4Kids 'Toonzaki' Anime Streaming

1) This is the first time I've heard about content that was taken out. I'd like to know when that was said, and who said it. And if you're referring to content as in more violent fights, deaths, or something...I still don't see how that would have made the show any better.

2) As I said, even IF content was taken out, the overall direction of the show wasn't all that great in my opinion.

3) The show was trying to be too much of a drama, and it lacked what a kids show is supposed to have...fun.

I see from where you're coming now that I know you didn't know about the change of content, but it's been around here for some time now. Here's one of the interviews with Steve Wang.
It had some dramatic undertones. It was not trying to be a drama. You misinterpreted that. Changing the content will always have an effect on the outcome of the show in general.

Here's a bad example, but it might just work:
Imagine you go to Subway and the person won't let you have 4 ingredients. You don't know which ones, but they are most likely to affect your sandwich. If one is one of the ingredients you want, you'll end up changing your sandwich to one without the ingredient, one with a different one, or you can just get a very different sandwich.

3) The show was trying to be too much of a drama, and it lacked what a kids show is supposed to have...fun.
But remember, Kamen Rider was never a fun series. It was created for that edgy drama. Toei then wanted to give kids a fun campy style show and they created Sentai.

Steve Wang was keeping that going but the wrong channel got ahold of it. I'm sure if Nick or CN had gotten rights, It would have been a different result.

Yawn. I don't care about 4kids anymore. All I want 4kids to burn to its damning hell for what they've done in the past. Thankfully, they're going to bankrupt very soon. Out of picture forever.

The sooner the anime in better place, the less we care about 4kids!

Wow... I have never seen anyone miss the mark so completely as you did on Kamen Rider.

Wrong or not, both shows had a total balance even though KR started earlier than Goranger.

The blurbs for the shows on the home page are hysterical.

Like the Sonic X one saying it's the fastest show on the 'net and how it feels like you watched the half hour show in 24 minutes.

XD Without commercials, it IS 24 minutes!
Oh, 4Kids... There's just something about your people that makes me laugh.

The blurbs are completely awesome like the one for Macross "Before Team Edward vs. Team Jacob, there was Team Lisa vs. Team Minmay, except transforming jets can nuke vampires and werewolves any time."

Seriously, where was this humor during the actual shows?

but that still doesn't dismiss the fact that KRDK had its flaws (a lot of them).

Yeah but so do many other Toku shows in Japan, and heck even other adaptations like Power Rangers in America, but it's getting bought and put back on the air

And who expected it to be perfect on their re-attempt to try and bring Kamen Rider back to the States without furry animals in it :redface2: I mean people are saying the adaptations are either crappy ones pandering to kids or dramas not meant for kids. I mean which one do you want guys? I personally enjoy that they sorta kept a Rider War atmosphere, but it IS a different show. Well, personally I would enjoy a direct Translation more, but it was an interesting show either way.

Also, it seems here that a lot of Power Ranger fans don't like direct Sentai Translations, but then complain that Dragon Knight is different from Ryuki?
