Beyonce wants to be Wonder Woman?

[Ragna "D" BloodEdge]

Diana's not a goddess, Keith. Although she was the Goddess of Truth briefly during John Byrne's run on the book.

Don't forget about Battalion, from Stormwatch. Dude is not to be messed with.

Dude, you're a Stormwatch fan? Killer!

[Keith Justice]

Still saying guys... goddess or no.... so long as the core of what people love about her is there, then it would be fine.

And Stormwatch... ****, yo. I was down with them........................ to the bitter end.

[Ragna "D" BloodEdge]

Yeah, the original series nosedived after the whole deal that led up to #25 was done with. Damn shame, too.

[Bolt]

But if it's done right... I'm telling you, nobody would care what her nationalitiy is.

Kind of like how no one would care what the ethnicity of an American President is?

Stacked hotness trumps race-based ignorance.

... or at least in my world it does.

Well, you can't just stay home if you don't like the President's policies.

I wouldn't necessarily mind a black Wonder Woman. I can see some outcry over that, but let's see what happens.

As for that black Wonder Woman being Beyonce...singers usually shouldn't try to be actors. I don't think she's any different.

this cute korean chick wants to be wonder woman too...

we all know what happened the last time they made a DC character black...

Although, it has worked for Marvel.

Twice in fact?

Great friggin Rao, making the character black was the absolute LEAST of that movie's problems.

There's one Darwyn Cooke drawing of Selina Kyle that makes me think of Haley actually so I can't help but think that if they had simply had her as Selina Kyle/Catwoman in a Batman movie and the script wasn't a total shitpile like this one was maybe that could have worked. Something else I'm reminded of is her performance in Die Another Day where the character had a certain Selina-esque quality IMO.
