The age of explosions has begun with what many fans call the last of the goofy sentai series better known as Dynaman.

"Should I even ask?"

There will still be nicknames and monster of the week analyses.

"How will this be broken up?"

Like with Denziman 17 parts with 3 episodes each.

"And opinions will be when?"

After episodes 8, 33, and the end of the series.

"Anything unique here?"

Supposedly this series was going to be a baseball motif called Leaguer-V and ended up not happening.

"Other than behind the scenes?"

Based on what little I have read fans think either this series or Bioman is what started the "dark/serious" sentai series all the way to Jetman before Zyuranger made it light hearted again or something.

"Why not mention the old English dub?"

Because most fans are aware of that and I cannot find it on YouTube.

"Will Bioman be next?"

I hope so, I am going to try to make these updates slower because GUIS has not been subbing them recently and I doubt it'll be finished by the time I catch up.

Episode 1:

A volcano erupts with hikers in the area who run away. Wow they're pulling out all the special effects at the time. After the Evilution Empire looks atop of a hill we cut to some school girl running from Crab Shinka who nabs her by having his eye pop out and seal her in. It bounces to a truck that drives off with a motorcyclist chasing after it with some chick telling him to follow. The motorcyclist follows the truck while dodging random machine guns and grenade throwers. Some capture eyes are released from the truck when it stops and the school girl is freed thanks to ninja woman. A bunch of men in black sweaters and pants attack with a random martial artist jumping into help. Other capture eyes open up with two more men showing up to help the motorcyclist. Martial arts guy then leads some guys in black to a forest thanks to random editing and shows off ninja moves. Some random guy in blue fights them on a beach with a guy in a yellow shirt and jean jacket fights them in a desert with all the choppy editing. Eventually the guys in black are revealed to be tail soldiers. So much jumping around and they soon stun the heroes with their daggers complete with ground surges. Take note folks, the heroes without their suits are being defeated by grunts. Crab Shinka shows up and uses some eye flashes to force them into the nearby water. During this the Grangizmo emerges from the nearby volcano with Kar telling Aton everything is going according to plan or something in it. Megiddo volunteers to help Kar with his plan and Aton approves. Later, the motorcyclist goes to some empty preschool where the other people that helped him earlier all show up. A large toy robot named Kendo Robot comes out to greet them as does Dr. Yumenp Kyuutarou, the latter of whom arrives in via a toy train. He says they were all chosen after he has the kids exit the building. Gadgets go off and everyone goes down a chute to a secret lab. Here the doctor tells them about the Dynaman project. Meanwhile, the Grangizmo fires rockets from the side of its hull to terminate a launch site because evilness. Megiddo leads Crab Shinka and tail soldiers to attack the survivors with his mooks bombing the place with grenades. The doctor shows them this on a monitor and says that the Evilution Empire is rising from beneath the Earth for world conquest and his Dynasuits will be necessary to fight them. The five agree and are given wrist devices that turn them into Dynamen. The five head out in the Dyjupiter and take off.

Grangizmo flies around with a tail soldier reporting in. Dyjupiter comes very close to the fortress and rockets go off. Dyjupiter retaliates with dyna missiles from the wings and Grangizmo launches a squad of eight gizmosquitos (for some reason SuperSentai.com forgot to mention these things exist). They fire blue lasers, but Dyjupiter shoots them down with missiles before beaming down the team to Megiddo's position with explosions. Red tells him they are Dynaman with everyone doing their intros, each name sparking an explosion behind them before one big one behidn them to finish it. Goggle-V may have started the tradition, but Dynaman makes it standard. Megiddo sends the tail soldiers out and get beaten up as soon as the team jumps down.... Also causing an explosion. The fight takes place in several different locations somehow, thanks Toei editing! Also Pink acts like Cutey Honey by using a not-Silver Fleurette. Also Red can wield with two swords like Tauburn from Star Driver. After more explosions Red duels with Megiddo on his horse before Crab Shinka starts using eye flashes. This causes Megiddo to fight Red one on one and gets a tail sliced off. His two body guards emit explosive flashes from their swords before taking off. After Dynaman flying kick's Crab Shinka they use the Super Dynamite on him which consists of energy encasing, ramming, and color smoke stock footage from Goggle-V. However, Crab Shinka instead grows gigantic and attacks. Dyjupiter is called upon to emerge from black smoke like other carriers before it. The team boards it and acts like a tank while being attacked. Red takes off in Dyna Mach to fire some laser from above the cockpit. Black and Blue join in by launching missiles from the Dyna Mobile. Yellow and Pink take the Dyna Garry out so the vehicles can combine into DR who arrives in armored trooper style (hooray VOTOMS reference). Like SVR from Sun Vulcan the prop's proportions do not match up to the suit well. DR uses its fists followed by the Beat Hammer which is a hammer and a mace both connected on a chain. The Dynaboomerang is used, charging with energy before striking Crab Shinka. After that DR jumps into the air, pulls out the Science Sword, and uses the Lightning Gravitational Fall (I know they said plasma during their call) to destroy Crab Shinka in an explosion. Kar curses them and Grangizmo heads underground via a fissure the volcano made earlier. Next episode shows Rhino Shinka attacking and the team running from explosions.

Episode 2:

Grangizmo comes out of the volcano with Aton getting angry at everyone with Kar saying they will win this time. The Progressor Machine activates some life soup which finds an animal to base the next monster off of and out comes Rhino Shinka. Cut to the base (yes I know it is called the Yumeno Invention Center) where the good doctor talks about a meteor that crashed to Earth in the paleolithic age. This caused some lizards to evolve into the Evilution Empire. In a city a random explosion rivaling napalm happens and it turns out to be gizmosquitos coming from underground. Dyjupiter goes out to terminate them as they destroy skyscrapers. Red takes off in the Dyna Mach and dodges lasers before laser firing of his own (his is different because they are shaped like arrow heads instead of beams!). Black and Blue assist him in the Dyna Mobile and go missile happy, which fends them off. The Dynamen investigates the crash site of the fighters and out comes Rhino Shinka and the tail soldiers. Megiddo arrives on the battlefield demanding revenge for Red cutting of his tail.... Can't they reattach it? They clearly retrieved it. During the rematch, Kira and Geel fend off the others. Megiddo somehow makes the area go dark and nearly kills Red, but the volcano nearby erupts to prevent this. A rock slide divides both sides and later Aton scolds his son although he gives him another chance. At the preschool the kids run around with Pink taking care of some dog. The rest of the team talks about themselves a bit with poor Kendo Robot smoking up the place. Later, the team exercises in a gymnasium. Red is disappointed in himself for nearly losing, but Black is willing to teach him. They both sword fight and Red wins. Yumeno walks in says they should not be over confident and whatnot. The team puts their hands together and he approves.

Megiddo gives a monologue near the volcano because.... Well whatever the reason, the Dynamen comes down like meteors for their intros and beat up tail soldiers. Noticeably their boots have jets in them (that does explain the jump down explosions last episode). Wow is the wire work in this series top notch. The team uses their dyna rods to use various attacks like fire, blinding flashes, a whirlpool, lightning, and music which turns ears into balloons.... WHAT!? The team uses their boots to do a power run called the Dyna Mach before we see Red and Megiddo rematch while Kira and Geel fight Black.... Who becomes two guys. Soon Red beats Megiddo who runs off. Rhino Shinka attempts to fight the team only for the Dynamen to use the Rod Beam (using their dyna rods all at once) followed by the Super Dynamite. However, Rhino Shinka grows and Dyjupiter comes out by Red's command. The team is beamed up and it lands so Dyna Mach can go out to distract Rhino Shinka. Dyna Mobile follows only to get kicked- Why does Rhino Shinka sound like an elephant? Anyway, get gets missile'd and laser'd by both followed by Dyna Garry ramming him down at the foot. After that the three vehicles become DR. Both get physical with the Dyna Shield blocking and the Dyna Knuckle being a not-Iron Cutter from Mazinger Z. One Dyna Jump later DR uses the Lightning Gravitation Fall is used to destroy Rhino Shinka. Also, I am just calling it the Fall from now on because it is quicker to type. The episode ends with Kendo Robot teaching two kids kendo. Next episode shows Bat Shinka attacking with smoke that turns faces black and green.

Rhino Shinka: Powers include a right hand launchable mace called the Sai Missile with a sword form, size changing, and three head horns

Episode 3:

Aton throws a fit at everyone while the Grangizmo is in the volcano. Kar proposes they make a new monster and out of the Progressor Machine comes Bat Shinka. Cut to Red working on his motorcycle when the others and the kids come over to watch. Pink explains to the kids how hard he is working and whatnot. He soon takes off leaving a lot of smoke which he notices as he rides through town and nobody liking it. He soon crashes into a junkyard with everyone coming to his aid. He comes out of the wreckage as comically as you might expect. Meanwhile, Bat Shinka flies around emitting smoke which turns people's faces green with black stripes like the tail soldiers. The Dynamen lead everyone to some underground shelter. The locals complain about Red's smoke being the cause of the mess because people are sometimes dumb. Bat Shinka is seen and the Dynamen head off to fight him. Tail soldiers burrow up and unlike their first appearance they do not fair well and are easily defeated. Bat Shinka flies off and the Dynamen follow with their vehicles. Eventually he flies over the ocean while the remaining towns people panic. Kar shows this on a monitor saying how effective his plan is to Aton.

