Trigun Stampede Premieres This Coming Saturday
Crunchyroll’s most anticipated release of the month will make its debut this weekend. Trigun Stampede is a CGI-shaded reimagining of the classic manga and 1990s anime that adapted it. On the planet of No Man’s Land, there’s no gunslinger more dreaded than Vash the Stampede. The bounty on his head is tremendous. So when reporter Meryl Stryfe and her partner look into it, they’re perplexed to meet a nervous goofball who’s also a total pacifist. He is responsible for a lot of damage, but it’s because he’s prone to causing catastrophes wherever he goes. They soon find out, though, that it’s Vash’s estranged twin brother who’s the REAL problem — and if they can’t stop him, he’ll destroy the world. Trigun was first animated in the 1998 series of the same name that ran for 26 episodes. The series premiered in the US on Adult Swim in 2003. Studio Orange, who specializes in CG animation, is bringing the story to life this time. And we’ve got a preview for you!
