Are you able to play games at your work place?

Haha, most bosses are ever like that. They always think when you play a game it shows you are idle.

Yeah, they would be ranting that you aren't doing anything useful in the office, even when it's obvious to them that you have completed your daily task, they still wouldn't be comfortable seeing you having an off time for relaxation. So therefore, I would simply sneak out and game if I must, or better still I endure it, in order to avoid getting into any problems.

We are forbidden calls as well, but only on cases of emergency that we are allowed to answer calls. We made provisions of one phone line that we could be used to reach once it's case of emergency, then we are by all means necessary allowed to answer such calls and have the issue taken care of. Gaming is a practical no go area. Play and have yourself sacked, should you get caught.

That's really bad. We are permitted to answer calls but not allowed to abuse the privilege given to us. If there is no customers to attend to, we are free to call and answer as well. But the moment there is a customer to attend to, they are our first priority and no to phone calls no matter the person calling, unless it's our work related calls.

Haha, maybe 20 years ago I could, but times have changed a lot, so now when I am at work, I am working. With the kids at home I don't have much time either, but I do always find a time slot for gaming.

That's if the kids allow you to play because they can be very demanding most times. And come to think of it, gaming affects them as much as it affects adults. I can remember a friend of mine telling her daughter is always telling him to crash his vehicle whenever he is driving her to school. The reason for that is because she always plays GTA with him crashing vehicles anyhow . Now she wants to do it as well in real life, how funny kids behaves.

Haha, that's true, they love playing more than I do now, so sometimes I do let them play more than me lol. Other times I do play, usually when they are asleep, but it's also rewarding when they ask for my help.

Yes pretty much. If they see us even talking anything personal. We get a lot of scoling. And that means we are only allowed to take the business calls. And they are right though. They paid for the time being spent. So we have to respect the rules.Because it's their place and they are the one paying us.

Yes of course, your gaming experience is far more superior than anything they would ever have played up so far. You are definitely bound to have a lot up your sleeve that they are going to need to master playing as you do. I know sometimes you would brag a little you have played a lot better than them at that their stage .

It's true in all ramifications what you just said. A work place is not a gaming house and so it's supposed to be respected at all cost. I believe that bosses that are mean and uptight against gaming at workplace are only trying to build good working ethics for his employees, which is very good thing to do.

I totally agree with you on this, gaming as much as I know it's a fun thing to do, there must be a limitation as to when and where we are supposed to be gaming, and one's work place is not an appropriate setting for such personal activities. It's called a work place means that is another purpose for being in that zone at that particular point in time and gaming is not part of it. So therefore, one is supposed to take his job more seriously.

True. Every time I can outplay them in a game or section of a game I make a triumph scream and expression lol, but I feel my superiority gaming days are about to come to an end as they grow older.

I play games during break only. The fact it's not allowed in my office to play games. I have been tempted several times to play games when I am less busy but just have to put it aside.