At the preschool the kids are sad about their parents with Kendo Robot trying to cheer them up. The Dynamen think of what to do next by.... looking through ticker tape from the computer. Something comes up and Black gets an idea that Dr. Yumeno likes. The heroes head to the volcano where they ambush a tail soldier disguised as a medieval villager and knock him out. Megiddo greets the team soon after with an actual squad. Bat Shinka comes out of a cave during the fight and Red leaves his duel with Megiddo to fight him. He then has Dyjupiter launch as the rest of the team gets easily beaten by the prince. Red takes off in the Dyna Mach to shoot Bat Shinka down. Suddenly the heroes meteor down to a hill to do their intros and lay the smackdown on more grunts complete with their vehicles ramming them down. Bat Shinka charges in and uses his powers only for Red to fight him off followed by the Super Dynamite. Bat Shinka grows and flies around while the team heads for Dyjupiter. Dyna Mach- Screw it I am dropping the Dyna portion of the vehicle names because it is quicker to type. Anyway, Mach, Mobile, and Garry launch and form form into DR. After it rolls in, DR withstands Bat Shinka's wing missiles before using the Dyna Shield followed by the Dyna Knuckle. After the Dynaboomerang knocks Bat Shinka down DR use the Dynamic Jump and Fall to terminate Bat Shinka in a fiery boom. At the underground shelter the Dynamen come to spray everyone with something that turns them normal. The episode ends with everyone friendly walking off. Next episode shows Trilobite Shinka attacking with a fight in a theme park.

Bat Shinka: Powers include flight, face altering converting smoke from the rear, wing missiles, blinding eye flashes, a mouth energy beam, size changing, and an energy tornado formed from the wings.

Ultraman Leo jumps into the Crunchyroll license collective! Speaking of dynamic martial arts in tokusatsu here is part 2!

Episode 4:

At Grangizmo Kar has Trilobite Shinka spawned from the Progressor Machine. Kar tells Aton about how awesome his new creation is. Cut to Yellow eating ramen at a theme park telling the cook it is good. He walks off after dropping a chopstick and dances a bit when Trilobite Shinka teleports behind him and attackks. Technically he should be invisible, but Yellow clearly walked over him without issue. After Yellow is frozen from some mouth mist we see the others attending to the preschoolers wanting their dang ramen. A clock goes off signaling an emergency. Upon dropping into the lab the Dynamen head out to find Yellow. Meanwhile, Trilobite Shinka starts freezing random people before the heroes jump in from a rollercoster because that is awesome. Tail soldiers join in from appearing around the park. Man this stunt work is impressive. Black uses some shower attack which I have no idea what it does, sprinkle fire crackers? Trilobite Shinka manages to fend the team off with his e=ice powers as Dr. Yumeno still tries to get a hold of Yellow. Megiddo, Kira, and Geel prepare for battle with the prince sharpening his cutlass, but the fight moves on. Trilobite Shinka manages to get away. At Grangizmo Megiddo tells Kar they are nabbing people including Yellow from a hospital and Aton approves. At a lab the frozen people are thawed out to be interrogated where Yellow is. The discussion continues at the lab.

The team sets out to find Yellow again by looking around the park. Black soon finds his ramen bowl and then him, but Kira, Geel, and Megiddo locate his frozen body and carry it off. Black jumps on their truck which eventually parks in an bandoned roadway. In the base Yellow is soon thawed out unaware what is going on. Outside the Dynamen lure Megiddo and his goons out while Black saves Yellow and the civilians. Once out Megiddo is surprised everyone escaped. Following this are the explosive intros and tail soldiers getting whomped. Trilobite Shinka joins in and uses his ice encasing powers only for dynarod beams and Yellow's maces to stun him before using the Super Dynamite. Trilobite Shinka grows big and Red calls Dyjupiter which Dr. Yumeno has launch. Somehow the Dynamen enter by turning into light. Anyway, Mach, Mobile, and Garry (because I am dropping the Dyna portions of their names to type quicker) are sent out and DR is formed. Both giants get physical with melee assaults, exchanging blows. Trilobite Shinka is fended off by the Duna Hammer followed by a beam of rings from its torso called the Dyna Flash. DR has enough of Trilobite Shinka's nonsense and destroys him with the Fall. The episode ends with the preschoolers playing with what I think is an intellivision and Yellow serving them ramen with a weird serving machine that serves nuts and flour; even Kendo Robot found the failure funny. Next episode shows a fire ball, the Universal Horror Monsters line, Tapir Shinka with some box, and the team in goth make up.

Trilobite Shinka: Powers include teleportation, invisibility, freezing mouth mist, explosive eye flashes, ice encasing, size changing, twin head whips that emit electric surges, and a ball form

Episode 5:

Kar has Tapir Shinka spawn from the Transgressor Machine, one should notice the classy music in the background. After that Tapir Shinka wears pink pajamas in some dark house and goes to bed with the Evilution Empire watching on a screen. This somehow causes a boy to have nightmares about the Universal Monsters (I assume Tien from Dragonball is supposed to be the Invisible Man? The skeleton and Bride of Frankenstein seems out of place). During the day the kids are attacked by the monsters until the Dynamen show up- wait, they were tail soldiers in disguise? Anyway, the heroes chase after them to a brick house where they hear Tapir Shinka snoring. They break into his room where he wakes up and jumps out the window with some machine which looks like a box of cigarettes. Turns out it is a drum which causes illusions and so random samurais and cowboys show up to fight them. Each hero cakes on a respective opponent. Blue has a very quirky fast motion fight with a ninja wielding sais. After each battle ens in a draw the historical figures blow up and Megiddo jumps in saying he is winning this battle. His falcata causes explosions before we cut to the preschool where the team looks after the kids. Red thinks to himself that they have to win soon. That night Tapir Shinka goes to sleep and turns some little girl's flower dream into an inferno. She wakes up frightened.

In the lab the team tries figuring out what to do when Red gets an idea. At a waterfall Tapir Shinka is given some letter about the Dynamen that he throws away in a fit quite comically. That night he sleeps under a bridge for some reason. The little girl from before dreams about the Dynamen fighting the historical figures again. The historical squad easily fends them off and the battle ends with them blowing off and the dreamer waking up sad. This fight happens again, this time withe heroes taking the disguises of their assassins and fighting off tail soldiers with their historical weapons. Blue acting like Bruce Lee was amusing as was Yellow's shoot out. After that the heroes stand on a hill, transform, and do their intros and used the Mach Dash on Tapir Shinka. This is followed by Dyna Punches and the Super Dynamite. Tapir Shinka grows so his kicks cause explosions and Dyjupiter comes in at Red's command followed by Mach, Mobile, and Garry combining into DR. Tapir Shinka wastes no time charging in with both of the titans going punch happy, but DR fights back with his weapons before finishing him with the Fall. The episode ends with the team sleeping ubtil Blue jumps out of his hammock. Next episode shows an earthquake, Snake Shinka attacking, and people in a jail cell.

Tapir Shinka: Powers include nightmare spreading, an illusion spawning drum, snot bombs, and size changing

Episode 6:

Blue and Yellow hike with the former being too tired to continue. They see some boy walking along so they talk to him. Suddenly an earthquake occurs at a small school nearby which is apparently where the boy was before he got split up from his group. Cut the the Grangizmo where Kar comes up with a battle strategy on a map while expelling his plan which I do not know because I WISH I KNEW JAPANESE! Blue and Yellow eventually lead the boy back to his school which is empty save for the class pets. His teacher shows up, but something is off and he takes the boy hostage. Blue gets nabbed by Snake Shinka and bitten with Yellow fighting off tail soldiers. The venom from Snake Shinka allows him to sick Blue on Yellow. Are you not entertained? Yellow eventually punches his gut to knock him out before transforming. He gives some speech before giving the mooks some knuckle sandwiches, but Snake Shinka kicks him down a hill. At the preschool Pink shows the kids a white mouse while Black swings on the indoor set before the clock announces an emergency. Dr. Yumeno tells them about the situation and they head off. Meanwhile, Yellow tries running from Snake Shinks while fighting tail soldiers. Snake Shinka whips Yellow a bit and I think this is where they came up with Viper Whip from Gear Fighter Dendoh. Anyway, the others show up and before the fight continues Yellow informs Red about Blue. At a cave Yellow has Blue restrained with chains and a cleave gag (why the latter?) as he looks at some rocks because I do not know. Dr. Yumeno uses his monitor to see some random animal skull nearby so Yellow runs for it while the others fight the tail soldiers. Nice comic panel shot here.

Snake Shinka faces off with Red, Black, and Pink before Yellow spot the weird skull- wait, those were berries? Anyway, Megiddo, Kira, and Geel show up to send him off a cliff, unaware he managed to grab onto it. The others soon spot him and Black jumps up to save him beccause ninjitsu. Red notices the bone white berries and later Blue is forced to eat them which turns him back to normal. Soon Blue wonders around and the tail soldiers catch him.Snake Shinka leads them to the cave base and shoves him in a jail cell with all the children from the school who look stoned out. Blue gives them the white berries while the teacher is forced to mine for them. Snake Shinka walks outside where the Dynamen show up on a cliff. Blue manages to blow up the lab equipment in the cave and free everyone before transforming followed by intros and the whooping of the tail soldiers. First intro so far not to have them comet down in explosions. Snake Shinka uses some weird stun powder before Red duels with him complete with random slow motion. Blue and Yellow use their dynarod weapons to stun Snake Shinka followed by flying kicks and the Super Dynamite. Snake Shinka grows and Red calls for Dyjupiter. The team beams up so DR can be used upon launching Mach, Mobile, and Garry. Arm flailing for the win! DR tanks Snake Shinka's assaults with the Dyna Hammer making him dizzy long enough to terminate him via the Fall. The episode ends with the kids and teacher thanking the Dynamen with a pinky promise. Next episode shows Sponge Shinka attacking a gas station and Red attacking tail soldiers with a stick.

Neo Ultra Q and the anime version of Barom One got their first episodes subbed! Hopefully it will not be reduced to that like Dynaman so lets get into part 3!

