Animated Toku?

Gatchaman's so good, Jetman was a homage to it. I remember watching Eagle Riders, one of the Gatchaman dubs, when Fox Kids launched in 1996. But I hear Battle of the Planets was a better dub. Haven't seen it to judge for myself though. :)

I vaguely recall watching G-force on Toonami and owning one of the Top-Cow mini series comics

Also, the same people that did the TMNT and Astroboy CG movies are going to do one for Gatchaman that's going to be released and distributed by Warner Bros. thankfully

OH MY GOD!! I can't believe no one mentioned Android Kikaider yet!! If Anything, go and watch Android Kikaider first!! One of my favorite anime shows that's related to Toku!!

There's an UltraMan animated series, simply titled "The UltraMan", that was on screen in 1979. The main character is UltraMan Jonias, and he comes from U40 instead of the usual M78.
This is Jonias.

The series itself aint bad; there are 50 eps, and I watched it RAW -AFAIK there's no subbed version for it. I suggest you to give it a chance.

Pretty much any magical girl.

Though PreCure is definitely a great franchise for toku enthusiats considering the girls have to physically throw down with monsters.

Yep many toku references there. Especially Cure Black's voice actress.:)

Can Shinzo Ningen Casshern can be considered as animated toku?

not to mention Voltron/GoLion, one of the first anime with a combing mecha

Well, except for Getta Robo, Getta Robo G, Baratack, Combattler V, Voltes V... and quite a bit more.

Though, to stay on topic, you might be interested in checking out the last two I mentioned to see where a lot of early Sentai mecha got their designs and basic functionality from.
