacks them. A time bomb is set on the bus with the rangers catching on and the Varitank being sent out with everyone but Ao inside. One burrow session later the rangers pop out and fight. Momo throws the bomb as it explodes, saving everyone. Fuhrer is disappointed at Bird Talon Mask and even raises his voice at him. Some time later the Navarone rises with the ranger transporting Gonpachi and Yoko complete with a zolder ambush. Yoko runs out of the car with a briefcase and a condor steals said car while Gonpachi is inside. The Navarone fires at the Gorengers and leaves a ransom note (somehow) that Aka crumples up in rage.

At the base the rangers talk about a rescue plan. The monitor shows Magman and Gonpachi in what I think is an ice block and send a cassette tape which they soon play. I assume it means "attack and the commander gets it" (I WISH I COULD UNDERSTAND JAPANESE DANG IT!). Taro shows Ki a picture book about the Trojan Horse and you can see the rest of the plot from here. Cut to Magman telling Fuhrer the rangers came, which must be serious since they zoom up on Fuhrer's face to his eyes. The Varidreen lands and the rangers come out via Varitank. Bird Talon Mask and his squad do an exchange with a zolder driving the Varitank off. Wow, I honestly thought they'd be gunned down, guess Magman is truthful. Bird Talon Mask steals the Varidreen unexpectedly and Fuhrer seems POed.Just when Magman is about to gun them down (I should have known), Yoko uses the Varitank to gun the zolders down and fighting ensues. Ao ejects the mask monster out and the Varidreen forces the Navarone to retreat. During the grunt assault the rangers do their intros. Momo accidentally hits Ki with an earring bomb during the fight, a first. During the fight with Bird Talon Mask Ki plays charades with his weapon with hand displays (is it not a spear?) before the Gorenger Hurricane is used to turn into a tiny blue bird before exploding. Next episode shows Camera Mask causing mayhem at some amusement park called Dreamland in plain English.

Bird Talon Mask: Can jump high and is equipped with a sickle talon staff

Episode 48:

Zolders lead by Camera Mask hijack a truck from EAGLE. Aka, Momo, and Midori head out to the amusement part Dreamland which is functioning yet abandoned thanks to the mask monster. Aka soon manages to re-steal the hijacked truck, but it is stuck. Camera Mask and his goons show up and wow do the zolders barely even try. The Navarone shows up to cause havoc, forcing the rangers to retreat. They find a street band playing before discussing the next course of action and going on some rides at Dreamland because.... They can. Camera Mask follows them accordingly with zolders in mascot outfits. I'd give them flak for being cannon fodder, but it must have been hot in those suits. Camera Mask holds a little girl hostage, forcing Momo and Midori to surrender. Cut to Ki at the snack bar eating before Ao tells him to move. They drive an EAGLE truck with trooper attire and meet with a zolder ambush. They give the truck up with Aka sneaking on top. Interesting to note that zolders have human faces underneath. Anyway, Aka steals the truck back in zolder disguise only for Camera Mask to sick his goons.

Aka escapes and finds Momo and Midori tied to a submarine. Camera Mask tries lighting the river aflame with gas but it does not work. The child hostage bit is used again (they did not notice?) as they take her away via helicopter. That is until the pilots are revealed to be Ao and Ki. After the zolder beat down Camera Mask calls the Navarone and goes aboard with Magman disappointed. The rangers search for a time bomb (what a shocker), soon finding it in a basement with the door on a flag stand. Ao calls for the Varidreen with Magman and Camera Mask noticing before having to retreat the Navarone. Camera Mask and his squad fight the Gorengers with intros and beat ups (and wow can they jump FAR, like a full kilometer at least!) Ki actually gets tossed by a group of zolders, wow. Anyway, Midori gets beaten up by the mask monster before the others surround him and Aka takes his flash unit to use against him. The Gorenger Hurricane is used, with zolders acting very competently, and Camera Mask blows up once the ball is in his face. Next episode shows a Frankenstein-mummy hybrid and Horn Bone Mask attacking.

Camera Mask: Can emit explosions from his solar powered flash unit and take x-ray photographs and is equipped with a zoom lens

The planet will be the dawn of apes as shown in that new trailer! That and we have now entered part 13!

Episode 49:

This episode starts off like it is in early 20th century France. Some couple (Momo and Midori) calls Gonpachi at the base about.... Something. Ao mentions Frankenstein and Aka says robot with both Yoko and Magman having plans for a humanoid robot. Magman tells Fuhrer about it being in a fake EAGLE base or something and a barrier is mentioned. Not knowing Japanese makes it hard to understand at times. Cut to a jet liner landing only to cut to Aka, Ao, and Ki on their bikes riding only to be ambushed by zolders and Horn Bone Mask. During the fight one zolder films the fight. Horn Bone Mask soon retreats after his head removal power is revealed. Momo and Midori leave the airport into a taxi where a zolder radios it in. The mask monster stops the taxi with the driver also being a zolder. Both are sent down a trap door and wake up in the fake base Magman made. The zolder footage from earlier is used to fool them into thinking Horn Bone Mask is dead (it works). After Horn Bone Mask, in disguise, manages to convince them, Magman believes he is worried. Shortly after the two of them construct the Frankenstein robot. For anyone that thought putting the Frankenstein Monster in Power Rangers was stupid please direct them to this, thank you. Anyway, one snack bar discussion later the Varidreen takes off.

Aka and Ki use their bikes while Ao uses the Varidreen. Condors show up only to get gunned down. Aka beats up some zolders during recon and soon encounters the mask monster. Aka mentions the barrier mentioned earlier and survives a dynamite explosion (point blank). Meanwhile on Mythbusters, Momo and Midori are interrupted to be informed of the Navarone (falsely of course) to encourage them to hurry. Aka and Ki join up in the Varidreen to map out locations. Momo notices eyes in the room's painting, realizing they were tricked by the Black Cross Army. Magman gets POed until an earthquake happens. Upon the disguised zolders opening the door they find the Frankenstein Monster built with Midori "dying" and Momo saying she has suspicions. Outside the monster and Momo run with Horn Bone Mask giving chase. Shortly after the rangers arrive and the monster was Midori in a mask.... Where did they get that? Intros can grunt massacre occur. Once Horn Bone Mask has his head on backward (literally), the Gorenger Hurricane is used to destroy him complete with turning into a rainbow skull. Next episode shows Iron Trap Mask catching Ao's arrows.

Horn Bone Mask: Can remove his head and disguise himself as a human and is equipped with a rib staff

Episode 50:

Condors drop some bombs on unsuspecting EAGLE agents. The only survivor is caught in a bear trap that happens to be Iron Trap Mask who then stabs him to death. He tells the condors to stop bombing him with the rangers listening in via cassette tape. Ao suggests going out, but everyone else sees a trap. Meanwhile, some guy with a weird mustache cells pictures ona street corner saying the Varidreen allowed people to die. Ao walks up and wants answers with the vendor convincing the crowd to shame him as he walks off. After getting in the car it is revealed to be Iron Trap Mask. Shortly after the mask monster ambushes Ao with a squad of zolders (do these guys burrow? that would explain a lot). After the grunts are disposed of, Iron Trap Mask munches on his arrows and says he is trying to frame the Varidreen. The Navarone shows up with a replica Varidreen before going under. Back at base Gonpachi reveals an unsettling truth.... and because I don't understand much Japanese I do not know what it is, but Ao takes it hard (although Aka tries to cheer him up). Cut to Iron Trap Mask with a butterfly collection doing some spell that turns a glass container of them into a Varidreen model.

Magman and the mask monster beat up the replica for some reason before cutting to a zolder spying on Ao although Yoko catches on. Ao and Momo soon meet some scientist and Midori reveals he is in the ceiling. A harpoon on a rope is used to snag and drag the scientist out although Ao holds his own in the tug of war. After failing to cut it with a knife Momo and Midori help with the Varitank stopping them with Aka and Yoko inside. A few zolders try to home invade, but Home Alone traps stall them until they use smoke bombs. Once the scientist is snagged Iron Trap Mask talks to him and soon he reveals he was Ki in disguise. Not going to lie, I could not tell it was him at first. Ki has a few swords at his neck and as the Varitank comes he is chained near some bear traps. They then re-tie him up with rope and a cleave gag (which he can remove himself but does not) and the trap is foiled by the rangers. Honestly, when to bear traps stop TANKS? I mean if they were on foot it would make sense- Not important. Ki is saved via tank claw, Iron Trap Mask uses his own tank and fails as the Gorengers do their intros and zolder slaying occurs. Midori gained one high knockout count in the battle. Ao blinds Iron Trap Mask with an arrow, soon getting trapped in a bear trap himself. After getting free the Gorenger Hurricane is used, turning into a butterfly the mask monster chases a little, and lands on his head to explode. Next episode shows Gunman Mask acting like a cowboy.

Iron Trap Mask: Can turn into a bear trap, disguise himself as a human, and summon bear traps and is equipped with a bear trap for his face and a machete

Episode 51:

Gunman Mask shoots beer bottles with his revolver before moving on horseback. Thanks to his shooting skills and zolder squad he stops an EAGLE convoy carrying a lot of cash. Cut to Gunman Mask and his squad robbing a couple of banks. Gonpachi reads about it in the newspaper and Ki jokes about it. The other rangers talk about it in worry. Meanwhile, Gunman Mask rips a bounty poster of himself before using the pistol on his head to blast a bank wall. While his zolders rope the safe out the Gorengers arrive to make trouble. His zolders and sharpshooting actually prove formidable until the Varitank siezes the vault. During the retreat Momo uses a butterfly probe to track Gunman Mask. Ao calls the Varidreen with both him and Momo inside to give chase (going to note he is on horseback). The mask monster meets up with three suspicious characters (on looks like the main villain from Pete's Dragon) with both rangers listening in. Shortly into the conversation Gunman Mask shoots the probe and them, causing the characters to run. Magman and Gunman Mask use an abacus in front of Fuhrer who is very displeased. The rangers print money from the vault soon after. Cut to Guman Mask stopping an EAGLE truck to steal the vault again with Ao and Momo in the back. Aka checks up on the shot men who played opossum using Kevlar and Midori and Ki pursue them.

Magman seems pleased with Gunman Mask's results. They start printing money from said vault (yes I know it is a printer) and Magman reports it tp Fuhrer, who looks unamused. The fake money is soon loaded onto two trucks. A character meet up is done in a freighter box yard where money is exchanged for handheld bombs. The mask monster is about to use one on some caged EAGLE agents and soon catches Momo disguised as a zolder, locking her in. She points to the money which changes into Gorenger faces. Gunman Mask shoots all three characters and tries to get the money until Aka and Ki arrive with Midori following. Ao busts out using the Varitank, cornering Gunman Mask and his squad when the rangers do their intros and grunt beat down, this time with the Varitank partaking. Gunman Mask holds his own until Ao shoots a pair of arrows into his head barrel. After he gets them out the Gorenger Hurricane is executed, how fitting that it turns into a pistol that shoots him in the mouth before exploding. Next episode shows Telephone Mask attacking.

Episode 52:

Out of all the episodes Deadfish had to randomly sub after he beginning it HAD to be this! Note that, folks.

Plans pertaining to the Red, Blue, and Green Machines are drawn up by scientists guarded by EAGLE. Telephone Mask watches behind some trees and calls them to make a threat before releasing fire through the phone. The conversation was caught on tape and the rangers listen to it. Momo notices comething on the talking end of the phone. Midori walks in talking about.... something. Momo and Midori check all the other phones from the guarded mansion when one phone starts ringing. Midori picks it up talking to the mask monster and shortly after emits poison gas. Midori runs out to beat up a scientist that was a zolder before more pop out of nowhere. A gased scientist is sent to the infermary. Cut to everyone at the base where Gonpachi worries a little. Blueprints to something get faxed and Telephone Mask's team of bugs pick it up. Magman reports this to Fuhrer who is angry because.... The rangers escort a convoy, Magman wants in and launches the Navarone to release a squad of condors. After the trucks blow up Aka radios Ao to get the Varitank which everyone hopes into. The Navarone fires directly at the tank and they FAIL. Are their cannons weak? Anyway they burrow underground.

