The Hunger Games: The Ballad of Songs & Snakes is the Prequel to Suzanne Collins‘ hit novel. The novel became a hit trilogy, and it spawned four movies. The Prequel will follow 64 years before Katniss Everdeen volunteered to become a tribute. Francis Lawrence will reprise directing the Prequel after making the first four movies. The Prequel will have the least likely protagonist. President Coriolanus Snow will be the main character. Donald Sutherland originally played him in the film, but a younger actor will play him this time. We will see Snow in his younger years before he got corrupted into a tyrant. Before he was an evil dictator, He was a young student who developed romantic feelings for Hunger Games Tribute Lucy Gray Baird. (Rachel Zegler from The West Side Story) Tom Blyth is going to play the younger and more naive Snow. When the book was first released, There was an outrage from the fans because they couldn’t accept a character as evil as Snow will be the protagonist of the Prequel, but it’s a risk worth taking for
