Uncharted 4 Reaches Amazing First Week Sales Mark
The PlayStation Blog has announced some pretty amazing stats for the first week of Uncharted 4: A Thief’s End. The game has already hit some pretty amazing sales mark in just its first week of release. The game launched on PlayStation 4 on May 10. Since that time, the game reached over 2.7 million in global sales as of May 16, 2016. That includes worldwide sell-through data for Blu-ray Disc sell-thru quantities and digital sales as of that date.
It seems despite the delays, Naughty Dog was able to deliver a satisfying and special gameplay experience with Uncharted 4. The game has received overall fantastic reviews from critics and a tremendous response from the overall game community.
In addition, Sony PlayStation said that in North America, Uncharted 4 is the fasted-selling PlayStation 4 first party title to-date. That’s also good news, as this was the game many were waiting for with the PlayStation 4. Some games never even reach a million units in sales in the life of the game. However, the latest sequel in the Uncharted franchise was able to hit that mark in in just seven days.
If this is to be Naughty Dog’s final Uncharted game, it appears the franchise is going out on a very high note. Uncharted 4: A Thief’s End is available now.
