Eh, his run can't be any worse than Morrison's is going right now in shitting all over Batman and most of the other Bats-linked characters in RIP, and the entire DC continuity in Final Crisis. So be grateful All Star is relatively self contained if you don't like it.

Morrison isnt shitting on anything. If anything, he's enriched the Batman continuity and made the silver age aspects fit within Bruce's dementia as well as fit other aspects of the Silver Age within the whole DC Universe. I havent read Batman in years before he returned, and now it's whooping Marvel's "Whoope-de doo, Skrulls again" crap single-handidly.

Final Crisis puts Infinite Crisis to shame and is doing things I wanted to see in DC for years

DC sure as heck isnt perfect though (thankyou James Robinson for fucking up Superman, you make Loeb's Marvel work look like a Whedon run, and it's a shame Donner's film schedule delayed every idea he had for "Action"), I'm pissed off that Catwoman was cancelled, the R.I.P tie-ins are incredible weak, Dixon's departure has shaken up the core Batman family titles, I'm not thrilled that the Lanterns are being shoved down our throats again with "In Blackest Knight", I'm MAJORLY pissed off Barry Allen is back from the dead, but hey, so long as a good story is being told where I can find it, the cons dont matter much these days...especially since the "big two" just look pedanticly behind-the-times and Didio is a one-trick pony

Indeed. His run on Runaways was astonishingly bad- I'd read through seven volumes of the series, all good and interesting, then he comes along and fucks it up royally- characters acting badly, a forced cameo and self indulgence just like his other work. Not quite as bad as the Buffy and Angel comics but a huge letdown for Runaways. Fortunately the new writer has already turned it around back to the right direction after just one issue.

There's no need to "fit silver age aspects in". This isn't the silver age any more. Do something new and refreshing for once. No comment on the Secret Invasion thing, I'm sure it's just as bad.
Final Crisis is doing things you've wanted to see for years? Doing... What? Darkseid being evil, Wonder Woman being put out of the way so he doesn't have to deal with her for now, killing off a great character? The tie-ins for Final Crisis- Requiem, Rogues' Revenge, etc, have all been better than the core title.

I hate Frank Miller because he hates Superman.

"The Dark Knight Returns" and "The Dark Knight Strikes Again" are both terrible. It's so painful to see his drawing. Absolutely terrible.

Also, I enjoyed reading "Batman Year One".
