Dark Sky Films will be releasing their latest thriller-chiller, Dark Night, on VOD in approximately one month…and if you live in a lucky city, you’ll get the chance to catch its limited theatrical run.

James and his wife Casey load up their two teenage kids and head out to a remote cabin in Oregon for a weekend trip. When James heads into the snowy forest in search of firewood, he encounters an enigmatic woman passed out in the snow. Bringing her back to the cabin for help, the family has no way of knowing that the woman’s presence is the catalyst for a series of events that will change their lives forever.

Dead Night stars genre icon Barbara Crampton as lead actress, and she also has a producing credit. “This is a Barbara Crampton we’ve never seen before… watching her play quirky, barely-contained evil is a delight,” said the website Birth Movies Death in their advance review.

Starring in the film are Brea Grant, AJ Bowen, Sophie Dalah, Elise Luthman, Joshua Hoffman and Daniel Roebuck. Bradford Baruh served as director, and he and Andy Myers (John Dies At The End) served as producers.

This is the current theater list for Dead Night. Other screenings may be added later:

New York – Cinema Village
Houston, TX – Alamo Drafthouse
Winchester, VA – Alamo Drafthouse
Portland, OR – Clinton St. Theatre
Whichever opportunity presents itself, don’t miss either the theatrical or home debuts of Dead Nigh. The film opens July 27, 2018. Here’s the trailer…