Episode 7:

Red wears some body army while riding his Suzuki motorcycle with a boy timing him. I guess this was before dirty biking became mainstream. After about two minutes of riding around we cut to Grangizmo where Kar demands the Progressor Machine- Actually screw it I am calling it the Prog from now on since that is quicker to type. Anyway, the Prog creates Sponge Shinka. After that Red drops the kid off at a gas station where his father is the manager. Some motorcycle scrubbing is done while talking and Red notices the dad said something off. Meanwhile, Sponge Green sends some green balls from his mouth that are sent into a sewer and absorb all of the gasoline from the stations around town. It is the town and not just the street as we see at the lab (yes I know it is technically an invention center). During this, Kar either scolds or congratulates Sponge Shinka, with that tone it is a tad hard to tell. Sponge Shinka then uses his balls to blow up a couple of random buildings around town because he is a dick. Red shows up to teach him a lesson, but the tail soldiers become obstacles. I just noticed these grunts use swords. Sponge Shinka stuns Red with some explosive kunais, but his team saves him and they all attack at once. Sponge Shinka eventually escapes the Dynamen drive around town to find him. At Grangizmo Kar shows Aton on a screen his works and Megiddo pouts. Airy words fly and Aton tells them to knock it off with Kar continuing his plan's success. At the gas station from earlier the father and son witness Sponge Green doing his gas-absorbing powers and the dad is smacked with a sword (not cut, but smacked). The villains drive off just before Red arrives where the boy tells him what happens. Exploding building stock footage is shown during this.

Sponge Shinka and his squad drive their jeep to a quarry with Red pursuing them on the Dynafalcon. Tail soldiers are torn up like toilet paper followed by the rest of the team riding in on the Dynamachine. I could be wrong, but it seems as though their missile launcher is on the car's windshield. Tail soldiers toss grenades and Red's bike also displays missile action from the hood. After they jump out and kick Sponge Shinka the Dynamen do their intros and pummel tail soldiers, mainly through stock footage of previous fight scenes. At least the comicbook paneling style is neat. After the mooks are finished by the Mach Dash, Sponge Shinka launches his bombs only to get flying kicked. He then resorts to using his explosive kunais only to iss and the Super Dynamite being used on him. Despite the boom he grows giant size followed by Dyjupiter launching.... From inside of a dam. This is new, I am surprised. Anyway, it lands followed by Mach, Mobile, and Garry launching to form into DR. Sponge Shinka tries some wrestling moves only for DR to punch him away. Some VOTOMS style rolling later punches are used and DR tanks Sponge Shinka's attacks including him emitting fire from his eye to enflame the landscape. DR saves the area by emitting a blue beam from the eyes called the Dyna Shower (is it supposed to be water or ice? I can't tell). Once the Dyna Flash is used DR uses the Dynamic Jump followed by the Fall which ends Sponge Shinka in a kaboom. At the gas station the boy (apparently named Kenta) rides a small motorcycle himself to show at the preschool. Yellow tries it out after despite Black and Pink trying to discourage him and he falls down. Next episode shows a lot of flowers, Butterfly Shinka flying around, and Kira and Geel being eaten by a giant fly trap.

Sponge Shinka: Powers include burrowing, green mouth bombs that absorb gasoline called sponge bombs, high jumping, explosive kunais in each of the three fingers for each hand, size changing, and eye flames

Episode 8:

In Grangizmo Kar shows Aton some plant seed. Megiddo seems to like it with Aton saying not to give Kar trouble or something. Cut to a random garden of flowers where some little girl waters them. Yellow and Pink stroll along to say hello and stuff. Pink likes the flowers and butterflies until the later start burning them all. Soon Butterfly Shinka appears with tail soldiers to fight them off. Yellow and Pink run to a shore before they transform. Their teammates show up to help them soon after. Once the tail soldiers are defeated Butterfly Shinka flees only for Megiddo to scold him soon after. He shows Megiddo some plants he is growing to which Aton seems to like. More butterflies murdering flowers. Meanwhile at the preschool the team and kids try to catch a butterfly while Kendo Robot cheers them on.... while waving a pole with the American and Japanese flags.... Odd. They succeed with some type of flower and manage to catch all of the butterflies go into some box soon after. Megiddo, Kira, Geel, and Butterfly Shinka find this with the Dynamen fighting them in an ambush. Megiddo runs off and soon after we see Kar scolding him while tail soldiers water their plant. Suddenly Chimera, Megiddo's cousin, teleports in complete with explosions. She says she came over to succeed where Megiddo fails and rubs it into his face, angering him. She even shows off her four stubby tails for some reason. Kar proposes to have her help and Aton agrees. Meanwhile, the heroes try cheering up Aoi (the girl from earlier) by help fixing her garden. Chimera shows up to introduce herself and stuns the team with some powder with Butterfly Shinka kidnapping Aoi. The team is then telepathically hurled to a beach and her flail emits explosions while taking on the team. After that they all transform upon saying their names while Megiddo, Kira, and Geel watch from behind. Man can Chimera's flail take some hits. It is also what she uses to teleport off.

Chimera drives in a jeep with Aoi who leaves a seed pack which Yellow manages to spot while driving. The team sees more of them while driving. Chimera's jeep stops and Megiddo confronts her before they see the giant fly trap. She claims it will eat Aoi which will accomplish.... I do not know. Her flail emits lightning which makes it grow and gain teeth, Aoi passes out right after. Butterfly Shinka is about to put her in when Red shows up to knock into Kira and Geel, sending them into the pant to be devoured. Megiddo screams at them while the other Dynamen fire missiles (I was wrong it was the frontal ridge, not the windshield). I am no plant expert, but I don't think fly traps can eat that fast. Anyway, the killer plant is destroyed by a shot of Red's dynarod followed by the heroes giving their intros and wailing on tail soldiers. Black also gains armor in this episode for some reason, not even built up or mention. This hurts the grunts so much their tails curl up. Red duels with Megiddo, but Chimera interrupts them by turning the area dark. Night on Bald Mountain plays with her growing large and summoning stun powder and lightning just to screw with the team. She even turns them into wind-up tin toys for a bit using back twisters attached to their backs. The team stops the music with a dynarod combination called the Dynarod.... Bar? Butterfly Shinka attacks while she runs off. After Butterfly Shinka does arsenal spamming only for rod beams in the face followed by the Super Dynamite. Butterfly Shinka grows and Red calls forth the Dyjupiter. As it rolls Mach takes off to fire lasers with Mobile Garry following so DR can be used. Acid butterflies, eye flash explosions, and stun powder are used until the Dyna Boomerang stops it. After the DR jumps into the air and uses the Fall to terminate Butterfly Shinka. The episode ends with Aoi's garden back to normal thanks to the Dynamen helping her. Next episode shows a motorcycle race with Red in it and Scorpion Shinka stalking him.

Episode 9:

Red works on his motorcycle when the preschoolers give him a poster to a bike race. Black is very excited for it as everyone listens in to the details the kids say. Red agrees to enter. Cut to Grangizmo where Megiddo shows the same poster to Aton, Kar, and Chimera. Why? He wants to assassinate Red there of course. Wow he got over the death of his body guards fast. Kar has the Prog turn out Scorpion Shinka. After that the race begins with the racers about to drive off and Black taking pictures. For some reason only Blue bothered to bring binoculars. Very muddy dirt biking with tail soldiers redirecting a sign because that joke is classic.... Although for some reason they turn it back after Red passes. Scorpion Shinka throws a pair of bear traps and Red is unable to get far. He is ten told the traps will explode soon and Megiddo is pleased. Black notices something is wrong and Red why he is in last place. Black notices a canister on the back of the bike when he drives off and he informs the others. Blue spots it with the others before Scorpion Shinka shows up demanding them to surrender Dyjupiter or Red goes boom. Tail soldiers get smacked around (with Pink literally doing a few slaps) and Scorpion Shinka duels with Black a bit before running off. He finds Red and jumps on his motorcycle to take the bomb only for Megiddo to knock him off still demanding Dyjupiter. He also has a detonator in his hands which he could use at any moment. He is thrown into a ring of tail soldier bikers with Blue, Yellow, and Pink. The race finishes with the preschoolers wondering where Red is.

Red is met by Black and Blue on a four wheeler- HOW THE HELL DID THEY ESCAPE AND GET THAT FOUR-WHEELER!? They fail and crash into a pond with Black blaming Blue before pushing the four-wheeler out. Yellow tells Dr. Yumeno about it and launches Dyjupiter. Megiddo and his goons watch as it lands before charging in. Meanwhile, Black still tries to hang on while Blue uses the four-wheeler to drive over tail soldiers chucking grenades. Yellow and Pink defend Dyjupiter despite the detonator Megiddo carries. Black eventually gets the bomb off with the team joining up near Dyjupiter so they can do intros and beat up tail soldiers complete with slow motion and comicbook panel shots. During this Blue shows off his new frisbees. Scorpion Shinka attacks only to get dyna punched by the teams followed by flying kicks and Super Dynamite. Scorpion Shinka grows so the team gets to Dyjuptier so Mach, Mobile and Garry can become DR. Scorpion Shinka batters with his claws only for the Dyna Shield to block them. DR then tanks scorpion missiles before being attacked by Scorpion Shinka's mouth drill. One Dyna Flash later and Scorpion Shinka is stunned long enough for DR to jump and make him explode from the Fall. The race goes on and Red manages to pass all the other competitors so he wins the race and the kids cheer for him. Next episode shows the team seeing a UFO and Octopus Shinka attacking a fisherman.

