The suit just has a very nice and complimentary design for Natsumi

Skull was my 2nd choice. But I went with the Hibiki Riders. I hated the series but Kabuki was just excellent. I love it when a Rider is a double crossing asshole.

Eh, assholes are a dime a dozen in modern entertainment and in Heisei Kamen Rider. It would have been so easy for them to go that route with Skull but I am so glad they didn't.

Skull ALMOST won, but New Den-O just barely beats him out by virtue of being a complete character and not someone who's coolness is mostly just implied by the story. (What's implied is pretty damn awesome but...)

Hibiki's riders are such pleasing suits to look at. Kabuki's design was very cool, as was Habataki, Kirameki and Nishiki's. Touki was nice, didn't like his weapon.

Psyga and Orga: Orga was bulky, Psyga was much too cool.

New Den-O: Kotaro is a great character.

G4: The Unknown Killing machine. Great design, the Steel Gray suit was nice.

Skull: A completely hard-boiled guy that fights for justice and just because he's so damn cool.

I'm gonna go with the Hibiki Riders, because I liked that movie the best. G4 comes in second place.

Skull would be first if they answer all the questions that Begin's Night brought up at the end of Double ,like " How did Sokichi get the Lost Driver and Skull Memory " or " Why did Shroud say that it wasn't her first time there when she was talking to Phillip ".
That movie brought up many questions....

Eh, assholes are a dime a dozen in modern entertainment and in Heisei Kamen Rider. It would have been so easy for them to go that route with Skull but I am so glad they didn't.

I feel like Begins Night did kinda cop out by having the stuff with impostor Skull just to still have the asshole Rider/Rider VS Rider trope. But real Skull, as seen in the flashbacks? Pretty cool -- Kikkawa did a surprisingly good job. (I had hoped a tokusatsu veteran would have played the part, someone like Daisuke Shima.)

I feel like every other movie Rider is too much of an asshole or just really insignificant. Skull I liked.

I got more of the sense that the deal there was for the movie since it talks about the origin of the series they needed a Dopant that could do something that would really mess with Shotaro's head. Something that would have more of a dramatic impact than the average Dopant you would see in an episode of the series.

Though I'm sure the fact that it does result in a bit of Rider vs. Rider helped get it over with the bean counters.
