Not sure if it will be anything near the movie version, but at least it'll be faithful to the source material.

I'm still lacking the bionic arm since we're having trouble choosing which material is better to use, since so far, nobody has perfected the bionic arm portion of Winter Soldier's cosplay. I'll post some pictures later of my Winter Soldier's costume progress.

I feel like they didn't make Bucky's role in the first Captain America film critical enough to warrant the surprise reveal of him being the Winter Soldier. The audience reactions will probably be divided pretty evenly between "...who?", "I already knew this was going to happen" and "so what?"

My thoughts exactly with this. I think when I was watching the movie I had a hard time trying to figure out who Bucky was at all.

That's the current one, after he was nearly killed during Fear Itself and was saved by a transfusion of Nick Fury's Infinity Formula. His first costume had a red star on his bionic arm plus he had longer hair.
