About the Evolien in abaranger

Anyone else has the feeling that the Evolien are the nicest group of main villains in Super sentai?
Of course, Dezumozorya is evil incarnate, and they have destroyed Dino-earth, but during the most part of the series run, who are the Evolien villains?
- Lije: a cute girl, who, unlike Tran in Jetman, has a cute and nice behaviour with the people around her, and her main character development is her crush on Mikoto Nakadai
- Mikela and Voffa: evil artists, but much more artists than evil: they care more that their creations is artistically beautiful (in their eyes (Mikela) or ears (Voffa), than the chaos they will cause ; besides, in their spotlight episode (episode 24), they are polite, curious, and you feel that the heroes are bullying them. Besides they hate fighting, and seem to have fun with the school girls.
- Jannu: the sole warrior (after episode 2): of couse, she is threatening, but first, her main target is Asuka, not the others, then she has a tragic storyline, and you understand that she is a victim, and whenever Lije's good ghost alter ego appears, she is unable to do evil anymore; besides, after Abarekiller's appearance, she doesn't do much anymore, except episode 32.

Besides their interaction is family-like.
Moreover, the monsters of the week look much more ridiculous than threatening.
I think that was intentional, in order to have Abarekiller look like the awesome villain he is all the more.
Even the Bowzock in Carranger, which is a parody series, seem nastier (except Zonnette of course)

Your thoughts?

the above comment made me lol, but Abaranger is my favorite sentai, and Abarekiller definetly gave them the badassness they needed

The Gaiark seminars aren't really part of the story; but I agree that they are strong challengers in the "who is the nicest villain group of Super sentai" contest.

I think Gaiark were supposed to be sympathetic. I thought it was a nice change of pace not to see backstabbing villains. The Gaiark were a team, a family, who appreciated each other, and in the end they really just wanted a world to call their own (why they didn't just conquer Junk World we'll never know... probably because it turns people into Uguts or something?).

The Go-onger were all about combining the power of the human heart and the Engine Souls, meanwhile the Gaiark were at their strongest when combining their powers.

When Yogoshimakuritein came in and started to sacrifice his forces to stay in the fight he marked himself for defeat. Kegaleshia and Kitanedas realized it by the end and gave hints to the Go-onger.

Even with all his ultimate power Yogoshimakuritein essentially stood alone, having cast aside all those loyal to him, and so it was the power of the bond of friendship between humans and Engines that defeated him.

I thought that was a fairly well realized theme there. I mean sure Sentai is always about teamwork but this time it showed even the badguys could be stronger with team work.
