Doubt it if it's a prequel. A sequel... maybe, though Scott states in a interview that Deckard is a Replicant. So I dunno how that would work since I don't think they grow old. Besides, they have a limited life span on top of it all.

Unless they are planning to cgi him to look younger or as young as he did back then and have a body double, like what Disney did in Tron Legacy. Kept the facial performance and just put it onto another guy's body.

The producers said they doubt Ford will be back. Michael Fassbender gets my vote if its turns out to be a prequel.
