...aka "Blair Witch with Cryptids" or "Poor Man's Cloverfield"
...so out of curiousity, I decided to watch this series ever since it debuted early this month. And after four episodes, this series is too funny. There are just too many quips from Blair Witch and Cloverfield that you just can't take it seriously (...in a SciFi Original Movie sort of way...you know, they try to be overly dramatic and the only thing the viewer can do is laugh at it).
It's an interesting watch, but stuff like In Search Of, Ripleys, and Sightings kind of set the bar in terms of paranormal dramatization/docufiction/docudrama/mockumentary while Blair and Clover further enhanced it. However, the show has taught the viewer the following...
* El Chupacabara loves to eat Mexicans, especially "Border Jumpers"
* Big Foot hates poachers. Go figure.
* Big Foot's cousin, the Tainted Keitre/Swamp Monster of Honey Island, lays eggs. :sly:
* Sea Monsters and Lake Monsters share the same taste...in food...girls in bikinis...LIKE WE HAVEN'T SEEN THAT BEFORE!!!:loltongue:
Now if Toho did something similar involving their daikaiju...I would watch that in a heart beat.
