Calling all Super Fans!

I have no problem with the people they picked. It's not like *I* have any claim to such title, heck most of you probably can't pick me out of a lineup. Well, besides MS who is apparently infatuated with me for some reason :laugh:

It's not like they could pick everybody who set up a message board or has some sort of review stuff,or spend time to analyze who was the most 'WORTHY' of the title. They just went with what they got from view count and history.

HJU *is* generally perceived as being more of a Kamen Rider fan board than the general forum of GREAT JUSTICE that we are, so it's excusable they might have missed us with their Google-fu.

*shrugs* the importane is that Keith doesn't give up and just keeps building contacts.

Oh that's a bad miss. Just limiting themselves to 'just' Power Rangers while they had others as well. Like Digimon, Beetleborgs, VR Troopers, TMNT: The Next Mutation, and who can forget: Masked Rider. While Power Rangers was their best selling points, they shouldn't had forget the other shows they had done.

God I miss Beetleborgs and Mystic Knights of Tir Na nog...

They need to pick up the Kabuto footage and make a new Beetleborg series out of it dangit!

Maybe a better route would be a thoughful terise on the series and it's tropes and pitfalls than a profanity laced lambbasting.

You definitely earned........just like I said in my posts and even now DarkBlaze just stated, realize the jealously & envy you might encounter in your near future because of this new little project.

my comment is mostly from the standpoint of "hey guys what about me i have been here in the corner almost as long as the rest of you but you still forget i was even here". Sure i don't do Convention Panels or able to go to the Conventions that matter thanks to bad household income issues. But i have been here not running and hidden for 13 years. 10 Years with SuperSentai.com, 8 years with RangerCentral.com. I have worked on or helped alot of sites in the webdom that don't need to be mentioned. So to be included in something is huge for me.

Okay, maybe I'm missing something here, but what exactly is the perk of being recognized that you're a "Super Fan?" Do you get a plaque with your name on it? Will girls now just flock to your residence and demand to have sex with you? Are you now going to have a staring role in the next PR series? Or is it just you get the press release info a few days or a week before everyone else? Because fi you're not going on company payroll at Saban, why would there be jealousy to those people picked? I guess I just don't see why someone would be pissed that someone got picked to be a "Super Fan" and they didn't.

Congrats to those who did get picked I guess, but I'm not going to lose any sleep over it.

Probably you´re right and it´s just the press release thing.
But I don`t know why someone should be jealous or pissed aboiut it either. But i think some of them take the "superfans" part of the "Power Force" title too serious.

I am definitely proud of this thread that people have noticed about the quality of news on the front page, I am extremely diligent in making sure that everything is correct and translating articles. I will totally put my hands up and say I do the odd few typos here and there, this usually occurs on Sunday morning :laugh:

All those guys deserve to be picked, it'd be horrible if the people who were picked were bad choices, but thankfully we're not in that situation.

I think they're kind of a selected fan mailing list, likely. These people picked with the intention of getting like.. press releases and news and stuff to release to the fandom.
