MMA is a mixed bag and it's also very individual. There are times when a fight will just be killer and both guys will absolutely tear it up with strikes, grappling, submissions, ring control, the whole deal, and it's really a beautiful thing, but there's also those fights that don't go anywhere and end up being two sweaty guys rolling around on the ground for fifteen minutes. It's like anything else really. I like pro wrestling because even though it gets a bad rap sometimes for being "fake" (so is your favorite movie), there is a lot of incredible athleticism and an element of performance art, almost theatrical at times, that goes into a good wrestling match. And I like fight sorts because having fought before in the past myself, I can appreciate the factors that come into play in a good fight. The strategy and execution of techniques in a fighting scenario are nothing to scoff at and the technical aspect is almost unparalleled in the sports world.