The Gorengers return to base only to split up. One of Telephone Mask's scientist sneaks away to fax some blueprints. He soon runs away, radioing the rangers only for Telephone Mask to catch him. Zolders go after the scientist and he runs to a giant phone. Yup, you know what it is, and he dies from gas. I swear Telephone Mask resembles Darth Vader in the shot he turns back into one as the zolders carry him off. Some random guy uses him and he could not kill him somehow. The rangers receive some message and Telephone Mask stalks a car to call an Eagle general, gasing him in the car and sending it off a cliff. The same thing happens to another general as the rangers try to find him and Yoko does algebra. After a phone is used in the formula they get a phone number (I think). Telephone Mask gets angry at a message and locates the Gorengers, sending his squad to intercept them. Insert intros and zolder slaughter here. A few even pile on each other and Ki gets a high knock out count. Telephone Mask's head has the number dialed in, causing.... I don't know. Not that it matters as the Gorenger Hurricane is used, turning into blueprints before blowing up. How stupid are these guys? I mean they know it is a bomb, why don't they run? Next episode shows the rangers playing baseball with Baseball Mask and some guy that looks like Jack The Ripper.

Telephone Mask: Can use a head phone armed with a flamethrower and poison gas and retract into his body body and is equipped with a double sided ball staff

Next segment will feature opinion updating with the end of Magman's arc, the mask monster that was featured in Super Hero Wars, the end of Navarone and the machines, and the introductions to Commander in chief Golden Mask and Kiranger 2! Also a good chance said segment is not going to be posted tomorrow, I intend to marathon the last seven episodes of the original Machine Robo; it is sentai related as in toys were remolds from Sun Vulcan and Flashman- WOW did I get off topic with that tangent. Also the penultimate episode of Valvrave is tomorrow and that is going to divide my attention (oh boy how worse could this get I wonder).

Episode 53:

Out of all the episodes Super Hero Wars had to reference from this series, it HAD to be this one!

The rangers escort some criminal when a rockslide occurs by zolders. During the attack the criminal tries to escape, but Aka knocks him out. Ao arrives in the Varitank to help out, soon killing them all. The criminal is locked up in an EAGLE jail and Fuhrer is POed at Magman about it. Cut to Baseball Mask doing a game when he receives an order via a zolder. Aka and Ao talk about.... Something. Meanwhile, the mask monster and his squad lurk nearby behind the jail's fence. He sends a ball containing a suicide pill the prisoner consumes. During escort of his body Baseball Mask and his zolders ambush they complete with saying Home Run in english, demanding he play with them. Once the bombs fly the Gorengers get serious (them not so much). After the beat up the Gorenger Hurricane is used with weird editing and Aka throwing it. Also apparently baseballs are hard to dodge. The mask monster flees with the body of the criminal (I have no name, sorry) and revive him via electricity like Frankenstein. At base Gonpachi gives them a message which looks like half a baseball and Aka gets his serious face on. The criminal shows the mask monster and Magman a red ball that is really a bomb which kills innocent zolders, ticking off Baseball Mask. Magman tells him to calm down or else.

At an EAGLE base, Baseball Mask knocks out two guards and his men sneak a crate out. The Varidreen does not notice anything while flying. At the snack bar Taro comes back after a baseball game feeling down (I guess his team lost). Aka sneaks aboard their truck where he seems the red bombs. Baseball Mask and the criminal are not getting along while Aka spies on them. He soon throws the criminal and steels a part of a remote. One zolder beat up later a baseball is floating in the base for some reason. The other rangers soon arrive, do their intros, and before fighting the criminal inspects everyone with a monicle. Weird battle, half the zolders fight with bats. The criminal accidentally shoots Baseball Mask so a zolders guns him down. Ao goes shishkabob on some baseball bombs and the Gorenger Hurricane is used once again, but this time used as a baseball before blowing him up. Wow are the rangers cheaters here. Next episode shows the motorcycles used in battle and Magman fighting.

Baseball Mask: Is equipped with a baseball bat and head baseball bombs

Episode 54:

After a clip show on Navarone Magman gets ticked. Condors are launched at the Varidreen only to be shot. A missile is fired only for an energy barrier to surround the Navarone. The other rangers try to enter via motorcycle but a flamethrower stops them (where was this earlier?). Varitank is parachuted out, surviving a few shells and extinguishing flames. The tanks guns penetrate the energy barrier and do some damage. One burrow session later Magman retreats, but the Gorengers find schematics. Fuhrer throws a fit about Magman leaving them behind and I think has the Navarone taken from him as zolders stop him from progressing. Meanwhile, zolders chant the word Pharaoh with Fuhrer present all in front of a sarcofigus. After an explosion they walk off and Magman tries to break it once Fuhrer leaves. He commands two zolders to open it only for them to catch fire. He realizes it is golden mask and flees. Cut to Ki at the bar munching on what I think are mashed potatoes while the parrots says stuff (annoying him). Magman runs to the Navarone (apparently he still has access) and commands everyone to move into town. No, really, it just moves somehow. The rangers notice the rampage as it kills EAGLE troopers.

The Navarone fires on civilians and buildings. The Gorengers do not head out because.... No idea. Yoko spills coffee on the schematics, revealing more about the Navarone. They head out on the Varitank and the machines with the former going undergound before they are detected. The Varitank fires a missile at the Navarone, barely missing. Aka, Ao, and Midori use the Red/Blue/Green Machines, filled with explosives, to sneak onto- oh wow they fly apparently.... And the Navarone has a giant parking garage! Zolders try fighting and roll barrels, but it is useless as they wade through. The Blue Machine is sacrificed following the Green Machine. Aka soon sees the last high explosive area, riding up stares before reaching it. The three rangers fly off and the Navarone blows up with Magman being thrown out. The rangers do their intros, zolders pop up to get slain, and Magman is ganged up on. After Magman uses some fire balls via erupting his head the Gorenger Hurricane is used with it turning into an ice ball.... that Magman bites into before it explodes. WOW that was dumb. Fuhrer finishes the ceremony that brings Golden Mask to life. This time the Gorengers drive off all in the Varitank. Next episode shows a blimp and Big Ear Mask attacking, mostly against Ki.

Volcano Mask Magman: Can survive high falls and launch explosive fire balls from head and is equipped with a saber

Episode 55:

Hikers see Golden Mask's blimp which emits acid gas like Hedorah from the mouth. Big Ear Mask laughs to examine the hikers' skeletons (which are now brittle). Golden Mask tells Fuhrer about the chemicals used and via chalkboard explains how it'll cover the world. The Varidreen takes off and notices the skeletons. Aka, Momo, and Midori check them out. At the base they know what it is via film (that poor test rabbit!). Some guy walks in, saying his name and saying he is the new Kiranger. Gonpachi explains promotions and stuff so replacement was quick. Cut to a zolder on a bike entering Golden Mask's.... A sphinx base, really? He is soon executed unexpectedly via moving spike wall, although it seems more like mask removal. The Varitank moves out and Big Ear Mask attacks although new Ki cannot transform at first. Zolders are beaten up quickly and Big Ear Mask is ganged up on. She actually stops to check her make-up. Condors attack only for Ao int eh Varidreen to fend them off, taking one out. Once Big Ear Mask flees the blimp shows up with the Varidreen following. After losing it via missiles from the back, the blimp lands in the sphinx base. Back at base Gonpachi tells them to work together and send out the Varitank, soon finding the base's toll both. They enter the area via rock climbing.

Another base is cut to because.... I don't know. Rope climbing is used to cross a moat of acid. They then entered that room used to execute the zolder from earlier although it suddenly lets them go. They soon spot the sphinx base and blimp. Golden Mask and Big Ear Mask talk about stuff in the hanger. The Gorengers set a tracker to the blimp while Big Ear Mask gives the order to send the blimp out with Golden Mask boasting to the Fuhrer. The Varidreen finds it and launches it's claws , causing the blimp to explode. The base soon explodes from the rangers setting time bombs and the Black Cross Army is angry about it. Big Ear Mask escorts a truck filled with toxic chemicals although the Varidreen sends the Varitank to stop them via dyna claw. Once Big Ear Mask is isolated the rangers use the new Red, Blue, and Green Stars. Big Ear Mask and her squad of zolders catch up, but the latter are easily defeated. The rangers do their intros and the rest of the grunts are massacred. The mask monster joins in only for Aka to beat her down and the Gorenger Hurricane making her explode after turning into an ear plug. The truck's chemicals are then taken back to base. Next episode shows Golden Mask on a shore, Faucet Mask about to assassinate Momo, and some shots of Ao.

Big Ear Mask: Can teleport and emit a heat ray from the face and is equipped with a staff with missiles at the tip

Episode 56:

Everyone save Aka and Gonpachi take the day off at the beach, but Faucet Mask watches Taro and Ki fishing. The mask monster throws a boulder only for Ki to throw it and chase after him, but soon loses him by transforming into a hydrant. Cut to Ao and Ki in a public bath (or indoor hot spring) when Faucet Mask tosses a knife the window- Wait, why does a public bath have a window? A third attempt is done via drink poisoning, but thanks to Taro being clumsy some goldfish get it instead. Ao worries and Faucet Mask sets a trap with his head hoses which emit toxic gas as they sleep. They wake up and run after the mask monster only to lose him again although he tries to kill Momo in secret unsuccessfully. The others contact Aka about it via radio. Golden Mask throws a fit over Faucet Mask's failings. The next day the rangers go ocean swimming with the mask monster watching and throwing a bomb. He mets a few zolders on a bridge before the rangers show up to ambush them on the rocks. Once the zolders are taken care of, the rangers eventually manage to toss him off a cliff with Golden Mask being displeased. With that he (while disguising his voice as Midori's.... I think) tell Taro and Yoko to meet up somewhere only for it to be a trap.

The Gorengers cannot find Taro and Yoko around the area. Fuhrer yells at Faucet Mask with Golden Mask doing additional scolding; seriously, he is rarely this angry. When the rangers get back to base they formulate a plan with Aka and Gonpachi. Ki walks in with a message about Taro and Yoko from the mask monster. Cut to Yoko being tied to a pole and the Varitank mowing down zolders upon arrival. He shoves Ao and Momo to the side to shoot up Aka only to find a straw dummy while the other two untie Yoko. Ao fires some arrows at Faucet Mask, but his armor is too strong. He tries fishing them out of a cave with bombs, but they go out the other way. Yoko gives Ao a diamond ring.... for luck I assume. Aka and a car go down a dirt road with Faucet Mask attacking. The mask monster destroys the car with EAGLE agents and Aka transforms with Ki and Midori showing up. Once Ao and Momo show up the Gorengers do their intros, zolders are slain, and Faucet Mask beats up Ao for a bit. Ao fires an arrow with Yoko's diamond, hitting the mask monster between the eyes. The Gorenger Hurricane is then used, turning into a fire ball before exploding. Next episode shows Momo in various attire and Combcox (what kind of name is that?) Mask attacking.

Faucet Mask: Can turn into a hydrant form and is equipped with poison gas and machine guns from head faucets, a pair of mace ended tonfas, and bombs

Opinion time! Magman seems to be a good replacement for Temujin, I liked the Navarone although it was pathetically underused, the new Varidreen and Varitank are awesome replacements for Varibloom (although it was good in it's own right), and Black Cross Fuhrer revealing his true self was kind of cool even if the head cross and stars did not age well.:laugh:It seems like all the rangers have a balanced ratio of episodes although Midori seems to have gotten a little less. I think it is safe to say we are not seeing Agents 008 and 009 again, what were they, Huckebeins in human form? And next to nobody will get that joke. Next time opinions will be updated is when New-Ki's arc is over. Next segment I will try to cover the movie.

Oh and WHY DID BASEBALL MASK OUT OF ALL MASK MONSTERS REPRESENT THE GORENGER ERA IN SUPER HERO WARS? I mean honestly, there are better ones to choose from! On top of all that, after some research he does share a sizable amount of video game adaptions along with Locomotive Mask compared to other mask monsters (like Super Tokusatsu Wars 2001).

Merry Christmas ya humans with a side of bacon! Encroaching on us now is part 15!

Gorenger Movie:

Missile towers destroying an EAGLE base and a few mask monsters getting beaten up. Man the video quality looks better. Some missile gets monorailed across Japan for Golden Mask's latest plan and Fuhrer looks POed. Cut to a lightning storm and a jail cell with Steel Dragon in it. Lightning destroys the mountain he was held in, breaking him free. Meanwhile, the Gorengers are on a cruise line swimming and.... Oh wow, Agents 008 and 009- No, wait, just Momo and Yoko. They notice something off about some woman's make up (her lip stick turns into a button) and Aka and Ao become suspicious. After Momo takes pictures of schematics in her room we cut to dry land with the woman being trailed to a hotel. Gonpachi tells the rangers that she and some other guy on the cruise line are wanted for something, I cannot speak Japanese and in this case I cannot read Chinese. The fugitives speak English just fine though, Ao soon beats up randomly popping zolders and calls in the Varidreen. During all this Golden Mask's missile nears completion. The two fugitives make it to their car and flee with Aka tailing them. The fugitives soon lead them into a zolder ambush and Steel Mask shows to throw a boulder at them. Once Aka, Momo, and Midori transform they find themselves unable to ward the monster off and use the Gorenger Hurricane only to just make Steel Dragon (and the fugitives) retreat via speed boat.

The three rangers somehow get a speed boat and proceed to chase them down with the opening theme playing. Who knew bombs could look like aresol cans? The fugitives meet up with Golden Mask and the woman revealed to by the Fuhrer this whole time! What a twist! Zolders show up only to be beaten up with Ao and Ki showing up soon after for the intros. During the fight, Aka tries to rope the male fugitive only for Steel Dragon to stop him although Momo uses an earring bomb to stop him. Ao shoots the Fuhrer with arrows, but only a cloak remains. Once the Black Cross Army retreats they fire a missile with the Gorengers catch onto and try to stop via the Varidreen. Two missiles later and it works. The Varitank is parachuted down to burrow in the facility and wreck it up. Afterward, Steel Dragon attacks them and they waist no time doing the Gorenger Hurricane.... Splitting it into five bombs they all kick at once to destroy him! After that they ride off.

Episode 57:

An alarm at a lab goes off and Momo and Midori investigate. Once there the scientists given them a filled beaker. They fill it with another to form fog I think. Suddenly condors start gunning them down, killing two scientists. Combcox Mask and his dolzers come from behind a hill to attack. Once both rangers transform they attack with both of them unable to phase the mask monster. Once the condors try another gun down Aka and Ki show up (no zolders beaten up yet? I am surprised). Ao comes in firing machine guns at Combcox Mask, causing him to flee down a dam drain. At base Gonpachi and the rangers try to find him. Cut to a semi-truck whe- What the hell is that guy wearing? Anyway, he takes Momo to some restataunt and come smoker gives them a mean look. After Momo leaves the place so does the smoker who was tracking her apparently and they were to meet together.... Weird I know. Soon into said meeting though he tries to snap her wrist (horribly failing) and the smoker is revealed to be Combcox Mask. A zolder fight and run through the streets ensues. Combcox Mask apparently has every camera in town on his monitor, but he soon loses her. You know the old woman ditches chasers with disguises routine? Yeah, a good chunk of the next while takes up that. Also Golden Mask talkes about typical "trigger an eruption" evil plan.

At night three zolders gun down two teenagers and an earthquake happens. The routine continues with no zolder able to recognize Momo (and it goes into the next day). During this Momo notices something wrong with the sewers before getting cornered again although it turned out to be Midori. After they disguise themselves as hippies, Combcox Mask keeps looking for them with Quartet guy from the truck earlier finding her. Midori punches him out and we cut to Combcox Mask demanding chemical mixtures on the double. The two rangers throw a capsule into the sewer, making red dye, before scuba diving in. The mask monster has a hose to dump chemicals in. They both try to deactivate some device when Combcox Mask walks in on them and Momo reveals her disguises like in Cutey Honey.... Really Toei? Aka, Ao, and Ki also show up from nowhere. Once outside the intros and zolder decimation happen. Shortly after Combcox Mask attacks the Gorenger Hurricane is used in a large puddle of water to blow him up, but not before turning into a set of shark jaws. Next episode shows Parabolic Mask attacking a playground and Aka at some base.

Combcox Mask: Can jump high and disguise himself as a human and is equipped with a chicken foot staff with a machine gun

Episode 58:

Parabolic Mask and four zolders patrol in a jeep.... This one being yellow! His radar finds white amd black hooded groups doing a shady exchange, I think money and gold). The mask monster guns them down and his squad steals the cases. Momo and Midori receive a transmission while on patrol to investigate, soon finding Parabolic Mask's jeep. The two rangers cut them off and fight.... Five zolders? Talk about inconsistent, they even disappear after one hit. Parabolic Mask uses a parabolic on his head to rain hot sparks called the Parabolic Spark to flee. At base Golden Mask is disappointed with Fuhrer passing said disappointment to him. Golden Mask then has a model of some chateau brought out and whatever he said seems to please his boss a lot. Cut to the gym where Ki is barely keeping up with martial arts like Aka and Ao, Gonpachi enters shortly after to express disappointment which encourages him a bit. Momo and Midori return saying what they found. Shortly after Aka does some speech the rangers are called into a bank that is robbed (and everyone dead) when they get there. Meanwhile, Parabolic Mask and his goons harass the town, starting with Yoko hanging her laundry, soon stealing her ring. Yeah, gold stealing seems to be the mission this whole time. The zolders raid the house with no luck except for some bowl. Ki drives the Blue Star to chase them down, but is ambushed at a fork in the road. Also it seems like the zolders survi- wait, three more appeared from nowhere. Ki soon gets overwhelmed, eventually being beaten into submission and set in a jail cell. He really looks beat.

The rangers and Gonpachi discuss the next course of action while some news report says an Egyptain expo is coming to Tokyo, naturally Golden Mask wants in. Condors show up while the Gorengers escort the artifacts. While the truck stops Parabolic Mask and his squad steal it.... And nobody dies? I am impressed. The rangers sneack from the ba- Oh wow, they took off their helmets! That is a first! Anyway, they sneak behind the truck, zolders unload (now seven), Momo and Midori snuck in via a crate, they find Ki's cell, and beat up the three guards before breaking him out via.... Flamable cloth and robot beetle. Ao in the Varidreen launches Aka in the Varitank. Golden Mask gets a throne before he realizes all the stuff the crates were fakes and rocks. The Varitank fins the base, guns down a few zolders, burrows under, finds that the other rangers broke out, and a bomb goes off. Meanwhile, Momo and Midori rescue Ki from Parabolic Mask with Ao joining in before they are caged.... The cage was laid outside. Yeah. Anyway, the Parabolic Mask is used before the Varitank saves Ki, allowing him to break free and rip the cage open. The rangers do their intros, beat up zolders, Ao gets womped on by the mask monster before Aka saves him, and the Gorenger Storm is used to destroy Parabolic Mask as it turns into a weird Buddhist statue (I think). Golden Mask throws the chateau model off a bridge in rage. Next episode shows Deathbird Mask attacking and some shots of zolder beat down, mostly from Aka.

Parabolic Mask: Is equipped with a radar staff, head missiles called the Parabolic Missile, and hot sparks from a flying parabolic called Parabolic Spark

Episode 59:

On a stormy night some couple is awoken, soon finding Deathbird Mask stealing their stuff. If he is a bird why is he modeled after a pterosaur? The mask monster chomps on the elderly male's head before running. The next day at the base Aka and Gonpachi analyze the statue that tries to be stolen. Cut to some battle in feudal Japan (statue's origins), Ao puts a serious look on his face from it. The rangers (Ao is not present) are soon on a cruise ship with Momo and Midori disgusted by Ki's eating habits and Aka sees a suspicious character. After some follow around seen Aka and Momo pursuit via car, eventually catching up to him. Based on these sets I think Toei was filming the Gorenger movie around the same time. Ki and Midori beat up some zolders during the pursuit, eventually losing him. The Gorengers head to a hotel and discuss plans in a public bath. The rangers meet up with some old man briefly before Yoko is briefly attacked by zolders. Aka soon encounters Deathbird Mask on the roof top, transforming and fighting the mask monster. Ki and Midori show up, but it is of little help as a combination of smokescreen and flight allows him to escape. Ao takes off in the Varidreen and Ki and Yoko are anbushed, resulting in the latter being a hostage.

Soon after an exchange with the statue and Yoko is done with typical betrayal. Why do the rangers bother? Ao and Momo pursue the mask monster only for a bomb to stop them (or dynamite or whatever) Once we see Yoko wrist chained in a cell the Gorengers find useful information about a castle.... No idea what it is, but they bring up what I think is a subway map. After a good minute or two of discussion the rangers scout Deathbird Mask's base, the old man in EAGLE uniform and a few troopers are with them to bring a heavy machine gun while the rangers go in a cable car. The plan fails as Deathbird Mask uses a gas gun to smoke them out (pun semi-intended). One the ground they do their intros, decimate zolders, Aka takes on the mask monster, and Ao calls in the Varidreen and some explosives. Noticeably the Varitank is present, which Ao uses during the fight to burrow beneath the base. Once Yoko is rescued he tunnels out. Deathbird Mask then flies around emitting toxic gas, forcing them to use the Gorenger Hurricane which turns into a net before exploding (why can't they use that more often?). Yoko is grateful and Aka folds his arms with the expression "yeah I fracking did it". Next episode shows Ao fighting Shellfish Mask while the other rangers fight on a beach.

Deathbird Mask: Can fly and is equipped with strong jaws, a machete, upper jaw smokescreen, and a gas gun

Episode 60:

A zolder tells Golden Mask something. We see a submarine from South America to Japan moving, Fuhrer seems annoyed. The submarine then crashed somehow. Meanwhile, Momo and Yoko go to the beach as the latter has her feet entangled on something. Once a rock is smashed on it the object retracts into a giant clam and zolders appear. Both of them manage to fight them off with Aka soon arriving. The clam is noted by them and.... we cut to Ki in a hotel about to big out on seafood before Aka walks in to spoil his meal. All the rangers assemble with the old man EAGLE commander/general from the last episode (I don't have a name, sorry) to examine the clam. Momo notes something. Golden Mask receives a letter from a zolder and throws a fit. Cut to an airport where some guy who sort of reminds me of Mr. Miyagi from the Karate Kid movies is trailed by the Black Cross Army. After mustache guy talks to Gonpachi on the phone he screams or something upon opening his hotel room.... Then he is fine and looks at the clam, driving off with it. Aka notes something and during the drive we see zolders with a corpse that looks like.... I'm calling him glasses guy, I don't have a name. Aka finds glasses guy in a tarp trapped by zolders and Ao is informed. Once Aka brings the real glasses guy he and his imposter yell at each other (the latter seems calm until Aka attacks him). The imposter is a zolder who throws a smoke bomb before an entire squad shows up to fight and hijack the van with the clam.

