Captain America: Civil War Has Wrapped Production
The first film in Marvel’s Phase 3, Captain America: Civil War, has officially finished production, as a tweet from Marvel Studios co-president Louis D’Esposito said:
“#CaptainAmericaCivilWar wrapped principle photography today. Congratulations to the Russo brothers and the entire cast and crew.”
With the movie over, naturally the cast and crew took time to relax and party, as the Imperii Bar happily posted on Facebook:
“Hollywood in Leipzig..
Last night, the Marvel Filmcrew celebrated the end of the shooting in germany for the new “Captain America”..
Thank you for this Party!!

Captain America: Civil War is set to be a game changer for the Marvel Cinematic Universe much like Captain America: The Winter Soldier was in Phase 2. With Captain America going up against Tony Stark, many of the Avengers having to choose sides on who is right and who is wrong, and of course the newest additions to the Marvel Universe like Ant-Man also getting involved? This is going to get very heavy. That’s not even mentioning that Civil War will apparently be the introduction of Spider-Man to the Marvel Cinematic Universe.
Though we probably won’t be getting a trailer anytime soon (most likely we’ll get it early next year), we can still eagerly wait for Captain America: Civil War when it arrives on May 6th, 2016.
