Can't decied which Kamen Rider to watch

I've been meaning to start watching Kamen Rider for awhile, but I cant decided which one to watch. They all seem so interesting I can't choose :disappoin
Which series would be the best for a new comer, like me, to watch?

Well, what kind of Kamen Rider would you like?

Kuuga and Double are both good starting points for the new generation, OOOs is...harmless enough...

Kamen Rider Black is a fantastic show, as long as you realize the limitations for the time (Namely how most every show from the era was formula) and can appreciate how it ISN'T as formula as others like it....


Kamen Rider V3 is a boss show of awesomeness.

Kamen Rider Stronger and X are both a lot of fun, though neither of them are fully subbed...


So yeah.

If you're wanting New School, Kuuga or Double.

Old school, Black or V3.

In general...any of the four.

Others may disagree, but personally, I think W/Double might be a good show to start with. Not too many characters, good characterizations, overarching storyline (at least that's what becomes evident after a bit), low amount of special effects failures, etc. Oh, and ass-kicking soundtrack. :v

If I was you, I would choose the latest one (W/Double or OOO) and work my way down.

If you're willing to bear down and watch meh CGI, go for Kuuga. If not then Double or OOO.

I say OOO, just because it's the current season. Or watch both haha.

W. Then OOO.
..Then Blade.

Then whatever you want.
Except Faiz. Faiz sucks.

Kuuga, Agito or Ryuki

If not them, then Faiz or Blade.

Well, I'd advise against seeing Agito first, if only because it's something of a direct sequel to Kuuga, so some things wouldn't make a lot of sense.


But really, what do YOU want to see in a Rider series.

This question comes up so often, I want to make a guide.

I'd say try a couple of episode 1's, see which one interests you the most, and go with that. You can then go back and check out the others, because there's a lot to look forward to. Every Rider series is worth watching at least once.