The clam is carried off as it contains a missile (probably what was being transported. The clam then turns into Shellfish Mask as Ao and Midori show up. Once the rangers dive underwater, the missile is taken into a cave where the two pursue. Was this Black Satan's base in Kamen Rider Stronger? The cave seems similar. Both rangers are lost and Ao is grabbed by Shellfish Mask's tongue while Midori has zolders ambushing him. Midori is ordered to run back to the hotel where he tells the others everything. Glasses guy talks about something and I have no idea what. Shellfish Mask looks at the missile and delights in being evil (you can tell in his laugh). Meanwhile, Momo and glasses guy make.... some box-like device, later we see magnets attached so I assume a metal detector. Aka uses the Varidreen to missile barrage the cave entrance and soon all four rangers attack on foot. Momo notices some blue arrows and they follow them. Shortly after the take down a wall, revealing the missile room. Once outside Ao reveals himself to have escaped from Shellfish Mask much to the mask monster's dismay. Ranger intros and zolder smack down occur. Once Momo bombs Shellfish Mask's shell open the Gorenger Hurricane is used- Oh wow they dropped it in the water! No, wait, Momo carried a spare and it turned into a giant silver pearl before blow Shellfish Mask up. Instead of the usual drive off the rangers look to the water on an ocean liner. Next episode shows a zolder version of the Gorenger Hurricane lead by Cowshoe Mask.

Shellfish Mask: Can swim fast and turn into a clam and is equipped with a long tongue

Valvrave ended today.... I have nothing and would rather not discuss that fiasco........... The coming is here with part 16!

Episode 61:

Cowshoe Mask has his head polished by three zolders. After that the rest of his squad attacks the rangers while they're on bikes. During the fight a zolder in a marching outfit comes with a Black Cross Army version of the Gorenger Hurricane, complete with trumpets blowing. After some tossing Cowshoe Mask kicks it, revealing a black cross on fire instead of actual harm. Once the mask monster runs the Gorengers discuss the Gorenger Hurricane at the base. Midori points out that the one they dropped in the water last time must have been retrieved. Ao, Momo, and Midori head out in the Varidreen to take it back, going to the last battle's location. Midori dives for it on the coast and Momo gets a shoe bomb in a net. Cowshoe Mask and his goons show up with Momo and Midori taking them on. There is an amusing bit with Cowshoe Mask drying himself off. Anyway, both retreat and show up at the hotel only for zolders to follow (and get beaten up). There are actual arcade machines in this hotel, talk about rich! Both rangers manage to flee and split up. After the split up Midori continues searching, eventually finding the Gorenger Hurricane, but Cowshoe Mask's zolders jump in after him with Momo following. She manages to replace it with a fake one.... That was also underwater? I don't get it either, but Cowshoe Mask grabs it via fishing pole with both of them retrieving the real one via a bucket.

Cowshoe Mask has two zolder scientists taking apart the fake bomb while at base Momo explains they left a key part out of the fake one. Some time after, Cowshoe Mask tries to give a big presentation with the Black Cross Army Hurricane although Fuhrer seems to be POed he and Golden Mask were dragged into the open. Cowshoe Mask's clumsiness and the bomb turning into a crow foils everything. Said crow flies into his mouth and blows up. Golden Mask then beats up Cowshoe Mask in rage. At the base Ki and Taro talk about.... something and Yoko walks in saying she saw the rehersal. Cowshoe Mask yells at his two scientists. Aka gets a message via arrow to meet up for the rematch. Could you imagine if the US and Al-Queda fought in a game of football? Anyway, the BCAH turns into pineapple bombs to scare the rangers off and at base they discuss the next course of action. Cut to the mask monster and his squad attacking EAGLE soldiers while the Gorengers repair the Gorenger Hurricane. After the EAGLE soldiers are killed off the rangers arrive via Varitank and do their intros. The BCAH is used only for the Varitank to suck them up and fire a big black ball which takes some zolders out. Both sides have their hurricanes collide and turn into beetles that go into Cowshoe Mask's mouth. Next episode shows Rib Mask attacking.

Cowshoe Mask: Can turn into a shoe that teleports and is equipped with a giant fly swatter, the Black Cross Army Hurricane, and shoe bombs

Episode 62:

Three scientists put some fuse in a box which then explodes, making it a tiny bomb. Aka is tasked with transporting it After nearly running Taro over he is ambushed by Rib Mask and his zolders. Aka's attacks barely phase the mask monster and he tries to flee only to fail and fall down a cliff. Brutal scene. Upon reaching the bottom only the Red Star is seen by Rib Mask and Aka calls in for help. At the bar, Ki stuffs his face with spaghetti while talking to Taro. Ao walks in telling everyone to move it and soon takes off in the Varidreen and Green Star. Poor Blue Star is forgotten. Aka finds himself unable to shoot a flare with zolders in the area and the Varidreen eventually leaves. That night Aka walks around with a limp, soon finding a house. The house's owner, some woman in white that looks like Draculas's human form in Ultraman Jack, invites him in even giving dinner. Aka discovers his drink was drugged, falling down with Rib Mask walking in and taking the bomb from him. Aka is place in a jail cell for interrogation. I assume they cannot open it. Momo and Midori locate the house with Rib Mask finding out.... x-ray vision? They enter and find the house's host who shows them Aka resting in a bed. Whatever they drugged Aka with he can't move more than his lips and eyelids. The two soon leave after some talking.

Gonpachi talks about how suspicious the situation is.... in the middle of the street? Whatever. Both rangers than head back to the house, this time a coffin replacing the bed Aka was in and the host being in it. Rib Mask restrains them with his head ribs and has vampire woman rise only to close her up again. Ao cannot reach them on the radio. Rib Mask tries to open the container with a circular saw and cannot. The mask monster talks to Golden Mask and Fuhrer about it, neither of who seem to give much of a frack. The next day they but the container in an iron-looking rocket. Aka, Momo, and Midori are tied up with a time bomb and the former only wakes up when the sun is out. Aka gets a knife out of his shoe, throwsit at a candle, uses the flame to untie himself, and somehow gets them both out when the house blows up. Ao and Ki interrupt the rocket launch with the others arriving to do intros and grunt beat up (how they escape is never shown, but remember, the Gorengers teleport!). Since Aka's limp went away he easily takes on Rib Mask. The Gorenger Storm is executed, turning into a bowl of soup Rib Mask swallows and explodes from it (what a goof). Momo retrieves the bomb and they ride off. Next episode shows Television Mask attacking with guns from his head.

Rib Mask: Is equipped with a forked staff, boomerang head ribs, x-ray vision, and a vampire woman

Episode 63:

An alarm goes off at an EAGLE base, turns out it was Television Mask in disguise (how did he get in?). He transmits something to his zolders and Ao picks up on it. The mask monster then opens a safe, stealing some envelope. Soon after the rangers and Gonpachi rush over to the base and discuss things. A trooper (unknowingly) takes Television Mask away in a truck. Aka and Ao notice the angle of the bullet holes in the wall. Momo and Midori follow the truck where Television Mask is put into a hydrolic press when his zolders save him via replacement. After the two are called back we see Television Mask trying to tell Golden Mask his plans, Fuhrer seems too zoned out or bored. The Gorengers then split up with different EAGLE squads. The Black Cross Army transmits something and Ao and Yoko try to trace it. During this Television Mask attacks Midori and his squad.... with his squad attacking in negatives? Either way Aka, Ki, and Momo stop the mask monster at a road block. Once Midori shows up the fighting begins and the mask monster flees much to Golden Mask's dismay. Fuhrer also scolds him.

EAGLE prepares for Television Mask who returns in a jeep and two trucks, tossing grenades and firing a harpoon. Ki, Momo, and Midori try to stop him, soo fighting his large zolder squad. Ao moves around the Blue Star to search for the enemy base, soon finding it and climbing a waterfall. Meanwhile Aka and Momo, with the Varitank, have a face off with Television Mask's squad complete with suicide bombers. The EAGLE troopers fall back (only to fail) while Television Mask blasts everyone with a big cannon. The other rangers try to make a final stand outside a nuclear plant as Ao continues to beat Sam Fisher's record of sneaking. Thanks to terrible zolder acting and martial arts he takes over the transmission room, screwing with the mask monster's circuits just as he was about to fire a missile. Ao then transmits himself before the others arrive for zolder slaughter. Once Ao appears the intros happen and Television Mask gets tossed around with his squad. The Gorenger Strom is used turning into a hand that presses a button and blowing him up. Next episode shows Clock Mask attacking and the premier of the battlers and elite zolders.

Television Mask: Can turn into his television form and is equipped with a dimensional screen on his head that can emit weapons and an energy blast and a missile launcher

Episode 64:

Fuhrer summons a lightning storm in Giza where a pyramid explodes and the Black Cross Castle emerges. From is a battler flies out. At the snack bar Ki gives Taro silly glasses. During this the town spots a UFO. Ao and Ki take the Varidreen to investigate and use a camera near the cockpit to film it. Once it disappears the film is shown at the base. Said UFO turns out to be a battler with Clock Mask leading elite zolders. Anyway, the ninja zolders sneak around an EAGLE base. Some time bombs are planted and blow up the base. Momo and Midori notice it the next morning and fight the ninja zolders and Clock Mask. Both of them prove hard to fight until Momo controls the zolders by changing the time on Clock Mask's head.... Yeah I don't get it eother. They spot the Battler which the mask monster and squad board. The Battler then fires four cannons on the Varidreen only to be attacked back. The battler fires a missile with egg mines that home into the Varidreen, causing it to crash.

At base the Varidreen goes under repairs while the rangers analyze the Battler on film. They also got camera footage of the ninja zolders (somehow). A message comes in that they are attacking another base with stock footage building explosions, the battler helps this time. I am amazed EAGLE is still around at this point. Aka, Momo, and Midori notice some white object. After that the rangers patrol around an EAGLE base for extra security except Ao who is over looking Varidreen repairs. Ki spots something and Aka rushes, noticing the ninja zolders and Clock Mask. The Battler and Varidreen show up for a rematch, matching their missiles until the Varidreen launches the bomb claws on it. The rangers do their intros during the battle and manage to fight them off somewhat better although they are still formidable. The zolders leave, making Clock Mask fight alone and get ganged up on. The Gorenger Hurricane is initiated, random normal zolders appear to help, and it turns into a magnet before blowing Clock Mask up. The Black Cross Castle flies ovehead with Fuhrer rather cheery. Said castle then parachutes a giant time bomb down only for Varitank (Ao driving) to change the claws and throw it half a kilometer away. Oh hey a new opening theme! I like this one, very choiry. Next episode shows Aka against Fallen Leaves Mask.

Ninja Zolder: Can teleport and are equipped with an acid gun, camouflage, and a spear

We are coming onto the home stretch! The status quo returns with part 17!

Episode 65:

At the castle Fuhrer discusses something and Golden Mask gives commands. Cut to the ranger base where they are intimidated by the flying castle. The Varidreen takes off while a castle sends a battler which in turn drops four condors from the underside. Ao shoots one down and the castle flies over the city, dropping bombs and hurricane force winds. Michael Bay would be proud. The Varidreen uses the space wing or whatever the claws are called to blow up the battler while the castle lands near the base. Varidreen fires a missile only for an energy barrier to stop it and retaliate via lightning from the central tower. At the base Aka gives orders to retreat and leave a smokescreen. Golden Mask heads out on a jeep. As Aka, Momo, and Midori escort some truck Fallen Leaves Mask appears with ninja zolders. A fight ensues and one EAGLE trooper dies of leaves, I assume they're toxic. Fallen Leaves Mask manages to out maneuver the rangers and the truck being escorted blows up. The mask monster flees and Ao and Ki are told to stay put. A battler is launched by Fuhrer's orders with it releasing condors that attack a train. That poor locomotive. The battler itself rampages through town. At the base the rangers see a jeep strolling and head out in the Varitank.

