XCOM: Enemy Unknown pushed back to 2014
I have been keeping up with the XCOM franchise in the last few years due to having played the original 1990’s game X-COM: UFO Defense. So when I heard 2K was doing a reboot of the franchise, but putting a modern first-person spin on it, I got excited. It just so happens XCOM: Enemy Unknown has been pushed back yet again. Originally scheduled for October, then March, and now they are now looking at a tentative beginning of 2014. That however leads us to wonder what console it’s going to be coming out for. Are they waiting for the next gen systems, or are they going to do one big push to have it out before the PS4 and 720 come out. That’s a risky move especially for a franchise that hardly anyone remembers, I know, I’ve asked. Either way, I’ll wait patiently to play reboots of games I loved when I was a kid.