KABOOM! Also not counting episode 9 in this. Wow this series does not hold back on explosions, especially with the pulse pounding first episode. I liked how competent the tail soldiers were as they easily took on the team in the first episode. The stunt work is also really well done. For the team, Red hogs up too much of the screen time. Yellow and Blue got centered episodes, but in both they were in peril most of the time with the episodes being more leaned toward Black and Yellow, respectively. I know it is too early, but Pink not doing anything seems odd. For Dr. Yumeno and Kendo Robot I have no complaints. The Dyjupiter does a good job of surpassing predecessors and DR is a classic like previous mechs. Now for the Evilution Empire! Grangizmo is a nice fortress, it has an appealing predatory and superiority feel to it. The villains.... Kar is not much different from previous sentai commander/general figures and Megiddo seems very pouty. I know he wants revenge for his severed tail (no idea why they could not reattach it), but he does not do anything other than complain and fight. Unfortunately his revenge story is the only thing justifying them being only in Japan as far as I am aware. Please don't let this be Black Magma again. Kira and Geel could have been more, no idea why killing them off was necessary. Aton does not do much of anything himself. Then there is Chimera who is basically a cross between Sarome and Desmark and PLEASE LET THIS VILLAIN HAVE MORE SCREEN TIME SHE WAS FRIGGIN COOL IN HER INTRODUCTION. Then there is the music, which I have to be honest, while not bad, does not seem to be as good as previous stuff so far. I thought the same way about Sun Vulcan for a while before it grew on me so I will give it the same treatment like I did all previous opening themes before it.

Ultraman continues to added to Crunchyroll with 80! Speaking of 80s explosion lets go into part 4!

Before beginning I would like to point out that starting with episode 10 here, Super Sentai changes episode run times from the traditional 24 minute length from Gorenger to 20 minute run times. I do not know why Dynaman trimmed its own run time nor how long this tradition went for in the franchise, but I know this new run time goes at least as far as Kakuranger.

Episode 10:

Some radio station is being listened in by Black at the preschool with everyone watching. At the Grangizmo Kar comes up with some scheme with cosmic energy that Aton approves of. Cut to a shore filled with birds and fishermen when Octopus Shinka shows up. After dancing to the fishermen's radio he absorbs the electricity from it, flies around, and absorbs more electricity around the city. Meanwhile, Black comes up with some revelation and everyone is happy as they follow him to a field- Why is he wearing a silver jumpsuit? Anyway, the sky goes bright and he says it is from a UFO. Soon a flying saucer shows up to everyone's amazement. Black tries to communicate with it via walkie talkie when Octopus Shinka walks up to them claiming he is with the saucer, but Red does not buy it. Black becomes overwhelmed until he gets inked in the face and beaten up a bit.... With comical fast forwarding over ominous music. Black's radio is beaten up and he is shocked before Red kicks Octopus Shinka. Megiddo emerges from a hill to mock the team who transforms once the tail soldiers appear from beneath the ground. Soon Octopus Shinka and Megiddo retreat. At the Invention Center Black tries to fix his radio to no avail. At Grangizmo Megiddo complains about Octopus Shinka flopping and sends him out with a squad to blow up a stock footage oil refinery. Dynaman heads out soon after.

After several city blocks go up in explosions Octopus Shinka and his squad are found by Dynaman. Insert heroes doing intros and terminating tail soldiers here. Probably the soonest time the final battle of an episode has happened in Sentai history. Lots of color smoke explosions near the end of the grunt battle before Black fights Octopus Shinka one on one. He gets whooped when the flying saucer flies over and zaps Octopus Shinka for him before flying away. Black is saddened and looks lathargic. Black soon reveals he was faking it and manages to punch Octopus Shinka followed by entrapping him in webs before unloading his arsenal. The others soon decide to use Dyna Punches all at once before using the Super Dynamite. Octopus Shinka grows, Red calls for Dyjupiter, the team boarrds it upon landing, and Mach, Mobile, and Garry form into DR. Wasting no time both sides get physical on one another with melee attacks. DR soon finds out its punches are not working and soon gets shocked. However, after the Dyna Flash is used on Octopus Shinka DR dynamic jumps into the air and uses the Fall to destroy him. The team and preschoolers go on a hill and look for the UFO, unaware the latter all got black eyes from the telescope. Normally a Sentai episode's ending credits hit around the 22 minute mark with a 24 minute length, but here it is around the 18:30 mark and the episode is a little under twenty minutes, what the hell happened? Next episode shows Blue running and meeting a mermaid.

Octopus Shinka: Powers include burrowing, stunning mouth ink, electric absorption, flight, electric shocks, mouth missiles called the tako missiles, sonic waves from arm tentacle swinging, and size changing

Episode 11:

At Grangizmo Kar says he has something awesome with the creation of Dolphin Shinka and Chimera says dolphins are great for naval warfare. Some place called Marineland is referenced and Aton gives them permission to attack. Cut to Marineland which is basically Sea Worlf as Blue and Pink watch dolphins (likely spinner dolphins) and a killer whale doing trucks. The park manager walks out and is glad the two like the park. Suddenly Dolphin Shinka pops out from a tank and has tail soldiers kidnap the manager. Blue and Pink promptly teach the grunts a lesson as they fight soon takes place on a rocky shore. I also did not notice this until now, but the tail soldiers are using sais with the middle prong extended like a sword. These guys can also swim! Anyway, Dolphin Shinka is soon attacked by the others, allowing Blue and Pink to transform. Chimera shows up to help him long enough to take the manager away with Dolphin Shinka using a sonar on him. Chimera does one of her psychic attacks to deal with the other Dynamen. After Blue is sent into the water near a pair of whirlpools, Chimera and Dolphin Shinka teleport off while the team looks for him on a speed boat. Black and Yellow try finding him in a cave with no luck when the latter spots tail soldiers with rifles. They sneak around a bit before seeing that Dolphin Shinka is making the manager use some device that allows communication with fish. Black tries scaling a wall while Yellow helps take out tail soldiers. Chimera and Dolphin Shinka soon find out about the two andd fighting ensues. Red and Pink join in, allowing the two to transform and fight on more. Dolphin Shinka soon uses his radar on the Dynamen.

Meanwhile, Blue meets a mermaid on the ocean floor. They talk about stuff further proving I WISH I KNEW JAPANESE! She squeezes a seashell on her necklace which causes fish to scream like children for some reason. Blue wakes up on shore and he has the mermaid's necklace. After Blue transforms he swims through the water to help his teammates who look like they have muscle cramps as Chimera taunts them. Blue shows up with colored smoke explosions and on his board. After he comes on shore the heroes do their intros followed by Dolphin Shinka getting Dynamic Kicks to the face. Blue persues him underwater and both have a water jumping duel before coming back on shore. Blue uses his water attack and the Super Dynamite is executed soon after complete with a Goggle-V stock footage explosion. Dolphin Shinka grows and Red calls for Dyjupiter which the team flies up in. Once it lands Mach, Mobile, and Garry combine to form DR. Both giants get physical, although DR stuns Dolphin Shinka with the Dyna Hammer and Dyna Boomerang before making him explode from the Fall. Later, Blue talks about his mermaid necklace to the others and notice how mesmerized he is by it. The episode ends with the mermaid waving and random shots of people at a beach including the Dynamen on a dock throwing Blue into the water. Next episode shows Flea Shinka turning people into zombies with flee mouths.

Dolphin Shinka: Powers include swimming, right arm missiles, stunning sonar from the forehead, high pressured water from the snout, size changing, and high jumping

Episode 12:

At a theme park Flea Shinka jumps around and turns people into flea zombies. After this he returns to Grangizmo where Aton throws a fit on not doing enough to spread the zombie plague. Kar tries to defend his actions while Flea Shinka jumps around. Megiddo and Chimera argue a bit until Aton tells them to shut up and start fighting. Cut to a Red Cross bus that comes across a roadblock made by tail soldiers with Flea Shinka hijacking it. After that we see the preschoolers chase a puppy and knockover a plant which enrages Yellow. The others try to calm him down when Black runs in yelling they need to see the professor. They head down the shoot and Dr. Yumeno tells the Dynamen about the flea zombies before they head out. The next day Flea Shinka attacks another Red Cross bus and it turns out the people driving are the heroes in disguise. They ditch the lab coats and transform to fight tail soldiers. Megiddo soon shows up shortly into the fight with Flea Shinka and they flea. At the preschool the puppy continues to ruin Yellow's potted plants. Meanwhile, Megiddo supervises Flea Shinka's plague spread in a hospital, gotta love the electric guitar track in the background. After that a nurse converted into a flea zombie attack a crook and cop before they attack Flea Shinka himself for a bit. He runs just as the team is about to spot him.

At a hospital the Dynamen help out when the puppy, apparently named Kuku, shows up and Pink puts him in her car so he is kept safe. Flea Shinka and his squad show up in a bus and find that their lab was cleaned out. However, there were secret chemicals behind a hidden wall which he burns down with mouth flames and he drinks, which causes hallucinations. The heroes shows up revealing Flea Shinka drank liquor before they fight his squad. Flea Shinka runs outside and the other persue. Pink spots Kuku and soon him. Yellow and Pink fight off the tail soldiers while the latter is holding Kuku who takes on a tail soldier himself. Flea Shinka fires five metal spears from his mouth to form an electric barrier and Megiddo shows up only for Red to kick him and Black and Blue to free them. After Yellow and Pink transform the team does their intros and tail soldiers are taken out. Flea Shinka jumps around until Black uses his web shower technique. The team dodges more metal spears before using the Dyna Mach and Super Dynamite. Flea Shinka grows and stomps around while Red summons Dyjupiter followed by Mach, Mobile, and Garry launching so DR can be used. Flea Shinka jumps in, knocking DR around with teleportation helping. DR uses the Dyna Flash to stun Flea Shinka before destroying him via the Fall. At the hospital the flea zombies are given blood which reverts them back to normal. After that Yellow brings Kuku some food (spaghetti? I cannot tell). The episode ends with Dr. Yumeno being given Kuku so everyone can enjoy a roller coaster ride. Next episode shows Frog Shinka abducting brides.

Episode 13:

At some school a teacher announces to her students she is getting married. Later we see the wedding going on when Frog Shinka shows up and kidnaps the teacher. The same happens at a reception in a hotel and another church. The brides are taken into cages where Frog Shinka taunts him because he is a dick. Cut to the Dynamen talking to various priests with Pink spotting a bride-snatching in process. She jumps at Frog Shinka and sword fights his squad of tail soldiers. However, Frog Shinka grabs her via a chain and pulls out a cutlass. The men show up to help, allowing Pink to protect the running bride and transform to resume combat. Frog Shinka jumps into the water with Blue perusing.At Grangizmo Chimera scolds Frog Shinka for flunking with Kar joining in. Megiddo makes a suggestion to Chimera, but she snarks at him. Aton says something and everyone nervously obeys. Cut to the Invention Center where Dr. Yumeno is told everything. A trap is devised using Pink as bait and the men watch her from at least two kilometers away. Frog Shinka takes her away into a pond and the men persue. Frog Shinka shows her his cave of weeping brides when Chimera walks in. After that Frog Shinka dresses as a groom with bells ringing because this is going exactly as you think it is. He starts using hypnosis from his eyes which slowly convinces the various women he is their fiances. The men find the pond and split up.

Frog Shinka gathers all seven brides although Pink keeps trying to fake everything until she throws her clothes off and throw them at Frog Shinka. She fights tail soldiers and eventually slices the bell off the ceiling which stops the hypnosis. The six brides run out of the cave with Pink who still keeps fighting complete with slow motion and 80s music. Just as Frog Shinka wraps his tongue around her and emits electric shows, the men show up to fight. Once Pink transforms the heroes do their intros and tail soldiers are whomped complete with comicbook paneling. Pink and Frog Shinka duel a bit before Red kicks him followed by punches. Pink then throws exploding flowers and uses her ear popping attacking before the team uses the Super Dynamite. After that Frog Shinka grows with his stomps causing explosions followed by Red calling for Dyjupiter which lands once they board and Mach, Mobile, and Garry launch to use DR. The giants fight each other off with Frog Shinka revealing he had five tongues all armed with electricity. DR is then immobilized by hypnosis with Blue being zoned out until Black smacks him a bit. DR then summons a mirror that makes Frog Shinka dizzy followed by the Dyna Hammer stunning him before the Fall ends him. After the fight the teacher returns to her wedding and has her photo taken which the heroes gawk over. Next episode shows Diving Beetle Shinka giving children Shocker Combatant outfits an brainwashing.

Episode 14:

Construction workers tell kids in what I think is a junk yard to scram. They see Diving Beetle Shinka and the kids are hypnotized by his flute and emblems appear on their foreheads. The kids head onto a bus which disappears as it drives. After that some elementary school kids play soccer with Red when they too are hypnotized by Diving Beetle Shinka. Red notices what is going on as the kids violently board the bus. Diving Beetle fires bullets from his flute before going off. The collected kids enter a fun house where mist pours down and they acquire Shocker Combatman uniforms. Megiddo is pleased by this, but Chimera makes him feel bad briefly. Kar encourages Aton to move forward and he ends up agreeing. Diving Beetle Shinka has the kids shoot at Dynaman cutouts with slingshots. After that the kids are returned home as if nothing happened and the team investigates. Red and Black notice the bus from before and jump in front of it. The bus stops and Diving Beetle Shinka fails at fending them off. Red and Black notice the kids acting weird and have bombs slingshoted at them before the bus drives off and disappears. Later, Red thinks to himself a bit before typing something in on the computer at the Invention Center. Red then takes some weird helmet and goes motorcycling. More hypno-flute traps fail when Red shows up and fights Diving Beetle's squad. He transforms and tries to duel with Diving Beetle Shinka when the others show up to help only for the hypnotized kids to walk out from tries and try to attack with tail soldier sais. After that the kids retreat onto the bus.

At the Invention Center, Red types more stuff into the computer. This causes some location to glow red and the heroes go to it. Diving Beetle Shinka trains the kids with Megiddo supervising when Red punches through the wall followed by the others using an entrance. The hypnotized kids try using spears, but Red uses his Dynarod in gun form to emit some ray while Pink uses energy butterflies on Diving Beetle Shinka who flees outside. The team does their intros and grunts find themselves whooped. Diving Beetle Shinka uses a playground to try a very silly running sequence before attacking. After Dynarod guns are used to stun Diving Beetle Shinka the Super Dynamite is executed with the Goggle-V stock footage color explosion. Diving Beetle Shinka grows, Red calls Dyjupiter, and Mach, Mobile, and Garry become DR. Diving Beetle Shinka goes in full force, but DR stuns him with the Dyna Flash before making him explode from the Fall. The episode ends with all the kids returned to normal. Next episode shows a ninja kid attacking the heroes and a scroll.

Diving Beetle Shinka: Powers include a hypnotic flute armed with a gun, eye electric bolts, size changing, and finger missiles

Episode 15:

Some boy ruyns from tail soldiers and Gecko Shinka. Black hears this from a tree top so he jumps down to save him. After some ninja techniques Black escapes with the boy, Chimera being irked by this. Ninja boy talks to Black a bit that he knows ninjitsu too, but he does not believe him. Cut to Grangizmo where Megiddo laughs at Chimera's failure and bops her tail stub. She then says something that catches his interest. Aton demands her plan be played out. At the preschool the ninja boy throws shurikens despite everyone telling him to stop. Ninja boy acts high and mighty with Yellow about to throw a fit. He walks about and Black follows him when Gecko Ninja grabs the boy with his tongue like a noose. The others show up to fight while black takes the boy and runs, fighting off random tail soldiers along the way. Gecko Shinka manages to flee while Black and ninja boy look on from a waterfall. They talk about stuff because I do not know Japanese. Tail soldiers soon shoot at them with Gecko Shinka showing up. Chimera uses a blow dart to stun Black before Gecko Shinka sends him down the waterfall. Just as ninja boy is about to be nabbed Chimera appears as a red ninja and escapes with him via teleportation. She tricks him into thinking she is his sister and he shows her some treasure map (ah, this is a treasure hunt story!).

Before long they find a marking and upon moving a rock find a box. Chimera reveals herself upon taking it when Black shows up in black ninja attire to fight. Black and Chimera have a ninja duel, lots of illusions and weapon throwing to go around- BLACK HAS A HOSE IN HIS LEFT HAND LIKE ULTRAMAN!? Chimera wins and Black defends the boy as Gecko Shinka's squad surrounds them. He has the boy run for it while Black distracts Gecko Shinka until Blue kicks him. Once the team shows up intros and grunt wailing initiates. I swear this fast paced editing makes everything crazy. Gecko Shinka unloads his arsenal only to get punched by the team followed by the Super Dynamite. Gecko Shinka grows, Red calls Dyjupiter, and DR is formed from Mach, Mobile, and Garry combining. Gecko Shinka starts shoving DR before emitting electric shocks. DR uses the Dyna Hammer to slam Gecko Shinka a few times before using the Dynamic Jump and terminating him via the Fall. The heroes and ninja boy open the box which reveals a scroll (family history perhaps?). The episode ends with ninja boy walking away. Next episode shows Red and Black acting manly and New Bird Shinka flying around.

Warhammer 40K: Armageddon is now available to the public! Speaking of exploding things here is part 6!

Episode 16:

Megiddo has New Bird Shinka (who can be nicknamed not-Birdon) fly around for training. New Bird Shinka dives into a volcano and sparks fly which make him red. Kar tells Aton how the plan is succeeding. After Megiddo draws his sword we cut to a jumbo jet landing at an airport. The Dynamen are among the passengers on it and are lead onto a bus unaware a man in black is spying on them. During the bus ride a calming version of the opening theme plays. The heroes do sight seeing when two explosions in the road happen and tail soldiers appear both in and outside the bus. Naturally they are wailed on, allowing the bus driver to get to safety. Once New Bird Shinka shows up the team transforms and fight more mooks. New Bird Shinka does taunts and the tail soldiers cheer him on as he increased his body temperature and fends off the team until the Mach Dash stuns him. Megiddo jumps in and covers their escape. At the Evilution volcano base Megiddo scolds New Bird Shinka before giving him more power. At a hotel the man in black still stalks the heroes. Dr. Yumeno radios in saying there is strange volcanic activity going on. Red spots the man in black and chases after him. The man in black manages to get away on horse back and the team winds up in a zoo.... Yeah I don't get it either, but Pink notices the bears are acting weird. Meanwhile, Megiddo has a few tail soldiers deal with the Dynamen who they encounter soon after. Black fends off the grunts while the others continue. More show up soon after and Blue covers for it with Yellow doing the same soon after. The Red and Pink shipping stops once yet another squad shows up and the latter covers the former.

Red finds the volcano base (more like five bunkers) to where Megiddo demands energy be harvested better or something. Red beats up a few mooks standing guard before entering. Megiddo gives a monologue about how the Dynamen are screwed when Red busts through the wall and throws a sword at a console. Fighting ensues and goes outside with Red pummeling his enemies. Soon after the entire team shows up on horseback.... Yeah just go with it, kind of neat though. Following that entrance are the intros and tail soldier smack down complete with comicbook style panels. New Bird Monster runs away before using mouth flames. After that he raises his body temperature and dives, but Blue's water attack stops him in the air followed by more attacks and the Super Dynamite being executed. New Bird Shinka grows, Red summons Dyjupiter, and upon it landing Mach, Mobile, and Garry become DR. Giants clash as New Bird Shinka flies around and his body heat causes damage to DR who uses the Dyna Laser to cool him off followed by the Dyna Knuckle. DR then does a Dynamic Jump and ends New Bird Shinka with the Fall. The episode ends with the heroes on horseback with Chimera watching from afar saying they will die. Next episode shows more horseback riding, the team in cowboy outfits, and Red Fighting Dinosaur Shinka.

Episode 17:

The Dynamen do sight seeing right after the events of last episode. Black notices some woman on a cable car. He keeps thinking of her as they walk to the bus. Cut to Dinosaur Shinka (triceratops-dimetrodon hybrid for those wonder) telling his squad to plant a huge crystal cube when cable car woman is seen hicking and finds the crystal. She is then thrown off a cliff and Chimera has him continue the mission. It gets planted somewhere else and Dinosaur Shinka hits it in, causing earthquakes even the team can feel from many kilometers away. Chimera is pleased by a fissure caused from the the planting, but the heroes show up ON HORSEBACK IN COWBOY OUTFITS AND HAVE A SHOOT OUT WITH THE TAIL SOLDIERS! The mooks even wear western hats and some houses are dressed up to resemble the old west! It is times like these I am glad to be a toku fan! Soon Chimera has a duel with Pink (yes even she gets an outfit) when Dinosaur Shinka interrupts them with a rifle and black hat (hur). Lots of shooting and Dinosaur Shinka got shot in the pelvis. After that the heroes transform and do regular fighting while Chimera teleports herself and Dinosaurs Shinka away. Black tries finding cable car girl (named Mako). Meanwhile, Chimera tells Aton her plan of causing a volcanic eruption with Kar approving and whatnot. Megiddo seems jealous at his cousin. At the hotel he apparently found Mako who cannot remember anything. A flashback is shown how Mako used to be bullied.

The heroes go looking around the volcano to look for the Evilution Empire's next plan. Black spots Mako wondering around (what weird editing) unaware Chimera and Dinosaur Shinka are tailing them. Tail soldiers appear on horseback to ambush them until Black throws ninja stars. Black and Mako escape on a horse back to the hotel to hide. The two talk a bit and another flashback happens, Black first met her a long time ago and wanted to give her a crystal as a going away present before her family moved. So yeah, puppy love story. Anyway, she remembers Dinosaur Shinka's attack on her and his giant crystal. Dr. Yumeno talks about some sort of energy. Just as Chimera is about to have the crystal implanted again the Dynamen show up for intros and grunt pummeling. Red fights Dinosaur Shinka a bit only to get thrown. The team returns with assaults (who knew Yellow's maces emitted lightning) before finishing with the Super Dynamite.... Oh wow, a new explosion shot! Dinosaur Shinka grows, Dyjupiter comes in thanks to Red calling it, and Mach, Mobile, and Garry go out for DR to be used.Dinosaurs Shinka tries lifting DR wrestler style and jumps around like a Kamen Rider. DR returns with its own melee attacks rather comically before destroying Dinosaur Shinka with the Fall. The episode ends with the team leaving including Black saying goodbye to Mako. Next episode shows tidal waves and Megiddo looking after tail soldiers on a console.

Episode 18:

Blue surfs at the beach when he is hit by a huge wave. On shore he notices dead fish as do a bunch of fishermen. Some argument happens between a father in son. Cut to the Grangizmo where Megiddo shows pff schematics to some satellite dish that causes giant tidal waves. Kar seems cautious about it even though Aton allows it. Dr. Yumeno talks about it at the Invention Center before we see Stingray Shinka powering the device using elecric waves from his body. The machine cannot handle his power apparently. After that Blue walks around a dock when he sees suspicious people loading black boxes on a semi-truck so he scares one with a clown mask. This reveals the loaders being tail soldiers who are defeated with one driving off. Blue jumps on the truck and radios in. Megiddo and Stingray Shinka jump on to fight Blue to get him off with mooks failing to help much. Once Blue is hanging on the truck's side Stingray Shinka tries stomping on his hands followed by Megiddo using telekinesis to throw him off. Blue falls off and Stingray Shinka fights him until the others jump in so he can transform. More fighting occurs on a harbor until Stingray Shinka stuns the team with his electric waves and jumps into the water. Meanwhile the son from earlier starts playing a drum when he sees Megiddo and his tail soldiers carry the black boxes into a cave when Stingray Shinka catches him.

Blue notices the boy's drumsticks and heads into the cave where the Evilution Empire watches on a monitor. The cave is sealed with falling rocks via a switch. The others cannot find Blue although Dr. Yumeno radios in where he was last. Meanwhile, Megiddo looks at the monitor's map of Japan seeing ocean current flow and whatnot. The others arrive at the sealed cave and hear the wave flow nearby. Stingray Shinka uses his electric waves to start up a tidal wave when Blue busts through a wall on his board. Megiddo throws a fit and Blue uses his frisbees to blow up the consoles while saving the tied up boy- wow that rope came off too easily. Both have cage walls to trap them in while Megiddo sets a time bomb and walks away. Outside the heroes waited for them while Megiddo brags about how soon Blue will be killed. An explosion in the water sets off with Megiddo saying that was their base when Blue jumps up from the water with the boy and makes a safe landing. I do not wonder how he escaped because he is skilled with water. Hero intros and tail soldier wailing happen with comicbook paneling. Stingray Shinka launches mouth bombs and goes electric wave crazy before Blue does a high speed chase in the water as he tries to get away. Once Stingray Shinka is knocked down he gets a face full of Super Dynamite. Stingray Shinka grows, Red summons Dyjupiter, and DR is formed from Mach, Mobile, and Garry being launched. Stingray Shinka unleashes his arsenal on DR who proceeds to beat him up with a punch and the Dyna Flash before terminating him via the Fall. The episode ends with the father and son from earlier beating a big drum for a ceremony. Next episode shows Porcupine Shinka planting bombs and Yellow helping a kid.

The Colbert Report will end this week! Before giving Stephen a final hora here is part 7!

Episode 19:

At the preschool Yellow is greeted by three kids before he heads out for labor. He starts complaining about how unappreciated his work is before seeing some kid in a patch helping him. Yellow starts picking out carrots and gives them to the boy as he harvests more. While pulling on them he accidentally pulls out Porcupine Shinka who was munching on one because according to him he gets energy from him. Porcupine Shinka eats most of his carrots and farts in Yellow's face. Yellow transforms and punches him. Porcupine Shinka then pulls out a bomb before escaping underground.... Which causes an oil refinery to blow up. Cut to the Yumeno Lab where the heroes discuss the situation before setting out. Tail soldiers disguised as construction workers help Porcupine Shinka plant a bomb when Red spots them. A quick fight occurs with the others showing up and the tail soldiers pop in. Chimera looks on from a distance. Blue finds the bomb and Red turns it off with Black and Yellow dealing with another one. Later at Grangizmo Megiddo and Aton scold Chimera. When she tries defending herself even Kar tells her to shut up and do something about it. Later we see the boy from earlier being met by a woman in white who is interested in the garden and when he is not looking is revealed to be Chimera. While Kendo Robot plays with the kids the Dynamen run around Tokyo and Yellow gets a call from Dr. Yumeno. When he returns to his garden he sees two tail soldiers trying to kidnap the boy when Chimera shows up and the field is suddenly filled with bombs resembling roses. She sets off a lever which causes a few to explode.

Yellow takes the boy and runs before they are both caught in a blast. Meanwhile, Porcupine Shinka is caught by the others and a fight breaks out. During this Chimera keeps up her game when Yellow starts pulling on bomb wires. He tells the boy (Akira?) to run while he attempts something. During this the team is losing badly when Chimera teleports in for some reason. Yellow manages to show up via running and reveals he did some trick by pulling the wires on the roses or somethi- I WISH I KNEW JAPANESE! He transforms so the heroes can do intros and fight off grunts- wow the camera is shakier than usual. Yellow uses a technique called the Yellow Bomber where his maces become gauntlets. Porcupine Shinka turns into a ball and attacks until Yellow counters him. After that Porcupine Shinka tries burrowing around, but Yellow uses lightning from the dynarod gun followed by punches and the Super Dynamite. Porcupine Shinka grows, Red calls Dyjupiter to send them up, and Mach, Mobile, and Garry become DR after launching. Somehow the environment became a city park and both go full melee with the Dyna Hammer being used followed by Porcupine Shinka launching back spikes. DR then uses the Fall to end Porcupine Shinka for good. The episode ends with the heroes and kids eating camp-fired vegetables. Next episode shows Chimera and Black fighting on a cable car.

Episode 20:

Kar complains about something and goes on a rant about the constant failures. Some giant energy cannon is mentioned in paintings. Aton throws in his two cents before cutting to an airport where the Dynamen head on a bus to do sight seeing.... Was this not already an episode? Suddenly they spot girl boy being attacked by tail soldiers and the teams teaches them some manners. Red notices an old book she was carrying and picks it up before they go, unaware Megiddo, Chimera, and Squid Shinka are watching. The girl explains that microfilm of something is hidden and the book tells where it is. The heroes go to some hotel and split up. In an aquarium they spot a woman in a black bikini and scuba gear stealing a rock and it turns out it is Chimera. During the chase Squid Shinka and his squad attack. Chimera gets on a cable car, but Black hangs onto it via a rope. Chimera tries to get him off while Megiddo rides a boat on the lake under them. Blue transforms to get into the water while Red, Yellow, and Pink transform to fight off the mooks. Black and Chimera fight on top of the cable car with a tail soldier interfering. Soon they both jump off while Blue handles Megiddo.... And both are now on shore.... Chimera gives Megiddo the rock and they teleport off.

Red and Pink talk to the girl who remembers her parents in a flower field. The others come back with Black pointing something out in the book. A church bell rings which gives the girl some idea and the team goes off, unaware Chimera heard everything while disguised as a nun. The girl finds some gold square with Red when Squid Shinka and his goons show up to fight. Black and Yellow are ambushed by Megiddo and his squad and it goes as well as you think it does. Chimera does her own ambush and squad with Blue and Pink. Red manages to distract Squid Shinka long enough for the girl to escape and soon after he transforms. The rest transform as well soon after, during this Pink and Chimera fight in bikinis. After that come the Dynamen doing intros on color explosion hill (despite being near a lake town) and beating up tail soldiers. Squid Devil fires missiles from his right arm and flattens himself to sneak around the heroes until they start fighting back and finish with the Super Dynamite. Squid Shinka grows and Red gets Dyjupiter to appear with DR being formed from Mach, Mobile, and Garry. Squid Shinka jumps in uses melee attacks with DR using an energy ring called the Knuckle Bomber to counterattack before dynamic jumping and terminating him via the Fall. I think that was a new explosion shot. At the lake shore the girl hands the heroes the microfilm while watching the sun set as said girl cries out to her dad. Next episode shows Red fighting Crocodile Shinka.

Squid Shinka: Powers include high jumping, right arm missiles, body flattening, size changing, and a left arm tentacle whip that emits electricity

Episode 21:

Some mother and daughter greet a dad home off a boat when Crocodile Shinka shows up to attack him. Yellow spots him being kidnapped and attacks the tail soldiers when Crocodile Shinka nearly rips his left arm off. Red shows up to help and transforms. Black shows up to help while Yellow struggles after he transforms too followed by Blue. Pin sort of comes from nowhere. Megiddo appears and kidnaps the dad by driving away in a jeep. The mom talks to the heroes about him just coming home as she and her daughter wheep. After that Crocodile Shinka starts kidnapping scientists like crazy and the team happens to catch him in progress. Red throws a stick in his mouth and Crocodile Shinka releases an exploding snake from his torso. At Grangizmo Kar explains how well his plan is working with the scientists including the dad use some heat ray to melt a rock. Megiddo says they will sink an entire city with it. At the Yumeno Lab the team contemplates with Dr. Yumeno saying things to them. Black and Blue spot another scientist being kidnapped via a jeep. Yellow and Pink try saving one in a building yet fail. Later they report back to the Yumeno Lab in failure as Red constructs some device. Blue hands him a list with pictures and Red recognizes one. We then see the mother and daughter at a fountain when Crocodile Shinka shows up to nab the former. Red shows up only to get pounded badly. Red sticks a tracer on Crocodile Shinka while the others attend to the daughter (named Miyumi). Red promises to rescue her parents. Later the team observes photos of Crocodile Shinka and notice the snake bombs in the torso. After that the monitor brings up his location.

Crocodile Shinka brings the mom (named Yoko) to the secret base where her husband begins raging before being smacked around. Outside the base Red has two swords ready to duel and Crocodile Shinka accepts. The duel is done in slow motion and Red opens up Crocodile Shinka's torso cavity and get rids of his bobs which explode. Red is flung a ways away with his team finding him and being happy he succeeded. After that come the transformations followed by intros and tail soldier slaughter. During this Blue and Pink save the scientists and blowing the base's equipment up. Crocodile Shinka fires mouth missiles, but Red unloads his attacks before the Super Dynamite is used. Crocodile Shinka grows, Red calls Dyjupiter, and Mach, Mobile, and Garry become DR after combining. Crocodile Shinka tries chomping at DR until he is shoved off. DR uses the Dyna Flash to blast his teeth off before Crocodile Shinka explodes from the Fall. Interesting to note they actually have a top down view angle while dynamic jumping so we see what DR sees before it comes crashing down (not exactly as we see the back of its head, but you get the idea). Mayumi's parents find her by the fountain and the heroes smile before jogging off. Next episode shows Cat Shinka and some kids playing tricks on people.

Henshin Justice updates the forums! Speaking of updates here is part 8!

Episode 22:

At the preschool the kids pet a new kitten which Pink is afraid of. Red tells her to calm down, but she does not. Cut to some woman's house where four kids leave rubber snakes to scare her. Said pranksters also do the old money-on-a-wire trick before throwing dirt at some woman's drying laundry. After they make some bikes fall over they proceed to throw eggs before we see Cat Shinka sinisterly going "yay!" At Grangizmo Cat Shinka is reminded to stay on task (I think) and Chimera bickers with Megiddo. Later at a park Cat Shinka releases some purple mist from his mouth that forces the kids under his control. After that the Dynamen fix the bike mess caused earlier when they come back to the preschool finding it a wreck. The mischief kids mock them and run off. Cat Shinka soon reveals himself and that he is controlling the kids. He also uses some hypnotic attack with neko cats swirling around his head before running. Chimera appears on a lighthouse to mock them- Wait they don't look like they're near water. Anyway, tail soldiers show up and flunk at fighting. Cat Shinka scratches Blue up a bit before having the kids attack.... And they are man handling the heroes. They run to the Invention Center and convise a way to save the kids who we then see sign picketing. Some man's sign gets stepped on and Blue and Pink follow Cat Shinka to where he is taking them.... And reveal themselves too him. Pink becomes too terrified to fight. Soon they transform, but Cat Shinka manages to run away after using eye flashes. At the preschool Red encourages Pink to get over her fear of cats. Dr. yumeno is told from Black and Yellow the kids have barraced themselves in the school.

Black and Yellow try getitng through, but are met with squirt guns filled with what I think is oil. After that fails Kendo Robot somehow sneaks in and emits smoke, which draws out Cat Shinka. He manages to lead Cat Shinka to a field where the team waited for him and transform followed by intros. The kids show up to throw lots of rocks. After lifting them up the mischief kids were reavealed to be regular tail soldiers who lose oh so badly. During the fight the tail soldiers Pink fights turn into neko statues and Red uses a flash attack from his sword to make Cat Shinka stop. Pink uses exploding roses to deal with the remaining mooks. Soon after that Cat Shinka gets dyna kicked and receives a fist full of Super Dynamite. Cat Shinka grows, Red calls Dyjupiter, the team beams up, and Mach, Mobile, and Garry form into DR. Cat Shinka jumps around a lot with DR unable to keep up. Once the Dyna Hammer is used Cat Shinka proceeds to play with the mace like a yarn ball before getting bonked and explodes once DR uses the Fall. Gotta like how they were in a city yet the birds eye view shot suddenly turns the battlefield to a field. The kids return to normal and unbarracade themselves. At the preschool Pink runs up a tree still afraid of cats. The episode ends with the men teasing her about it a little. Next episode shows Slug Shinka turning people into cartoony slugs.

Cat Shinka: Powers include mind control mouth gas, hypnosis, high jumping, teleportation, telekinesis, explosive eye flashes, explosive rose petals, size changing, and mouth flames called the cat fire

Episode 23:

At a bus stop Slug Shinka and his squad board a bus and the former turns everyone into a slug via mouth mist. Two men manage to escape out the window while the human slugs are placed in jars. Slug Shinka goes on a slug conversion rampage and man do these slugs look like toys. Cut to some boy collecting slugs who witnesses two women being turned into slugs. He is soon spotted after opening his yap, but throws a bag of salt at Slug Shinka. The tail soldiers throw buckets of water on him while the boy tries running off yelling for help. Pink shows up to help him run while she fights off the goons. Slug Shinka tries using his mist on her when Red kicks him and the other men show up. Slug Shinka emits acid from his mouth to melt Black's weapon and Yellow throws salt which does nothing. Slug Shinka manages to run off while the boy is taken to a hospital and says his mom was converted into a slug. At Grangizmo Chimera and Megiddo scold Slug Shinka and Kar demonstrates the slgus' acid capabilities by eating away a metal chair. Megiddo comments about how screwed cities would become. Slug Shinka continues his rampage at a bank, using his slug slaves to melt the vault door. An oil refinery gets slugged soon after although Blue and Pin show up to collect them. The refinery begins to explode and the city descends into chaos soon after. Once the team heads out Pink encounters the boy from earlier (Satoshi?) and they talk for a bit before he mentions the time he poured salt on Slug Shinka.

Slug Shinka and his squad encounter the men at an office building who proceed to beat up tail soldiers. Slug slaves are thrown at them when Pink shows up for a duel because mockery I think. She distracts Slug Shinka and the tail soldiers to a construction site while the men collect the slugs. While doing this she teases her enemies. Seriously, this goes on for a while until she busts open a ball filled with salt. Soon after the men show up, allowing intros and grunt fighting. Slug Shinka uses his arsenal only for Pink to retaliate and counter. She even uses some rosy wheel to deflect his mist at him before the team uses the Super Dynamite. Slug Shinka grows, Red summons Dyjupiter, and DR is used once Mach, Mobile, and Garry combine. Slug Shinka's falcata gets a few cuts in at DR and the Dyna Shield barely stops his mouth acid. Energy rings called the Knuckle Bomber manage to fend Slug Shinka off long enough for the Fall to destroy him. At the refinery some slug slaves turn back into humans once Black and Yellow use some sort of spray. This include salt boy's mother. Next episode shows Black looking through a telescope and Fox Shinka and Chimera kidnapping old people.

Slug Shinka: Powers include slug converting mouth mist, mouth acid, explosive eye flashes, high jumping, a falcata that emits surges upon striking the ground, size changing, and eye electric bolts

Episode 24:

Black looks out of a telescope and tells the kids about it. Cut to Kar giving a monologue about how they can use an observatory and Aton approves. The next day Black sees some girl named Saori being thrown out of the observatory as her father is taken away into it by security. She tells Black about it and say things will turn out swell. She runs off before he sneaks in. A mine goes off followed by a bunch of swords being thrown. He soon finds himself being teleported to a lake and out before finding out Fox Shinka was the one attacking. Black accidentally bumps into Red during the chase. However, Red punches him and disappears. Blue shows up and kicks Black before disappearing. Similar things happen with Pink and Yellow. When Fox Shinka fails to get Black as Yellow his tail pops out and his cover is blown. Fox Shinka teleports Black to some weird foggy dimension with fire balls and tail soldiers in skeleton costumes. Black transforms and uses the shadow flash to break out of the dimension. Fox Shinka and his squad run off soon after. At the Invention Center Dr. Yumeno concludes that the Evilution Empire is trying to summon a bunch of meteors to destroy Earth. The scientist from earlier returns home with Saori glad he's home. However, it turns out not to be Saori, but Fox Shinka in disguise. The team tries going to the scientist's house only for Fox Shinka disguised as a cop to stop them until Black gives him.... A burrito wrap? Fox Shinka manages to run off, screwing with the team along the way by turning into various people. At one point he fights Black as him, you can even tell the edits between the actor and double. Blue and Yellow are unsure of who is who so they tackle the real one by accident which allows Fox Shinka to get away. Black takes out his frustration by giving them both a hit.

The heroes meet up at the observatory gate. Black attempts nippo by making a duplicate of himself which confuses the team although the double has a modified voice. The double manages to sneak in, distracting Chimera and the tail soldiers, while the real Black rescues the scientist and his daughter and wife; I cannot tell from video quality, but I think their mouths are taped shut (they didn't show gag ripping in the next shot so maybe the quality I am watching it on sucks balls, which it kind of does). He then smashes the control console. Outside the duplicate turns into a bunch of balloons and a "I tricked you message". Chimera and Fox Shinka try catching the scientist only for the Dynamen to thwart them. After that are the intros and shenanigans with Fox Shinka's trickery.... Which goes on for a while. Black throws some bread which reveals Fox Shinka and it explodes in his face. Black then makes two duplicates of himself to tire Fox Shinka out so the Super Dynamite can be used. Fox Shinka grows, Dyjupiter shows up at Red's command, and Mach, Mobile, and Garry launch to become DR. Fox Shinka turns into DR and the real one divides into vehicles. Mobile and Mach use their missiles and lasers, respectively, Garry does not do anything sadly. After that DR reforms and uses the Fall to terminate Fox Shinka. The episode ends with the family thanking the team. Next episode shows Bee Shinka converting people into drones and a runaway cart.

No new episodes for Christmas week are airing! This is a good time to catch up on oldies like with part 9!

Episode 25:

A father and son jog along when Bee Shinka stings the former with a stinger on his right arm which penetrates the forehead. Upon doing so the dad grows a horn and laughs as Bee Shinka flies off. Red runs up and fights him off as the dad tries biting. He is soon sent to a mental asylum with the son hoping he will become normal again. Cut to the Grangizmo where Megiddo boasts about how superb his plan is although Chimera is not impressed. Aton demands the plan continue. Later Bee Shinka attacks a school coach while the kids find a stray puppy. The coach then pokes the kids in the head which turns them into drones and they do it to other kids. A flower shop woman soon becomes a laughing drone too. At the Invention Center Dr. Yumeno tells the team the situation is getting serious. The son from earlier walks around a forest when he sees Bee Shinka flying around. He follows him and is soon spotted so he runs. Just as he is about to be stung Red kicks Bee Shinka and has the boy run. The two duel shortly before Red transforms and the others show up. Bee Shinka flies off before the son and Red check on the dad with the doctor saying they can do nothing for him. Red decides to return to the forest to see if he can find anything. Bee Shinka appears outside the asylum and nabs the son.

Megiddo interrogates the son who is chained to what I think is a pipe while Bee Shinka works with chemicals that are inserted into his mouth. A tail soldier is converted into a drone and passes out, causing Megiddo to laugh maniacally. At the forest Red spots Bee Shinka and chases him only for mooks to show up and attack. He transforms and fends them off. Bee Shinka uses the boy as a hostage to get Red to stop and uses a cart with a giant needle to threaten him. Just before it hits him Red manages to stop the needle by slicing it in half while Bee Shinka spams mouth needles. Suddenly the rest of the heroes show up to help just as Red unties the boy, allowing him to run. After that are the intros and tail soldiers receiving a grade A whooping. Notably Blue struggles with just one. Soon Red chases Bee Shinka with the others following. Explosive flashes are used only for the team to use dyna kicks. Bee Shinka proceeds to fly around before the Dynarods are combined to execute an electric surge called the Dyna Power which knocks him down long enough for the Super Dynamite to be executed. Bee Shinka grows gigantic, Red calls Dyjupiter, it lands, and Mach, Mobile, and Garry combine into DR. Bee Shinka flies in with a ton of explosions that stun DR. The jumping around continues followed by electric bolts from the eyes before the Dyna Knuckle and Dyna Flash are used to stun Bee Shinka before he is taken out by DR via the Fall. The episode ends with the mutant drones including the dad all being restored to normal. Next episode shows the team enjoying a theme park until Starfish Shinka attacks.

Episode 26:

At a lighthouse a boy runs into it and talks to his dad who is on a radio. Shortly after he goes outside and is ambushed by Starfish Shinka. Cut to Grangizmo where Kar and Megiddo try telling Aton how they will succeed this time as Starfish Shinka's laser will blast apart ships at the lighthouse. Meanwhile the Dynamen take the preschoolers to a theme park where rides and swimming take place. As pink takes one of their girls to a shore she and later Blue spot the son of lighthouse guy mopping about how his dad does not want to play with him I think. Starfish Shinka takes lighthouse guy to his secret cave. Tail soldiers talk in to replace the jewel (a ruby?) on Starfish Shinka's torso. Red calls Dr. Yumeno as he, Black, and Yellow check the lighthouse and for somereason a shot of a building on fire is shown. After Starfish Shinka charges up his jewel via a sun tan, Megiddo shows up followed by Bue and Pink where fighting ensues between the heroes and mooks. Soon Blue and Pink transform with the others showing up soon after only for Starfish Shinka to jump into the water. Blue chases him onto another shore and finds himself attacked by stafish mines. Shortly after he goes into his civilian self and sneaks around the base. During this Starfish Shinka taunts lighthouse guy (likely with threatening to kill his son, not sure) who is in a jail cell. Blue manages to sneak in via scuba suit and breaks lighthouse guy out. The others try looking via speedboats and soon find Blue and lighthouse guy. That night father and soon are united at a rather fancy hotel. After that lighthouse guy tells the team about the Evilution Empire's plans.

The next day the heroes look around. Starfish Shinka does tanning solar absorption with Megiddo keeping an eye on him. Blue spots them and jumps in, kicking Sarfish Shinka before fighting the grunts. While chasing Starfish Shinka and Megiddo, Blue finds himself under a bridge to dodge machine gun fire and dives into the water below. However, tail soldiers on boats chase after him while firing machine guns. The others show up to rescue him in their speedboats. Once Blue transforms he follows his team to shore where intros and tail soldier whomping occur. Starfish Shinka uses his torso beam to burn the weapons of Black and Yellow before Blue stuns him with his water and ski attack, the latter having similar webs to what Black uses. After that is the Super Dynamite. Starfish Shinka grows to giant size, Red calls for Dyjupiter, the team beams up, and DR is used once Mach, Mobile, and Garry combine. Starfish Shinka starts attacking with a mace staff and starfish mines. DR tries using the Dyna Shield, but Starfish Shinka's torso beam sets it on fire. Said beam is redirected at Starfish Shinka via the Science Sword which stuns him long enough for DR to make him explode using the Fall. The episode ends with the team and preschoolers on a sailboat ride. Next episode shows Cicada Shinka being cornered by the team.

Episode 27:

At a park five boys go bug hunting when Cicada Shinka flies out of a tree and uses sonic waves to destroy several buildings which cause a massive panic. WOW what a way to start an episode. One boy in glasses is impressed (to be fair so would I). Cut to the team searching the wreckage with metal detectors.... Huh? Glasses boy shows up to tell them what he saw. After that a father and son in a jeep drop by and some talking happens and I will repeat I WISH I KNEW JAPANESE! They drive off soon after. At Grangizmo Chimera tells Aton how effective Cicada Shinka has been and Aton approves even if Megiddo has issues. On a screen the body of an old cicada is being thawed out and Kar claims it will cause a ton of destruction. Chimera tells Cicada Shinka to get out there and despoil everything. Meanwhile, the team has no luck finding anything until Pink finds something that makes the detector go off. Jeep dad and son show up, this time with Pink noticing their dog in the back. Red and Pink talk a bit about I do not know. At a cave Chimera and Cicada Shinka watch over the thawing cicada when a tail soldier tells them about an intruder. Cicada Shinka goes out of the cave and flies around, soon spotting the intruder who turns out to be glasses boy. Red stops the kidnapping in progress via a kick. The team shows up as do tail soldiers. Cicada Shinka uses explosive eye flashes, soon injuring glasses boy. The Dynamen then transform only to get hit with sonic waves, knocking them down. Red accidentally damages a radar dish and soon the team throws their dynarods which forces Cicada Shinka to flee. Chimera is just glad they suspect nothing.

At the preschool glasses boy is watched over with Dr. Yumeno taking care of him. Later he looks at the dish Red broke and it is revealed to be emitting sonic noise. After that Red manages to make his way into the cave, fighting off mooks, and finds Chimera about to revive the cicada. He barrages in and fights off the mooks while transforming. Soon the Evilution Empire is drawn out of the cave where the others waited for them. This is followed up by the heroes doing intros and beating down tail soldiers. Cicada Shinka goes sonic wave crazy with the team trying to avoid random explosions, but failing. The team corners him and use radar dishes to redirect his sonic waves back at him followed by the Super Dynamite. Cicada Shinka grows, Red has Dyjupiter fly over, and once the team boards Mach, Mobile, and Garry launch to become DR. The giants square off with Cicada Shinka emitting sonic waves around DR until it emits a blue energy barrier called the Dyna Barrier. DR then uses the Dyna Hammer on Cicada Shinka to stun him long enough to terminate him with the Fall. The episode ends with the preschoolers looking at the collection of the bug collector boys. Next episode shows a clown, people acting weird, and monster costumes.