Ao goes to the Varitank just as Fallen Leaves Mask appears. During the fight bombs erupt from a nearby mountain to burry the Varidreen. Aka takes the Varitank to throw rocks at the mask monster and save their fighter. Once Fallen Leaves Mask flees they find it. The Gorengers look at the castle on a hill, thinking of how to get rid of it. They head out on bike as Golden Mask watches. Once the castle barrier is set up Fallen Leaves Mask sets up a road block with normal zolders. The bikes stop and the rangers all appear on a contruction tower, do their intros, and defeat grunts. The ninja zolders arrive making it 5 against 6. If not for teleportation the rangers would easily defeat them. Some time later Fallen Leaves Mask joins in and after failing to blind the rangers for long the Gorenger Hurricane is used, turning into a camp fire before blowing the mask monster up. Aka radios Yoko to use the Varitank to burrow underground, which catches Golden Mask by surprise. The claws are used to beat up the barrier, which sets the fortress aflame. The stars are used to fly with stock footage on the Navarone raid 22 episodes back. The rangers storm the castle and place time bombs, getting out before the go off. The castle actually blows up.... Then A NEW ONE EMERGES FROM UNDERGROUND! HOW DOES THAT WORK!? No matter. Next episode shows Pinwheel Mask attacking with his squad.

Fallen Leaves Mask: Can divide into poison leaves and reform

Episode 66:

A battler launches, dropping bombs around Japan. Pinwheel Mask commands where bombs land while the attacks. Golden Mask briefly tells the mask monster to kill the rangers. Our heroes look at a map and message about.... something. Meanwhile Pinwheel Mask and the ninja zolders raid a lab. Shortly after normal zolders attack Momo and Midori. The zolders are beaten down, but the mask monster runs with the battler bomb dropping. Back at base they expla- Wait, those messages were just random numbers? Supposedly some old guy was kidnapped during the lab raid. Momo and Midori tonice said guy in a car filled with zolders and proceed to a rush rescue. Windmill Mask shows up with the Varidreen following soon after. Yoko pilots the Varidreen while the other rangers gang up on him and the Varitank is parachuted down to gun down the zolder patrol. The Varitank steals the car with the hostage and Ki blocks a shoe bomb which causes him to tumble down a hill. The Gorengers retreat to an EAGLE base briefly. Once out on patrol Aka and Midori encounter Windmill Mask who wants a hostage exchange between old guy and Ki.

The exchange is done.... WITHOUT A BETRAYAL? Wow, I am impressed, this mask monster has class. Anyway, old guy (Aka in disguise) manages to grab something important and run while said old guy at the hospital was just a zolder in a mask.... Yeah I am perplexed too. Ao, Ki, and Midori find Windmill Mask and his zolders, beating the latter up while the former commands the battler call down condors. Ao radios the Varidreen and shoots one down. During the retreat, Aka sneaks around a not-so-abandoned base they're keeping old guy. Hey, I want a name too, don't think I am saying old guy by laziness. Said guy is wounded, making Aka's task more difficult. After Aka keeps him safe ina crate he takes a message from the base's control room before retrieving the crate. The castle flies and Fuhrer commands a battler be launched. The Gorengers take to the Varidreen to fight it, soon winning with one claw bomb. The castle retreats and Windmill Mask throws a fit. The rangers do their intros, zolders pop out from nowhere to be beaten, and nine zolders do a windmill dance that makes the rangers fall down.... AND THEY DO THEIR OWN VERSION THAT WORKS. The mask monster manages to give the rangers a run for their money until the Gorenger Hurricane is executed, complete with Ao cosplaying as a zolder and turning into a fan before causing him to explode. Next episode shows Can Opener Mask and shots of Ki.

Windmill Mask: Is equipped with shoe bombs and a head windmill

Episode 67:

EAGLE troopers and Ki patrol a base, soon pulling a truck over to investigate contnets. Momo checks up to further inspect them. After Midori does an alarm test we see four scientists making some super acid. The alarm goes off and Ki encounters barrels falling, which drill open suddenly. He radios Midori who also encounters the barrels, which open up revealing ninja zolders.... with short swords like the regulars. The barrels near Ki do the same and he gets beaten up. Once black barrel rolls in revealing Can Opener Mask. The mask monster kills the scientists and takes off with a box with contents. At their own base the rangers plan their next action and Ki feels bad about himself. Ao takes off in the Varidreen and takes pictures of the area. Cars and a train blow up around the area with Can Opener Mask boasting about it. It also seems like Fuhrer's face turned from gray to blue or maybe it is the lighting. Four battlers launch with one releasing condors that cause mayhem. Ki tries crowd control to no avail and gets bummed out. Taro gives him a prep talk and three rice balls only to get accidentally ran over by the cops. Ki feels bad and he is taken to the hospital. Meanwhile, Can Opener Mask and his squad go on a rampage blowing up buildings.

Ki sneaks aboard a Black Cross Army truck. After some shipment he takes on the convoy himself and pushes their jeep back before tilting it. Ki takes some boxes, which explode like bombs. Can Opener Mask launches his head blade into Ki's torso, but he still fights to destroy the boxes. The others arrive horrified. He falls down, his helmet somehow gone, and he says his final words happily before biting the big one. Rest in peace, soldier. Ao take the last box in the Varidreen, taking out a condor and battler, and takes on the castle with the box only for Fuhrer to laugh at him. The other rangers take on Can Opener Mask and his zolders before Ao returns. Can Opener Mask notes they cannot use the Gorenger Hurricane and the Varitank shows up with Ooiwa (previous Kiranger) and Yoko. Intros and beat downs happen before the ninja zolders arrive, who get beaten up quite easily. How come they stopped teleporting? Was it all in the spears? After the beat down and flips Can Opener Mask attacks, but the Varitank tosses him. The Gorenger Hurricane is initiated with a bunch of flips, turning into a can before exploding. The final shot has everyone around Kumano's grave, very well shot and emotional moment. Next episode shows Injection Mask attacking and someone that looks like Chris Angel.

Can Opener Mask: Can turn into his barrel form and is equipped with right arm drills and a launchable head blade called the Flying Cutter

Episode 68:

Momo gives some guy a report at an EAGLE base. Injections are done to prevent a disease. Midori sees four troopers acting weird and a battler starts bombing the base. Momo radios it to Aka and the Varidreen takes off with him and Ao. Momo encounters Injection Mask and his zolders. After the grunt beat up she holds her own against Injection Mask until the Varidreen fires on him, forcing him to run. Fuhrer hears his complaints and gets angry from it (Golden Mask does not seem to care). The rangers discuss the situation at the base and Ao walks in mentioning a black disease (in plain english). Momo and Yoko investigate, meeting people with the supposed black disease. Not sure if zombies or goths. Once discussion with them at a cafe later they find themselves surrounded.... only to run away and encounter zolders with dart guns. In an abandoned building they find Taro walking around (wow he healed fast) saying vaccines were being handed out and he fled. Momo radios the situation to Ki and Midori who are spying on a truck. Aka soon jumps on it, beating zolders up. He sneaks around the base, seeing Injection Mask talking in front of a map and injecting someone that his squad tosses out the door. Aka tries to wake him up, but he seems lathargic and passes out.

Momo, Yoko, and Taro see a stand with "vaccines" and soon get caught as Yoko breaks a black disease case. Momo manages to get the Blue Star and save Yoko from the zolders. She meets up with Aka, Ki, and Midori and Ao is radioed in to launch the Varidreen. Meanwhile the rangers attack Injection Mask and his goons. Lots of jumping here. Ki jects a needle in the left leg and the Varidreen arrives to bomb black disease shipments. A battler appears and after getting fired at is claw bombed. Once the black disease lab is blown up by a missile Ao takes the Varitank in a parachute. He attacks the mask monster's squad and squeezes the disease out of him via the claws. The rangers do their intros, dispose of the zolders quickly, ninja zolders toss grenades, but they fall shortly after. What happened to their competence? Noticeably Momo deflects sword throwing with her hands. Injection Mask uses needles to slow Ki, Momo, and Midori down, but Aka and Ao prove too much for him. The Gorenger Hurricane is used, flips and all with it turning into a beaker that ends the mask monster. Next episode shows Pineapple Mask attacking and shots of Ki.

Injection Mask: Is equipped with needle arms, producing the black disease, and hip needles

Where to begin? Golden Mask seems more like a lapdog for Fuhrer than someone that tries to get anything done. Also if he has an egyptian theme why wear a toga? As for the replacement Kiranger I thought he was a very good replacement, had an honorable and respected end, and I found nothing wrong with him.:buttrock:The Black Cross Castle and Battlers, they make the stakes higher than before sort of. I do not get why the ninja zolders (yes I know they are really called Camouflaged Zolders or whatever, ninja is just easier to type) suddenly go from worth a darn to just a variation of the regular, what happened to teleportation? At least Fuhrer seems to emote other emotions. Finally, did Fuhrer really hide the castle under Giza? If so for how long? How long was he on this planet? Too many questions and no answers. No matter, I am thinking of bumping the last four parts to five episodes rather than four, probably won't happen though.

Episode 69:

Today's episode sta- WHOA, new flying vehicle!? Anyway, Ki, Yoko, and Taro see Pineapple Mask passing pineapples out. After Yoko gets a samply she takes it back to the bar. Some characters take pineapple plants in a van which turn out to be probes (yup, zolders). Two cops notice the van and die.... Not sure how, too dark for the first one, the ninja zolders kill the second one onscreen though. One from the bar snoops around the Gorenger base and Ki gets a midnight snack (he must love whatever that gravy and rice dish is). The probe returns to the tree as Ki watches and the nex day they analyze it. Meanwhile zolders plant pineapple plants and Golden Mask checks up on Pineapple Mask in his jeep. No, really, first time in a while he has been outdoors. At the castle a battler launches and destroys an EAGLE base, oh the gratuitous stock footage. The Varidreen battles it with condors soon emerging with one going down. Pineapple Mask sees the other rangers via binoculars and thanks to a pathetic mine that does no damage he stops them. Pineapple Mask throws a fit during the dialogue and the ninja zolders attack. After the Varidreen takes the condors out the battler proves formidable. After the ninja zolders are defeated Pineapple Mask escapes, but Ki gives chase on the Blue Star. Aka, Momo, and Midori then get attacked by pineapple probes planted earlier which act as bombs. Ki takes on ninja zolders by himself, but Pineapple Mask interferes and restrains him. The pineapple bombs are then launched at the Varidreen, forcing it to retreat.

At base the Gorengers plan Ki's rescue. During this Momo shows the newly developed Varikyun on screen.... An then we cu to Varidreen taking off. Pineapple Mask notices the aircraft and has bombs launch. Shortly after a space capsule is launched and becomes Varikyun. A battler appears and the balloon emits red smoke before launching a claw on a chain that damages it before they.... use another claw on a chain to ram it into a cliff. Weird. Varikyun lands and Aka, Momo, and Midori take out ninja zolders in loads. Aka and Midori manage to rescue Ki from his cell and Momo uses the Varikyun to defend herself from the mask monster. She uses the balloon to rip the cell's roof off and rescue Ki. One earring bomb later on the transmission tower prevents pineapple bombs from launching and on a monitor Golden Mask throws a fit. The Varidreen destroys what remains of the base before the ranger intros and zolder/ninja zolder annihilation. Man Ki acts clumsy this episode. Aka takes on Pineapple Mask alone only to fail, Ki follows soon after although Midori saves him. Once Momo earring bomb's his head the Gorenger Hurricane is used with everyone going over it leap frog style before is destroys Pineapple Mask. This time the ride off is in the Varidreen and Varikyun. Next episode shows Tire Mask attacking.

