I keep thinking that his powers fading will be temporary. It'll probably decline completely, but shoot right back up, and even probably be stronger than before....maybe. Hopefully.....Hopefully.

Problem solved, but yeah, the recent episode was strange because I feel like it could have been an ending episode. As in a series finale episode. Here's hoping they can make a fantastic ending to this series.

Being a Hero runs in the family huh. I wonder if Kotetsu actually can get himself to quit.

I think Koutetsu is already made his decision to stop being hero. After this visit and the incident with Kaede, he remembered the promise he made with Tomoe, to become a hero for Kaede. He realized now that he can do that without his NEXT power, after all every fathers has power to become a hero for their own daughter. And remember when he talked to Barnaby, he said that his dream is to make Kaede impressed of him. He's one step closer fulfilling that dream by stop being a hero and live together with Kaede.

I think the drama will be how Barnaby, Karina, and other Heroes react to Koutetsu's sudden decision. Before we saw Koutetsu approached them and solving their problem, so perhaps this time it's their turn now to try their own way to make him stay as hero, or at least finding the reason why Koutetsu wants to stop being a hero (I got the feeling Barnaby will accidentally read Koutetsu's note about his declining power) and help him.

Plot-wise though, my money is still on Kotetsu torn between being a father or defeating Lunatic, then when those androids appear, Lunatic and the other heroes will be forced to team-up or something.

Well, there's also chance that Koutetsu gains new power. We don't know yet about how two-power Next like Jake gains their two power, whether they gain it together once they awaken their power(s) or it could be they lose the one they have temporary but then they recover it back along with new power.

Plus I still have the feeling that something will happen involving Maverick. He's too shady, and somehow have mysterious, villain-ish aura. At first I thought he's Mr Legend but as we know now, he's not. Some people on other forum have theory that Maverick is the one behind the assault of Barnaby's parent so he can take custody of Barnaby and he modified Barnaby's memories with that sleep machine. Because the figure of the man killed Barnaby's parent is different from when time to time. Plus Jake doesn't have Ouroboros tattoo on his arm, so perhaps Jake, even though he's Ouroboros, wasn't the one who killed Barnaby's parent.

With 7 or so episodes remain, they must have more twist up on their sleeves:anime:
