“World Builder” Site WorldAnvil Launches Beta
Have you ever wanted to create a world? For a writing project, or even a gaming project? Well, there’s a new site that has just launched a beta that aims to give you that ability, and then some. Meet, WorldAnvil:
“Worldanvil.com is a new way to create a world bible for your campaign settings or for your next series of novels.
World Anvil allows creators to develop and organize their work with carefully designed templates that will inspire them, and help them to put their thoughts into order. Currently there are more than ten templates, as well as the ability to create timelines to detail the history of your world.
By creating an account and building a world in World Anvil, you need never lose your great ideas. You will always be able to search through your creations by typing 3 letters into a search bar.
Creators are able to either present their world openly to their audience, or keep their worlds as a private notebook or world bible to support the development of stories or campaign settings that they plan to publish.
The Secrets and Notes features allows creators to separate what is visible and by whom. So creators can allow some of their readers to have different levels of access to their work.
The service is currently in beta, but for those interested, you can request a key to try it out. It’s free to do, and you might not want to miss out on this.
