Best and Worst of 2006

Not sure if it's too early to make this thread but..

Anyway, in about a week or 2 or so's time will be Christmas, and a week later 2006 will come to an end and 2007 will take over. So, let's talk about the best and worst of 2006. Be it Tokusatsu, general life, anything!!

OK, for me.. (to name a few)

Best
* Kamen Rider Kabuto was a good series (even though I've yet to finish it of as I'm following TV Nihon's subs)
* Gogo Sentai Boukenger was good. A bits of it were a little bit boring though but the majority wasn't that bad. Natsuki was cute!! :anime:
* Having a great time doing my work experience on stock replenishment at WHSmith, and a special Jobfinding school.
* Great time (as usual) at Japanese class.
* Enjoying Choujin Sentai Jetman on Toei DVD (even though I have yet to finish it).
* Been to 3 Parties!! YAAAAAY!!!

Worst
* Endless fighting with other people on the internet. From the guy I'll not bother mentioning his name ever again, to suddenly recently with Michael Joe Red Mask, and some crazy guy on YouTube who I'll not go into further detail..
* People endlessly bitching over Power Rangers vs Super Sentai on YouTube, including stupid Anti-Japanese comments and other nonsense on YouTube such as racist comments, people bitching over which games console is better, etc..
* People endlessly flaming on TV Nihon, yet still relying on them for their fansubs as they're the only Tokusatsu fansubbers around.
* My hard drive being crammed full of stuff that I downloaded off the internet, full episodes that I very rarely watch, MP3s that I rarely listen to, and me not getting round to deleting someo of them because I don't know which ones to delete and which ones I want to keep..

Hopes for the future
* Me and Michael Joe Red Mask to get along (he actually used to be a cool guy).
* GekiRangers, Operation Overdrive and the new Kamen Rider series to be awesome.
* No more Power Rangers vs Super Sentai, or Bruce Kalish vs Doug Sloan flame wars. Get over it everybody!! They're only TV Shows!!
* No more bashing TV Nihon. Infact, no more flaming altogether, hows about that?
* Me to get the rest of the volumes of Jetman.
* Me to hopefully get a job.
* World Peace!! :anime:

* discovering the Kamen Rider series after having only been exposed to PR and a couple of Sentai/Toku shows from the 80's (Chodenshi Bioman & Uchuu Keiji Shaider), which were dubbed, no less.


WORST
* having to deal with Mods on other forums who don't realize that sometimes, people who say/do stupid **** and who do nothing but cause trouble sometimes need to be publicly verbally smacked around to get them to stop pulling the bullshit that they do.

*My another job. Pukey on this crap. I only have to work TWO days and less money. That's all I got so far.

HOPES FOR FUTURE

*Power Rangers Operation Overdrive - I hope the new season better be awesome.
* Kamen Rider Den-O - Hopefully it'll be good one. Kamen Rider Kabuto is absolutely fantastic.
*Gekiranger - HOPEFULLY it'll be MUCH better than boring Boukenger.
*I HOPE TO GET MY OWN CAR!!

+Discovering Toku and HJU :buttrock:
+Doubling and tripling my J-music collection :buttrock:
+Leaving High School and entering college life (which has already proven to be awesome)
+Putting the stress of teenage life behind me
+Discovering my love for music and acquiring my bass guitar

WORST:

-Teenage life (it had more bad moments than good, but I got over em all when I got into college)


And that's about it. Assholes (spammers and flamers included) are a daily occurrence in my life. The best to deal with em is to ignore em all :thumbs:


HOPES:

*Getting my license and a car
*Getting better at my guitar playing
*Getting ahead in school
and most importantly...
