That's the same way I felt about Bale as Batman (not wayne mind you, the bat) he was trying too hard. It didnt work.

Amen Dami. Bale was pretty good as Wayne, but I still don't understand why people seem to think he's the end-all of Batmen, when Keaton is still obviously the best. I haven't seen this new Blade series nor do I have any interest too, but I could tell from just the promos that it was going to be the same with this new guy; trying too hard.

Adam West is a better Batman than Keaton. He sucks at seriousness, but at least he was entertaining.

Nah, Keaton was the perfect Batman aside from a couple goofy faces. Bale had the charisma as Bruce Wayne but absolutely no personality or style as Batman, which is probably the most important part of the equation. He couldn't handle the lines or delivery right, he looked awkward in the costume, and I'm still mad that the second half of that movie sucked so bad.

Yeah, I always thought Michael Keaton was the franchise's best actor at the time.

But like I once said--everyone knows the best Batman is Kevin Conroy.

I agree completely. I actually didnt like Batman Begins that much. I mean I was just royally ticked that Scarecrow got owned by a bitch with a tazer. And that the "scare vision" was horribly cheap and stupid.

But yeah Bale's batman voice sucked. Sometimes it was ok but towards the end you could tell he was trying too hard on the voice. It just sounded stupid.