Pineapple Mask: Is equipped with head bombs and constricting body leaves

Episode 70:

Fuhrer gets angry about something while Golden Mask tells Tire Mask about the Earth's magnetic sphere via picture. One zolder does not like it and runs off only for Tire Mask to kill him in a jeep (a cliff did most of the work anyway). Before dying he emits a radio antenna in his right shoe. Soon Ki and Yoko track down his signal. They notice something is written on his hand. Aka puts on his serious face about it. Cut to a base where Ki and Momo talk to a guy with a mustache. Tire Mask spies on them in the bushes and Midori shows up. After a car inspection the Green Star escorts mustache guy until his car goes nuts. Remote control? Nope, just a flat tire with comedic fast forwarding. The spare runs off into the bushes and it turns into Tire Mask. Robert from Rubber must consider this guy a hero. Momo and Midori fight while Ki drives off with mustache guy (I WISH I HAD NAMES FOR THESE PEOPLE!). Sure enough the flat tire stopped them pretty quickly, but they check the engine for some reason. After that the car moves on its own and Tire Mask attacks Ki, eventually knocking him out. At the Gorenger base Tire Mask contacts them boasting about having mustache guy. One Aka serious face later he takes off in the Red Star alone. Tire Mask shows up on an offroad bike to duel, soon shifting to hand to hand until ninja zolders catch him. Aka is rope tied and thrown in a cage where Tire Mask, Golden Mask, and Fuhrer laugh at him. After they leave a zolder breaks him out with Golden Mask looking.

Aka beats up zolders and soon finds a giant missile being constructed. While dismantling it choking gas is emitted in the room he is in. Tire Mask restrains him to a chair and broadcast's it to the others with a hammy evil speech. Ao notices Aka's visor emitting morse code. Meanwhile the missile emerges from a cliff about to launch with Aka inside. We see the stock footage of the castle emerging from the Giza pyramids before the launch. The Varidreen shows up and Golden Mask orders a battler launch with the Varikyun following the missile. Thanks to claw attachments they fly up and untie Aka. Once they are off Tire Mask gets POed and the Varitank breaks into the base driven by Yoko. After she beats up two zolders she saves mustache guy. The rangers have intros and zolder beat ups, three (later more) ninja zolders show up with tires for killer tire mayhem. Aka soon takes Tire on himself although that does not go well until the Varitank tosses him. The Gorenger Hurricane is executed, turning into an air pump that destroys Tire Mask. Instead of a ride off they look at the sunset. Next episode shows some trippy shot of a woman in white and Piano Mask attacking.

Tire Mask: Can turn into his tire form and mentally control tires

Episode 71:

Hikers gonna hike. That is until a fault and fog hits them. Midori reads about it in the paper. Cut to an excavation site where something is detected. Fog rolls in and they hear a piano playing. Yoko gets a radio message about it so Aka, Momo, and Midori head out. Once at the site nobody is there. Aka hears something underground and they split up. Midori sees a white ballerina and a white piano in some fog. He chases her through the foliage while Aka radios Ao and Ki to head out via Varidreen. Varikyun is launched with Ki on it while Aka and Momo fly to it. They soon find Midori and the ballerina with the latter disappearing and he walks off a cliff. The Varikyun claw saves him and he wakes up on the ground where he explains what happened. Down a rocky hill they see bodies. The ballerina and music occur again and Aka throws a rock, causing disappearance. He finds a movie projector where the rock was thrown and they hear Piano Mask as he walks out of foliage. Ninja zolders pop up and the rangers clash with them. Aka and Midori do enough harm to Piano Mask to have him run.

Piano Mask and three zolders run into a cave where Ao follows. He spots some machine underground and takes pictures. At the base the rangers try to figure out what it it. Aka deduces it could trigger a nearby volcano and they head out with the stars, Varitank, Varidreen, anf Varikyun. Volcanos: SERIOUS BUSINESS! A battler attacks with condors, but the Varidreen and Varikyun take them on. Piano Mask on a jeep heads for the rangers and an earthquake occurs as the machine rises and spews sparks until the Varitank attacks it underground. Piano Mask summons a net and activates some fire trap, but the former is removed by the Varikyun. Once in the cave Aka, Ki, and Midori plant bombs as the Varitank closes in, complete with tossing a bomb. The Varidreen fires a missile on the machine, failing, and uses the battler and claw bombs in a double whammy much to Golden Mask's surprise. The Gorengers find Piano Mask, do their intros, whoop zolders and ninja zolders, piano mask runs to the white piano to emit fog, and Aka beats him. The Gorenger Storm is initiated, turning into a ballerina doll that plays his teeth before exploding. Next episode shows Aka with a time bomb, Anchor Mask, and Ao beating up ninja zolders.

Piano Mask: Can emit fog via white piano and is equipped with a net

Episode 72:

On the castle Fuhrer talks to Anchor Mask and changes his rob from white to red for some reason. A battler heads out, destroying the city. Ao and Ki launch int he Varidreen and Anchor Mask sends out condors with him on one before jumping onto the cockpit and spraying frost on it. He then proceeds to unscrew something, causing it to land suddenly. Anchor Mask then gets a squad of ninja zolders and demands they surrender unless the battler does more harm. Two ninja zolders fail to gun them down, but the mask monster and his squad corner them with anchors. Both transform and fight back. Ki is restrained, but Ao saves him. They hide in a dirt hill with Anchor Mask losing their trail. This allows normal zolders to take stuff from the Varidreen via truck. Ao steals a zolder's motorcycle to give chase and soon fires an arrow with a message for the other Gorengers who head out on bikes. During the chase he finds mines in the dirt upon falling. He.... SOMEHOW gets away and meets up with the others as he drew a map. Ao gets his serious face on.

On a rocky beach Ao dives and swims near a squad of zolders before finding a net. He cuts it with a knife, setting an alarm off. Zolders throw depth charges in the water (wrong area) and Ao gets away. Fuhrer and Golden Mask contact Anchor Mask about.... Something. During that Ao scales a cliff with Aka watching via binoculars. After the scaling he sneaks around and beats a few zolders up before planting a time bomb. The others use the stars to raid the base, beating down grunts along the way. During this Aka removes a bomb on the Varidreen and it flies off. Aka hides the bomb in a room, but Anchor Mask locks him in. Momo takes the Varikyun, breaking Aka out before the building erupts. The mask monster is found with ranger intros, ninja zolder smack down, Ao holds his own against Anchor Mask, and the Gorenger Hurricane is used to blow him up after turning into.... a row boat? Usually the objects are small, but this thing could support him! The Gorengers fly off in the Varidreen. Next episode shows Kendo Mask on a horse attacking.

We have now entered the single digits of remaining episodes! Without any more delay this is part 19!

Episode 73:

EAGLE troopers train with guns at dusk. Suddenly Kendo Mask on a white horse shows up with zolders in Chinese attire. The troopers fail to gun them down, getting slaughtered. You cannot get this red shirt leveled so easily. The next day Aka, Momo, and Midori show up and notice an arrow with a red flag. They soon encounter Kendo Mask on the road with him and Midori dueling. Two EAGLE troopers get killed before the battle starts. Shortly into the battle Midori goes down and Momo defends him although she falls quickly too. Kendo Mask boasts about it and the two rangers run. Golden Mask arrives via Jeep and gives angry grunts. At the bar Taro reads a Gorenger manga. Yeah. That and Momo goes on about how they lost (is anyone else seeing a pattern to these episodes?). Some alarm goes off and they rush downstairs where the castle is flying around and launches a battler with the mask monster commanding it. The Varidreen and Varikyun engage it in combat. Kendo Mask fights Ki on the Varikyun, soon falling to the ground. Ao flies down, but fails and gets wounded by Kendo Mask's crescent boomerang. Aka appears to duel him while Ao and Ki fly back to their aircrafts. Aka manages to stab Kendo Mask with his whip in spear form, sending him down a rocky cliff until he decides to rescue the mask monster. Just as he pulls him up the ninja zolders show up and stab him in the shoulder much to his dismay.

Kendo Mask helps Aka up and prevents ninja zolders from gunning him down. Aka is grateful and Kendo Mask throws a fit at Golden Mask (how often have I typed "fit"?). Fuhrer seems amused until a zolder shoots him. Golden Mask orders a surgery on him that makes him psychotic as demonstrated in a rampage on an EAGLE base. Reminds me of Carnage from the 90s Spider-Man cartoon. Fuhrer is pleased and has a battler fight the Varidreen only for it to be claw bombed. Kendo Mask, on horse back, terrorizes the town on civilians. The Gorengers show up to do their intros while Kendo Mask flees and random assassins in Chinese attire attack with what I think are wakizashis although they are quickly disposed of. Ao also seems like a master duel swordsman, kiraboshi! Yes I just referenced Star Driver. Kendo Mask rejoins the battle, beating up Ki and deflecting projectiles. The Gorenger Hurricane is used once Aka's whip is cut, missing the mask monster. Once failed tackle later a second Gorenger Hurricane is used, turning into all of their secondary weapons until Aka's spear impales him. With his last words, Kendo Mask is glad he died honorably and uses the spear to commit senpaku. The mask monster's yami spear marks his grave and the rangers give a moment of silence facing the sunset. For those unaware a yami is a trident-like Japanese spear. Next episode shows Glasses Mask attacking.

Kendo Mask: Can survive high falls and teleport and is equipped with a yami spear that returns if thrown and a head crescent boomerang

Episode 74:

EAGLE troopers train with Golden Mask watching. He orders two zolders to launch a freezing gas grenade, killing them. Shortly after, Aka finds the gas container and radios Gonpachi about it. Ao whispers something to Ki and the Varidreen takes off with the Varikyun following. Meanwhile, Golden Mask tests more freezing gas on his underlings. The rangers meet Taro who is passing out maps with Aka being suspicious after talking to him about it. Aka goes around mapping the area, eventually forming a circle that finds the base Golden Mask froze earlier. Fuhrer and Golden Mask take notice, the former demanding something. Glasses Mask walks in- Oh wow, his short has an eye chart on it. Six zolders are given special glasses, soon fighting the rangers. Apparently these glasses enhance their reaction time (in slow motion), making them formidable while Glasses Mask laughs. Once zolder is missing from the fight for some reason. Glasses Mask jumps down and sprays them with freezing gas.

