Finally, A Superman And Lois Trailer With Real Clips

Late last month The CW’s first trailer for Superman and Lois finally appeared…but it barely had Superman OR Lois. What it did have was a lot of foggy clouds surrounding the “S” symbol and a few stoic audio quotes. Forget all that now, because they finally put out a REAL trailer. As we’ve said plenty of times before, Superman and Lois is about the super-couple at a later time in their lives when they’re married with offspring. Those kids were babies the last time we saw them, but the Crisis event in 2019 spread Kryptonian Soap Opera Gamma Rays on them so they’re now teenagers. Jonathan and Jordan are played by Jordan Elsass and Alexander Garfin respectively, and they’ll be developing powers of their own, though we still don’t know if they’ll be exactly like Superman’s or different. Lana Lang is also part of the cast…played this time by Emmanuelle Chriqui, she works as a loan officer in Smallville and she married a fireman named Kyle (Erik Valdez). But here’s

The First Superman And Lois Trailer Arrives On Earth

Next February, Superman will be getting his first live-action TV series since the 90s — and he’ll be sharing top billing with his main squeeze (which is also what happened last time). But unlike ABC’s Lois & Clark, Superman And Lois will focus on the life of a slightly older couple, living in Smallville and raising two boys. Today The CW gave us our first real look at the series in a one-minute trailer. Until now it’s all been press shoots and costume reveals, but now finally we can see some clips — wait, who brought the fog machine? I can only make out stock poses! CURSES! This is the work of Lex, isn’t it?? So yeah, it’s just a bunch of abstract images and symbolic CGI while Supes gives a pretty speech. That’s kind of a letdown. The most it does is gives us a glimpse of what Superman & Lois’s teenage sons look like…they were babies the last time we saw them, but the Crisis event in 2019

Take A Look at The New “Superman & Lois” Super-Suit

When Superman & Lois premieres on The CW next February, Clark Kent impersonator Tyler Hoechlin will be sporting a new set of tights. For reference, this is what Superman looked like on the set of Crisis On Infinite Earths in 2019: And this is what he looks like now: So yeah, nothing radically different has been done. The tights are a lot bumpier and mesh-ier. The cape has been moved a bit back on the shoulder and the build now shows off Superman’s six-pack. That’s about all you can say here, but if you ask Hoechlin, he has a novel prepared… “I find that the new suit is representative of the show,” Hoechlin says. “Just as this suit is unique and set apart from the ones that preceded it, the story we’re telling about Clark/Superman at this point in his life is unique and something we’ve never seen before.
