If Cartoon Justice League Is Reunited, Voice Actress Wants WonderBat Relationship Deepened
The Justice League cartoon that ran for most of 2000-2010 (and beyond in some ways) is considered by many one of the greatest cartoons ever made. It brought the Justice League together in a powerful way, did many powerful stories, and was voiced by an incredible legion (not of doom) of voice actors and actresses that did their roles so well, that many fans consider them the definitive voices for the characters.
One of them is Ms. Susan Eisenberg, who has voiced Wonder Woman not only in the two cartoon series (the main series and Justice League unlimited) but also in various DC Animated films, the Injustice games, and DC Universe Online. Anyway, she helped start a movement to try and get the Justice League back together again, and on Twitter, the movement exploded.
Still, the question remains, if it did come back in some form, what should happen? Well, Ms. Eisenberg noted that for her, one of the important things of the main series is the relationship between Bruce Waye/Batman and Diana/Wonder Woman:
“Well, selfishly, I’d love to explore the relationship between Bruce and Diana a bit more, and I know there are some wonderbat fans out there who feel the same way,” Eisenberg told THR. “But mostly, I would just love to see a story where The League is united in its fight of good vs. evil, with some romance and levity thrown in for good measure!”
So there you go, epic battles and the fulfilling of a romance. Sounds perfectly Justice League.
