The Last of Us Has Been Moved Up To Friday, Just This Once
HBO’s The Last of Us is a phenomenal show, but you likely already knew that. if you’re not watching it yourself, you know numerous people who constantly tell you how good it is. And if you don’t have that, you at least have me to pester you. WATCH THE LAST OF US, DUDE.
The show has pulled in some impressive numbers for HBO, which is even more amazing when you consider the competition. Thanks to showing up in January and running on Sundays, the series has had to compete with the Oscars, the Grammys, and now the Super Bowl. This time, however, HBO has blinked. Though the episode will air in its usual timeslot on Sunday at 6 PM Pacific / 9 PM Eastern, it will actually be available much earlier.
Episode 5 of The Last Of Us will show up on-demand this Friday, February 10, at 6 Pacific / 9 Eastern, two days removed from the big game. Since on-demand is the way most of us watch it, this is something you’ll need to know, else you boot up social media Saturday morning and get blasted with spoilers. Remember: FRIDAY EVENING!
The Last of Us stars Pedro Pascal as Joel, Bella Ramsey as Ellie, Gabriel Luna as Tommy, Anna Torv as Tess, Nico Parker as Sarah, Murray Bartlett as Frank, Nick Offerman as Bill, Melanie Lynskey as Kathleen, Storm Reid as Riley, Merle Dandridge as Marlene, Jeffrey Pierce as Perry, Lamar Johnson as Henry, Keivonn Woodard as Sam, Graham Greene as Marlon, and Elaine Miles as Florence. Ashley Johnson and Troy Baker, who voiced Joel and Ellie in the game, are also in the show somewhere, but we haven’t seen them yet.
