Vixen Animated Series Getting TV Debut Wednesday
The CW already has an incredible amount of live-action shows, and it’s going to get bigger with Black Lightning during the midseason break. However, they’re also doing animated series via their online service CWSeed, and it all started with Vixen. This show has had two seasons online, but now, via a very special event, it’ll come to the CW itself for a 2-hour broadcast this Wednesday.
That’s right, all 12 episodes of the series will be shown on TV, and it’ll include episodes from the cast and crew that have made this show shine. The shows success has been proven in spades, not just because they’re bringing more animated shows to the site via Constantine and The Ray: Freedom Fighter, but because Vixen herself has been on Arrow (via the actual actress who voices her in the animated series) and via her grandmother who is Vixen in Legends of Tomorrow.
So, if you haven’t gotten a chance to see Vixen yet, here is your chance. It’ll happen at 8/7c on the CW.
