I like tokusatsu a whole lot more, but I still love anime. I guess the reason so many people don't like anime is because they're mostly just exposed to the shounen genre that's made of stuff like Naruto, Inuyasha, Bleach, DBZ, One Piece, etc. There really is an anime for everyone out there, and if you look outside of the genre of shounen, you'll find some really kickass stuff. I love shows like Galaxy Railways and recommend it to anyone because it's just so different than the "mainstream" stuff.
Or you know, he just has different opinions. If you gave anime a try, you'd probably like it. Try watching Fist of the North Star or the Karas movies. I remember you once said it was just "cartoons running around", well that could be applied to tokusatsu as "guys in crappy suits running around". But we both know that isn't true, it's the same with anime.

Well jeez dude. There's no way we know that you're not just listing stuff off. And there's definitely no way to take an antagonistic attitude all of a sudden. You didn't catch the slight bit of humor in FK's comments?
Back onto anime. It's all a matter of taste, I guess. I honestly believe that there's no anime out there I'll enjoy as much as I enjoy toku.

Probably for you, since you seem to like fighting and the story isn't half bad either. Though if I were you, I'd start off with the Karas movies since they blend tokusatsu and anime so well.

I don't think he'd talk **** about what he's watched. I respect that fact.
But yeah, most don't get my humour at ALL... It's sp3chul.
But I still stand by Tokusatsu over Anime.

I've recommended that one to you, too. I'm not much of an anime fan, but it's one of the few anime shows I like.
The original '84 series, too. None of that "Shin Hokuto" or remake stuff.
