D3 have announced the existence of Earth Defense Force 4 with this teaser site.
There’s not a great deal of information but presumably EDF4 differs from the also recently announced EDF Portable for Vita, which is a port of the Xbox 360’s EDF 2017.
No word on whether the game will make it to the West, or even who is on development duties – hopefully it’s either Sandlot (2017) or Vicious Cycle (Insect Armageddon), though.
Right now, D3 are setting up to launch Earth Defense Force Portable for Vita in September, so we may hear more after that.