Aka, Momo, and Midori run while Ao and Ki try to find them. Glasses Mask tells Golden Mask something and Fuhrer seems surprised, sending out a battler and four condors. The Varidreen destroys one and Ao and Ki fight the mask monster's goon via ambushing his jeep. Likewise both rangers get whooped, even arrows are caught in midair. Ki barely manages to escape the freezing spray with Ao following. Fuhrer either throws a fit or is very happy, regardless he lost his indoor voice. Momo uses a fire to heal Ki's leg frost bite before the Gorengers go out to fight. Upon leading the zolders in a dark room Ao uses a camera flash to blind them so Aka whips the glasses off, reducing them to cannon fodder. One ranger time bomb later both Fuhrer and Golden Mask get royally POed while ranger intros and grunt beat down happen. Noticeably Momo got overpowered briefly. During Glasses Mask's attack Midori uses his boomerang to disarm him (manly pose included) and the other rangers tackle him. The Gorenger Hurricane follows, turning into an eye-chart with a message that blows him up. The rangers then look at the sunset before walking off. Episode 75:

Shortest plot synopsis I've made thus far

Stove Mask uses chemistry in front of Golden Mask and Fuhrer. Cut to an EAGLE base where Stove Mask has a squad of ninja zolders. Stove Mask turns into a stove and kills two guards one inside. He opens a gate, allowing a truck with zolders as EAGLE soldiers to.... I think drain something. Momo and Midori notice the base being under attack and contact the base. Shortly after they fight Stove Mask and his goons, the former managing to overpower them. Ao shoots two ninja zolders upon he and Ki arriving. The mask monster flees and they look around for him, eventually finding barrels. Momo radios Aka about it. After some discussion, Stove Mask appears that night to destroy an EAGLE truck. The next day at a gas station Aka notices ninja zolders and how all the gas in town it missing. So yeah, Stove Mask was stealing gas, Golden Mask seemed please about it. Aka, Momo, and Midori find Stove Mask at another station and he holds the attendant hostage. Upon letting go he makes a run for it with the three Gorengers following.

They soon lose the mask monster as Ao and Ki show up. In the streets people go nuts without gasoline. Ki uses a megaphone to get them to calm down and get collect all the stoves in town. Stove Mask is amused by it, eventually attacking a family in an apartment (after they yell at each other). The rangers take notice from outside as he holds them hostage. A SWAT team shows up, but ninja zolders slay them. He tells the rangers to flee as Aka exchanges himself for the family, eventually being caged. Aka is driven to a quary where Stove Mask has a ring of fire around him. The other Gorengers show up and use an extinguisher on the Green Star to put the fire out. Aka gets out, rangers intros and zolder beat down occurs, Ki gets kicked into a cliff, and the mask monster fails at keeping them back with his flamethrower staff (the fire disappears after he falls, odd). The Gorenger Hurricane is executed, turning into a gas tank before exploding (how fitting). Ki sneezes and Midori jokes about it before they ride off. Next episode shows Iron Spider Mask attacking with spiders on Momo.

Stove Mask: Can turn into his stove form and is equipped with a flamethrower staff.

Episode 76:

Children play at a park and Aka and Momo drive by being greeted. A spider watches them in a tree and we cut to two attacking EAGLE troopers at a base Momo is at (how close). After she swipes them off zolders and Iron Spider Mask appear only for Aka to use Savate on them. For those that do not know Savate is French kickboxing. Iron Spider Mask holds his own while ninja zolders neak around the base killing scientists, one set on fire from a green chemical they give to the mask monster. A battler attacks, allowing them to get away. Aka gets burnt and at the base Gonpachi shows the others some film reel about the chemical they stole. Looks like it makes lethal foam, everyone has an awe face over it. Skeletons are shown on a mountain side briefly. Momo gives Ao something to put in his teeth. Ki, Momo, and Midori climb the side of a mountain where Iron Spider Mask knows they are coming. One zolder beat up later Ao is radioed in, climbing up somewhere else. Ao is ambushed by Iron Spider Mask and his zolders who soon blindfold him. The others notice and are attacked with a pair of cannons, sending them down a hill with a rock slide. Ao is taken to their cave base and leaves a tracker, but the mask monster notices it. Iron Spider Mask whips him a little for interrogation, soon leaving the whipping to a zolder. It turns out said zolder and two others are the rangers in disguise. Said whipper is given a medal.

Iron Spider Mask locks the acid in a safe and kills three olders with his spider probes, Fuhrer follows up with a laugh. One of the zolders tosses Ao his tracker during a sweeping. However, one zolder guns two of them down at random and Golden Mask appears to drag Ao on a jeep before tying him to a cross. Ao refuses and is gunned down, but no before biting some pill. He seems dead and they toss him in a bag in a river (what a drop). He manages to break out and the other rangers help him out of the water. At the base he explains that a kevlar vest and a zolder on the inside helped him. Gonpachi walks in giving them a map before heading out in the Varidreen and soon after Varikyun. In the mountain base the mask monster produces a lot of the chemical and Ao drills into the wall, also the safe, just as Iron Spider Mask was going to get it. Outside Iron Spider Mask is on his jeep and the zolder helping Ao was Aka in disguise.... Wait he just went missing? Ranger intros and grunt slaughter occur (wow have ninja zolders fallen), Iron Spider Mask launches spider probes, Aka whips his antenna off, and the Gorenger Hurricane is executed as it turns into a spider web before blowing the mask monster up. Ki scares Momo with a toy spider at the end. Next episode shows Iron Snake Mask stalking women.

The penultimate time is upon us! Now with part 20!

Episode 77:

At night some guy drops his lady friend off. Shortly after. Iron Snake Mask gases her before neck biting. Her parents rush outside and off screen the mask monster does the same to them. Going to note now, Iron Snake Mask is female. Momo reads about it in the paper, including some memoir of the victim in question. The next night the same happens to some other girl. That morning Momo goes undercover as a high school student. She and some other girl (I don't have a name for the umpteenth time. I think it is Mikiko but I can't tell) are dropped off near the first victim's house. Momo notices someone watching in the walls. Other girl talks about something, I still barely understand Japanese. Outside the wall watchers are noticeable and the father of the first victim tells her to get lost (politely). Cut to school kids playing soccer, Momo interrupts the game to talk to them and they all run. She notices the wall watchers from before and a cop talks to her, I assume telling her to get out while she still can. At this point it is just her walking through town with people watching. Momo encounters other girl and that night Iron Snake Mask's stun gas is used. Soon it is revealed other girl was the mask monster in hallucination.... And she wakes up the next morning. Golden Mask complains she takes too long to do anything and Fuhrer is not amused.

Ki and Midori head out to help her at other girl's house. The soon enter an old house and find a hidden door into the basement. While exploring a fault happens, caving them in. Midori finds some radio signal and Iron Snake Mask shows up with a pair of zolders before gassing them. Momo finds the first victim under the floor and Iron Snake Mask is exposed. She attempts to bite her, but Aka shows up not a second too soon. Upon the mask monster fleeing the Varidreen fights a battler as Iron Snake Mask commands it from the ground. After the battler is destroyed the Varidreen lands with the Varitank heading out, taking out a squad of zolders. Meanwhile, Ki moves enough rocks to make a way out and the Varitank picks them up. It is hard to tell what happens after that because the rest of the video is a giant audio/pixilated loop. Seriously, I found another video of the episode and it had the identical problem. Bunny Hat (or any raw provider) if you're reading this please help if you get the chance. I think what happens is that the rangers surround Iron Snake Mask, do their intros, beat up ninja zolders, and Iron Snake Mask attacks with a whip before the Gorenger Hurricane is used on her, blowing her up upon turning into a spray can. The video eventually clears, but is horribly out of synch. Next episode shows Mammoth Mask attacking like a dog.

Iron Snake Mask: Can release red stun gas from mouth and use a human disguise and is equipped with a whip

Episode 78:

On a foggy day a TV tower fails to work because Mammoth Mask as a zolder pointing a dish at it. Aka, Ao, and Midori find it odd. Meanwhile, EAGLE troopers are training with Ki and Momo supervising. Soon zolders attack with guns and both sides rush to each other, for once the red shirts can hold their own. After their defeat Golden Mask shows a map to Fuhrer about his next plan. Mammoth Mask walks in for elaboration. A battler launches, attacking an EAGLE base (how many bases do they have?). Once the Varidreen is in sight Mammoth Mask uses the dish from earlier to mess with its controls. The trooper trainer holds his own until the mask monster impales him with a huge shuriken, a zolder puts some blue clay on his face. Ki and Momo take out the mask monster's squad and he acts like a dog or rabbit or something. Whatever he is, he rams into Ki, sending him flying and they capture him. Cut to Ki being interrogated via electric chair before being thrown into a cell. The EAGLE trainer from earlier is thrown into a cell just across from his. Ki soon bends the bars and breaks out, doing the same to the trainer's. At the castle Golden Mask gives Mammoth Mask orders as he turns into the EAGLE trainer, Fuhrer seems annoyed.

At the base the others seem worried. They get a radio signal from Ki (I think). Cut to a restaurant where Ki and not-trainer order stuff. Butter on ribs? REALLY? Then again I like chicken sandwiches with jelly. Aka soon shows up and they ride off to some facility although not-trainer is blindfolder (he leaves a card trail though). After finding the base he summons five ninja zolders, Aka and Ki note it on the roof knowing something was up. Mammoth Mask has his zolders move out and a battler launches with the Varidreen intercepting it with claw bombs. Once the ninja zolders realized they were fooled, Aka laughs on a rooftop. The Gorengers show up for intros, beat up the ninja zolders (more show up.... somehow), Ki gets out muscled again by the mask monster, and Mammoth Mask soon gets ganged up on. Once Ki out wrestles him the Gorenger Hurricane is initiated (with scenery changing), using a cannon to freeze Mammoth Mask in snow before blowing him up. They look into the sunset for respect of the fallen troopers. Next episode shows Skate Mask and ninja zolders playing hockey with the Gorenger Hurricane.

Mammoth Mask: Can use a human disguise and execute a charge attack and is equipped with a tusk staff and tusk shurikens

Episode 79:

Aka patrols on the Red Star. During a red light he sees a guy choking, soon turning into a skeleton. He notices some woman being nonchalant and follows. Aka gets caught in some snow and Skate Mask shows up with ninja zolders armed with iron claws. As he is being whipped by the mask monster the Red Star gets him out of the ice, allowing him to transform and fight. Skate Mask escapes via junkyard pipe. At the Gorenger base Aka tells Gonpachi what happened. Meanwhile, Momo, Midori, and Taro try to get Ki to skate as he keeps flopping. Soon a skeleton falls on top of Ki, frightening everyone. Somewhere else the same happens to the pilot of a small plane. In a photo Midori took during the skating session Aka notices the woman from earlier. After some discussion he walks around town for eyewitnesses, eventually spotting her at a public pool. During this two citizens (one is Ki in disguise) walk around and talk about whatever, I think they're burglars as they steal lingerie and bras from some house. Nope, not kidding, that happened. Aka tracks her to a gym and nearly gets killed via weightlifting as some guy tries to dump a large barbell on him. The crook takes a suicide pill just as Ao catches him.

At the base they talk about the lack of leads. Aka and Momo eventually find her again, trailing her on a bus and around town. That night she manages to get away and in an apartment goes down a trap door into a basement with a lab. She contacts someone named Black Shadow (this is not Kikaider 01) who is actually Skate Mask. Fuhrer's temper is nearly lost because he finds out about her being trailed. The next day the Gorengers are in a skating competition where mystery woman watches on with a medical mask. Once they rest she gives them tablets and Aka gets a call from Gonpachi. Aka catches onto her and prevents his teammates from being poisoned (those poor goldfish). A zolder attacks, allowing her to run, but Skate Mask kills her. After doing so the ranger intros and ninja zolder smack down happen complete with scenery changing. The Gorenegers pursue the mask monster on skates while beating up more ninja zolders. A hockey version of the Gorenger Hurricane is executed and man is it silly. One giant snowball transformation later it blows up Skate Mask. It also turns out mystery woman was a cyborg. Insert one last silly skate scene here. Next episode shows Iron Tiger Mask attacking.

