Tekken 7 Gets New Character, Jin Also Returning
Tekken 7 has been revealing its cast of fighting characters for the upcoming game that will be released to us this year (hopefully) on the Xbox One and PS4.
During a recent livestream, three more characters were confirmed to be on the roster. One of which is a brand new character, while the other two are very familiar faces.
First up is Josie Rizal, a kickboxer from the Philippines, who just so happens to be designed by Bayonetta artist Mari Shimazaki. She was also heavily influenced by Mad Catz rep Mark Julio. Her style is pretty physical (indicating she’ll be a good fit for the game), using a variety of punches and kicks to ensure lots of damage. Check out her character reveal trailer below!
Then, a double treat for Tekken fans! Series staple (and pretty much the face of the franchise) Jin has returned! Jin Kazama sports a very epic hoodie this go round, and has many of his signature moves. However, he also has some new techniques as well to keep things fresh.
But as many Tekken fans know, Jin has a VERY big dark side, one that manifests and creates Devil Jin! And yes, he is in the game too! Much like Jin himself, he has a balance of familiar moves, along with some new moves to shake things up. Check out his trailer as well.
