Animaniacs & Gargoyles

I own all of Pinky and the Brain. Animaniacs is kind of hit and miss for me, honestly. :disappoin

I could never stand Buttons and Mindy or Katie Kaboom, for instance. Though the Goodfeathers and PatB more than made up for it. Not to mention the Warner Sibs, of course.

The Goodfeathers & Slappy Squirrel are my favs next to the Warners.

I've been marathoning both shows this week and LOVE THEM.

Gargoyles - I never realised how much of a serious show this was. I also believe Goliath's VA also did PRLR's Diabolico.

Animanics - These 3 crack me up. This needs to be re-aired for future generations of children.

Animaniacs:

Four episodes stand out from the series...

Yakko's World (Yakko's sings about countries)

Wakko's America (Wakko's sings about states and their capitals)

The Warners and the Beanstalk (Green Eggs and Ham with Godzilla and Rodan)

...and last but not least...

Super Strong Warner Siblings (aka Kids WB flips off Fox Kids, aka Warner Bros sticking it to Saban, aka the Ironic Episode because the Red/Blue/Yellow Three Member team was started by Disney).

Gargoyles: A rare, serious animated drama from...Disney...featuring the majority of the cast from Star Trek TNG.

Animaniacs is hilarious. Over a decade later & I STILL can't get that damn "Nations of the World" song outta my head....

Gargoyles is absolutely amazing. Well, the first two seasons anyway- "The Goliath Chronicles" is a steaming pile of ass.

There's a spin-off comic saga based on Gargoyles out now; I strongly recommend checking it out.

I think the comic is actually a direct continuation of season 2 from the original writer, so if anyone wants to finish the story (season 3 doesn't count), they should definitely look into it.

You're right; spinoff is really the wrong word.

And there's actually two comics- the regualr Gargoyles publication and "Bad Guys" which follows the antics of some lesser characters.

I haven't watched Gargoyles in a very long time, but sometimes I randomly start looking up Animaniacs shorts on YouTube. Everyone on that show cracks me up
