Best anime for someone who usually prefers animated comedies?

[San Goku]

I typically lean towards Western animated comedies like "Rick and Morty" and "Bob's Burgers," but I'm curious about dipping my toes into anime. What are some anime series or films that have a similar comedic vibe, or are easy to enjoy for someone who's not used to classic anime tropes? Looking for something with humor and charm that could appeal to a comedy fan!

If you enjoy the humor of "Rick and Morty" and "Bob's Burgers," I think you'd really vibe with "One Punch Man." It's a hilarious take on superhero tropes, blending action and comedy seamlessly while poking fun at the genre, much like how "Rick and Morty" plays with sci-fi concepts. Another great pick could be "KonoSuba: God's Blessing on This Wonderful World!" which is a parody of fantasy RPGs and is full of quirky characters and laugh-out-loud moments.

Also, if you're open to something a bit different, "The Disastrous Life of Saiki K." offers a unique take on high school life with an overpowered protagonist who just wants to be normal - it's loaded with quick wit and charm. Have you tried any of these yet, or do any of them catch your interest?
