I broke my ankle as a kid and couldn't use mint toothpaste because my mother was trying to keep the swelling down with arnica - supposedly, anything minty stops it working. I had to use some herbal stuff instead and it was ****. I'll never again use any toothpaste that isn't minty, even if it tastes like delicious bacon
