Bullies are a cowardly lot...

I am still bullied I suppose. But it isn't so much insults or physical abuse, they just do stuff that I just find to be irritating. Like yelling in my ears when I'm listening to music (I guess they're too stupid to realize that I CAN hear them over my music), messing around with my stuff, or throwing bits of paper or paperclips at the back of my head.

It's really not that bad, but it's still kind of annoying.

It sounds like they're just walking all over you, might wanna politely let them know that they're annoying you.

I have let them know before, but all they really do is try to pin the blame on other people. The thing is that most of the time, I already know exactly who did it, but, they're all under the impression that I'm some sort of idiot.

At this point, I'm just tired of their BS excuses because that is what annoys me more than their juvenile acts. Their inability to man up and take the responsibility of their actions.

In that case it sounds like they're thinking you're being a party pooper by ruining their manchild fun. If you've let them known this seriously bugs you on multiple occasion then its best to just ignore them (this may be hard for some though) and find less annoying people to spend your time with.

I was always bullied back in kindergarten and elementary school, that's why many people thought I was an anti-social when I entered high school.
I started opening up because of the friends I've made back in high school.

I sometimes get ripped off and picked on through words. But when that happens, I just smile and brush it off and go on with life.

That's what I've never understood about bullies.... Why do they do what they do? Does it make them feel more superior to others? Did they get bullied themselves or something bad happened to them and they feel the only way to get their anger out is to take it out on others?

In the end, Karma will bite them seriously in the ass and they'll end up getting what they deserve and they'll only have themselves to blame for their actions...

[I do confess I wished I'd have Rider Kicked their asses except a) I don't know how to do a Rider Kick  and b) I wouldn't want to sink to the level of the bullies...

UPDATE: I finally decided to take firm action against the bullies who were harassing me yesterday and I've reported them to the DWP [the agency that deals with Social Security in the UK] and the representative interviewed me about what happened and he's said that he's going to interview them.

Considering there's quite a few people in the building that are willing to testify about what happened, I've a feeling they'll either be on their best behavior from now on or if they pull this sort of crap again, I'll be down on the fuckers like a ton of bricks and report them so that they get kicked off the course all together.

It was bad enough that I was bullied at school but I'm definitely not going to let these bastards take out their problems on me!>:(

On a happier note, I have a interview tomorrow at Liverpool University for a pre-university course starting in a couple of weeks so at least I won't see those losers for a day!:)

That's what I've never understood about bullies.... Why do they do what they do?

Most people who resort to bullying tend to have horrible home lives or generally suffer from feeling weak and not in control of a situation. The bullying is a way to make themselves feel strong and more confident.

It only really works if they pick targets who remain "low cost"-- who don't fight back or make trouble for them. Once their bullying has any sort of serious negative repercussions they back off, their confidence drops into the toilet... and they start looking for other targets.

The saddest thing about your average bully is that s/he's probably had a rough enough life that they don't know of any better ways to make themselves feel better.

I had this one kid who wouldn't get off my back ,even after he got suspended for it on multiple occasions for it, so I dunno.
