I'm sorry, I don't read the comic books. Could someone explain why Captain America's costume design was changed again? Why didn't they reuse the one in the Avengers movie?

This kind of comment implies that they only made one suit for the whole movie and either couldn't or wouldn't make another one just like it, nor might they have any duplicates on hand just in case. In which case, I would be amazed if all the shots in the Avengers movie really were 1 take. :sly:

This kind of comment, however, makes a lot more sense. Kids would be more inclined to purchase the toys if Cap was sporting a new suit. If it was the same one from the Avengers movie, kids might not be inclined to purchase any new toys because they all ready have one "just like it".

He was kept in suspended animation, but let out every so often to assassinate somebody, being brainwashed to do so.
