AFTER WATCHING HIBIKI

lol lot of people been doing these threads. out of the 19 seasons (cant judge double yet just came out) id give it 7th place. i really like this season.

Miyuki kanbe as hinaka-being a huge sailor moon fan (she was sailor moon in the musicals) ive seen alot of her so it was fun to see her happiness else where. squealing at all her little moments lol

todoroki-how you can not love the guy. one of my fav riders and so cute. i loved his romance with miyuki. so funny and fun rider

akira-i almost hated her at first. you get a bad first impression on her but she really turns into a loveable character and she actually talk backed to kiriya.

KIRIYA-good lord. i think ever few seasons theres a character you hate. houjo from agito, kusaka from faiz. but you sorta love to hate them. but kiriya i just could not stannnnnnd. litterally he brought everyone down. asumu should have slapped him. just hateddddd him. i wasnt too happy his actor popped again in den-o. made me think to much of kiriya lol.

less use danki sabaki eiki shuki. the main 4 riders we saw quite a bit but these 4 were much more rare. espcailly eiki and danki. would have liked to seen more of those.

overall its a fun series. THE FACT that the series doesnt give you 10000 questions each episode is nice. like looking at previous seasons agito ryuki faiz blade i mean its one thing after the other. hibiki was more lax and jsut played out. it didnt toy with us. hibki was more a mellow show which is what i really liked about it. 8 riders plus 5 in the movie i thought they were all great. i mean i had bad imrpessions of the series (i mean come on, rider plus trumpet???? but it actually works out and is way better than youd think.

and FINALLY VILLIANESSES. Kamen RIder over the year has had lots of villian guys but not many villianesses. Super Hime and The Woman were both cool. 2 vilianesses in one show thats awesome plus one of the 2 main leaders of makamou( The Real Woman and The Real Man) was The Real Woman so first big leader to be a girl too. plus a heavy female cast. another nice thing about the show lol

So for those that are newer rider fans, or for some odd reason skipped over it you should check out this season. its not the best best but its still really good and wayyyyyyyyy better than i expected. :thumbs:

I really enjoyed Hibiki it's just a shame that it suddenly ended after 29 episodes.

agito didnt leave me questions, liek they were eventually answered

what i meant was instead of hvaing a 1000000 questions about the pasts of characters and what theyre up too and just cliffhnagers every episode. like hibiki was more mellow. it just sorta played out. pretty much everything was explained off that bat and it just sorta played out.

and for all the changes reallly other than kiriya i think it stayed true to what they set up. its a fun season and easy to get into. its not as complex as the others.

You preferred Kusaka over Kiriya? Kusaka was an obsessed ass who barely changed despite his moments with Mari. I did appreciate his actor for making me hate him but he still wasn't a likable Rider.

Kiriya had more of a reason to be an ass, he was mostly an asshole to cover up his own insecuritites especially his envy for his hero father. We do see him fail at other stuff when he joins Hibiki's Oni training and he becomes less of an ass because of this. Preferred him being an Oni than Asuma.

Kusaka is the ultimate oxymoron for everything that a secondary/rogue Kamen Rider is suppose to represent. Kusaka is technically a good guy just for the mere fact that he has the same hate/dislike for the enemies that Takumi and the gang are fighting against. At the same time, he takes the "rogue" title to the NEXT LEVEL.......which is beyond the lines of a "rogue/neutral" affiliation to the point where you might even think he's the second coming of Kamen Rider Ouja, who is more the actual "evil" Kamen Rider.

Kusaka is a secondary Rider that fights for the sake of good and justice, but he clearly has very VERY evil intentions in mind.

Essentially he's Kiva's Nago. Still doesn't change that, unlike Nago, he never changed that sense of morality or thought outside of it. For the entire series he's obssessed with two things: Killing Orphanochs and making Mari his girl, which he still attempts forcefully even after his denial. It's similar to Ohja's development and it made me dislike him the entire series, dunno if that was their angle.