Skate Mask: Can spawn ice, throw head blades, and turn into a skate and is equipped with a whip

Episode 80:

Zolders stalk an EAGLE base with Momo inside. Some boy looks at a picture of him and his father, who is on a geologist mission Aka is supervising. Suddenly, Iron Tiger Mask attacks the geologist, Ki and Midori pop out for a surprise attack. It is safe to assume the EAGLE troopers failed horribly. Ao uses the Varikyun to get Ki and the geologist out of the area and Iron Tiger Mask pursues via jeep. At the base Momo is at two (later three) zolders gun their way in (how terrible are these red shirts?). Momo and the boy escape from the zolders and Iron Tiger Mask thanks to surprise smokescreen and a secret passage. She takes him into the Varitank and drives off with Iron Tiger Mask noticing outside. Three nina zolder masks sneak aboard, but Aka beats them.... I know I should not say the last word as an innuendo would be made doing so. Anyway, the boy falls ill and Momo tells Ao about it via radio. Iron Tiger Mask has two zolders dig a trap with a third failing to put it on as they drive by. Iron Tiger Mask kills him by accident. Meanwhile, Ao and Ki take the Varidreen to find them, soon encountering a battler. Eventually the Varitank runs out of gas.... Never thought I'd see that. Shortly after stopping Iron Tiger Mask has his zolders gunning the tank. During this he somehow broadcasts the situation to their base and the geologist (looking at a rock I might add) says "screw off" or something. After that the zolders use torches under the Varitank to smoke them out.

Ao, Ki, and Midori sneak onto the battlefield via fake boulders. They bring the Varitank gas while dodging gunfire. Fuhrer seems displeased and Golden Mask has a battler launched. The Varitank, after somehow switchign claws, burrows underground. One shot leaks some gas that drains over half the tank. The zolders, somehow knowing, hammer ina giant poll on top of it where Iron Tiger Mask announces he is coming. Man can he talk a long time. At that point the Varitank goes above ground in another direction, but only a claw is showing. At the base geologist guy seems worr- Wait, why are those three back? Should they not still be out there? Regardless, they have geologist guy do some tough decision. Upon pulling out the claw they find out it was attached to nothing and the Varitank arrives behind them. Aka gives him a talk down that makes the mask monster angry. The Varidreen shows up and fires at the castle, making it run (did they not have a barrier?). Geologist and son are reunited and the Gorengers go on the defensive with intros and grunt beat down. Ki holds his own against Iron Tiger Mask with Aka whipping his fangs off. As the mask monster flees they use the Gorenger Hurricane, turning into a ball of yarn that explodes. It almost makes you feel bad for the guy. Next episode shows Kettle Mask attacking and shots of Midori.

Episode 81:

Okay, THIS is the shortest plot synopsis thus far.

EAGLE troopers train with Midori teaching them. During a break Midori gets dizzy. Kettle Mask shows up from his kettle disguise and shoots him in the leg while gunning everyone else. At a military tribunal Midori is believed to be the one that killed everyone as he is framed with a box of rare bullets. Something about microfilm is mentioned. A trainer Midori was with, who helped Kettle Mask in framing him, lies to the tribunal about Midori. He is eventually taken away in cuffs. Zolders gun down his convoy with Kettle Mask emitting poison steam before taking them. The rangers follow, but a kettle with steam stops them. Midori tries escaping, eventually doing so by jumping down a cliff and into a creek. After Midori loses them Kettle Mask and his squad go on a rampage, destroying an EAGLE base. The Gorengers try heading out, but Gonpachi stops them. Midori calls them via pay phone saying how Kettle Mask confessed to framing him and Gonpachi tells him to stay put.

A battler and zolders attack the town. Fuhrer and Golden Mask laugh while Midori is on the run with a limp. He is eventually found by his.... I think his mom, I don't know. Midori soon contacts Ao on another pay phone. Soon he finds the trainer the betrayed him, eventually getting him to confess. The trainer is killed via sword throw as Kettle Mask shows up and he says sorry to Midori. Kettle Mask tells him to stop complaining and after the ranger transforms (and the environment changes), ninja zolders hold him in place. The other Gorengers show up to save him. Intros and ninja zolder massacre occurs, Midori holds his own against the mask monster, and the Gorenger Hurricane is used on him, blowing Kettle Mask up after turning into a pot. Cut to a preschool Midori's mom is teaching where he is amused by the children. After some smiles they ride off. Next episode shows Yo-yo Mask fighting Momo.

Kettle Mask: Can turn into his kettle form and emit poison steam and is equipped with a spear

Episode 82:

Momo goes to a magic show, sad and alone. She gets a call from some woman about something. Sometime later the magician uses a yo-yo to create a lot of smoke where Momo and the woman are meeting up. He traps the woman in a phone booth before strangling her with his yo-yo. Cut to Gonpachi being worried and the other rangers head out. Momo finds her necklace near the phone booth and heads into a haunted house with the magician inside. After she thinks she finds the body Aka, Ki, and Midori arrive, but her body goes missing. Aka spots wax statues of the Gorengers with knives in them and get caught via dropdown cage door. One revolving door later the magician locks them in before revealing his true form of Yo-yo Mask. Said room is placed on a truck with them inside. Once it stops yo-yos are sent through the room walls. Momo uses a weak stick of dynamite to blow the door down and they transform. Just before anyone attacks Ao shows up in the Varidreen and shoots the zolders down only for ninja zolders to appear. Apparently mask monsters can withstand direct blows from aircraft missiles. Yo-yo Mask releases yo-yo bombs, each one color coordinated with each ranger. Aka notices they stop upon ditching the ranger outfits although Ki gets injured. Aka experiments with his yo-yo bomb and notices they follows basic colors, such as his following red. Momo brings up the woman she was supposed to meet with.

Aka and Momo return to the haunted house, finding her in a coffin. Aka smells black residue on her fingers, apparently she left a number to call on a table with it. Aka and Momo go to an apartment and find an answering machine. At the castle Yo-yo Mask talks about a super computer and Golden Mask takes interest while Fuhrer tells him to get it. Yo-yo Mask finds the building the two rangers were in and they soon see him preparing a magic show. In Yo-yo Mask's crates are rockets rather than props. Momo shows up at the fake show and the mask monster shows her the tricks (note, Yo-Yo Mask does not know his magician disguise has been blown). She gets into a box (the room goes dark for some reason) and zolders impale the box with rapiers. However, with trapdoor trickery she avoids it and the other rangers show up with Gonpachi controlling a spotlight. Said spotlight prevents the yo-yo bombs from hitting them. Once Yo-yo Mask is outside the ranger intros and ninja zolder slamming is done, complete with yo-yos as weapons. No, really, both Gorengers and ninja zolders use them. After Momo beats Yo-Yo Mask up the Gorenger Hurricane is used, turning into a giant yo-yo before destroying the mask monster. Next episode shows Tiger Mask attacking Momo.

Yo-yo Mask: Can use a human disguise, create fog from a yo-yo, launch five head yo-yo bombs, and turn into his yo-yo form

Episode 83:

Momo and Midori escorts a care to an EAGLE base. Tiger Mask (not to be confused with Iron Tiger Mask) jumps out of the bushes to beat down troopers and almost kills the old guy from the car. Midori gets hurt chasing after him and Momo saves him. With old guy in the hospital Gonpachi wonders what the next course of action is. Aka heads to a base to meet scieentists to talk about the Black Cross Castle's barrier. Cut to Tiger Mask talking to Golden Mask about something. The rangers see Tiger Mask and head out. During this Momo finds her trainer, who was supposed to be dead by Poison Mask in the first episode. Remember when the Black Cross Army was subtle in its hideout locations? Anyway, Momo is taken to his apartment for tea (note this is where Tiger Mask called Golden Mask). Her tea was drugged and upon passing out her trainer puts headphones on her to activate some sound torcher I think. She passes out and the castle launches a battler with the Varidreen attacking. Tiger Mask and his goons raid a pair of EAGLE bases complete with stock footage. Momo wakes up in a bed and reads a letter. During this a squad of condors attack the Varidreen with one being shot down. Aka and Midori make it to the base to find Tiger Mask and see that plans to deactivate the barrier have been raided except for a capsule in the hands of one of the dead scientists. Golden Mask tells Fuhrer not to worry. Momo makes it back to base and collapses briefly while examinine the capsule.

Momo returns to the apartment, sneaking in and finding Tiger Mask's secret radio. Cut to Aka and Ki picking someone up from an airport while Tiger Mask, while in disguise, tries to snipe them, successfully killing the picked up guy. Momo told him it was all a trap and Ki reveals it was just a dummy. Momo shoots Tiger Mask in the right arm with heartbreak. Once the mask monster ditches the disguise his zolders appear. The other rangers suddenly appear, intros and zolder smack down included. Tiger Mask runs while summoning ninja zolders from his cloak. Well technically they do teleport so it is not too illogical, but still weird. Midori takes on five at once with backflips, sort of a comical moment. Tiger Mask summons a broadsword and duels with Momo who eventually snaps his sword. Aka and Ao save her once he starts spewing fire. The Gorenger Hurricane is executed, blowing up Tiger Mask after it turns into a bear trap (and the scenery changes). Momo has Aka throw the capsule that once belonged to her trainer and she looks into the sunset. Next episode shows Fuhrer fighting the Gorengers himself.

Tiger Mask: Can use a human disguise, jump high, and emit mouth flames called the Tiger Fire and is equipped with a broadsword

Episode 84:

Golden Mask sees a star globe and talks about the Cassiopeia contellation in front of Fuhrer. During the conversation I think Golden Mas stepped out of bounds, but Golden Mask vows to destroy them. Cut to the rangers riding through a quary where zolders (both kinds), Golden Mask, and Fuhrer greet them. The Gorengers do their intros and Fuhrer jumps from a cliff to fight them. He gives some dialogue about how he is invincible and none of their weapons work. He is also really strong, Ki flies from a mere slap. The rangers start tiring and the Black Cross Army applauds. The Gorenger Hurricane is used, turning into a guillotine that decapitates him.... Only to reattach! So yeah, Fuhrer has reformation powers like a werewolf or something. He then emits.... Five electric strings from his neck that shock the rangers. Golden Mask hands Fuhrer a sword while they are on the ground. As he points it at Aka he falls down and his body retracts into his head. Golden Mask has him planted in a box for protection as the rays of Cassopeia have weakened him. Golden Mask defends his master with his life, taking on the rangers at once (he does not even land a punch). Aka spears him and and Golden Mask turns into golden dust with the zolders retreating. Said powder turns into a trail (later dubbed Golden Rainbow) over Tokyo with Ki and Taro noting. A zolder tells Fuhrer, now okay, about the trail and the castle flies to it. The rangers talk about how to defeat Fuhrer and Ki walks in talking about the Golden Rainbow.

Upon a zolder locating the base's general area the castle bombs the hell out of Tokyo and ninja zolders attack EAGLE solders left and right. Three of them even trash the base underground. Cut to hours later with the rangers in Gonpachi standing over their destroyed base. Lots of talking until Aka to a quary with a suitcase. He is taken to the Fuhrer as they discuss his alien origins. They open the suitcase which emits rays from his home constellation and Aka radios the others in. He is then tied to a cross about to be fired on when Ao shoots the shooters. Man do zolders and ninja zolders get beaten up including Golden Mask's two elite guards.... Who do themselves in. They use a special Gorenger Hurricane, this one turning into a flaming W filled with the cosmic rays, forcing Fuhrer to run. They corner him at his base, Aka impales his body but the head detaches and turns into the Black Cross Castle.... Uh, what? I mean this would explain how he got it under the pyramids and all but still. The rangers comment on it and use the Varidreen to storm inside with gratuitous stock footage of the raid on Navarone. The castle is destroyed and the rangers and Gonpachi look into the sunset saluting. The final shot is of the Cassopeia constellation.



Verdict: I really enjoyed this series! Needed more build up to the finale, compressed (this did not need to be 84 episodes), not have side characters disappear, and.... Yeah that is the gist of my complaints. Coming in the future is JAKQ!:castlerock:
