Yeah, I heard about this.

Next thing you know, they're gonna kill off Petey to fix the whole "Look I'm Spider-Man!!" thing.:redface2:

Thank you, FR. I just think it's a really sloppy and careless means of taking Cap off the Marvel canvas. Resorting to shock value like this is a cheap way out.

Ok, time for me to make a formal complaint, a VALID formal complaint:

with all this hoopla over Captain America; where's all the talk about Marvel Zombies vs. Army of Darkness #1?

Tendou Souji is just a nail on Cap's little finger.

In Civil War: The Intiative, it's said that...
[HIDE]Captain America is not dead, but was injured pretty badly.[/HIDE]

From Wikipedia

[HIDE]While Captain America appears to be genuinely dead, in Civil War: The Initiative, Ms. Marvel tells Spider-Woman (Jessica Drew) that Captain America is not dead but "...tucked away safe on the Raft... They're trying to save his life even as we speak." It is unclear whether Ms. Marvel is misguided, intentionally lying or telling the truth. On March 7, CNN and other news organizations reported the death of Captain America. Marvel later confirmed the death on its website.[/HIDE]

Captain America is dead. Anyway, Japanese heroes are what the world really needs.

More like weird. It would be a major 180 for his character to suddenly take up Cap's costume and his namesake. It's like trying to imagine Superman with a pair of Uzis.

Ultimate Captain America is no stranger to taking up a machine gun. It would just be an interesting take to see how Frank handled the mantle of Captain America.

With Steve... there is not conflict. You know what he's going to do and there's no complex character underneath either. Steve Rogers is always just going to do what's right.

With Frank as the Cap.... then you'd have a complex character that it would be interesting to follow as he found his path to what was right and how he figured it out as a flawed human being.
