WB And Foot Locker Team Up For Justice League T-Shirts
After Disney and Marvel released The Avengers in 2012, every other studio wanted their own Avengers….but the only competition that owned an equivalent already was Warner Bros. They set a plan in place for a DC Cinematic Universe that would unite for the first time in the world’s first Justice League movie. The film came out in 2017, crashed, and destroyed WB’s hopes of any kind of DC Cinematic Universe. Projects ever since have been all over the place.
Given that the film had two directors, which one is to blame? A lot of fans point the finger at Joss Whedon, who was hired to finish the picture after Zack Snyder was forced to bail due to a personal issue. Fanboys have long held the belief that Snyder’s cut would have been superior, and now in about two weeks we’re about to find out if that’s true.
We can’t confirm if Zack Snyder’s Justice League will be worth the hype or not, but what we CAN say with confidence is that you’ll be able to buy a T-shirt with one of the heroes on it, each one designed by a professional artist. It’s a collaboration between WB and the Foot Locker chain of stores. Starting March 11 one shirt will be available in limited quantities, leading up to the March 18 release of the Snyder cut.
