The Five Coolest Trailers From The 2022 Game Awards
The Game Awards is turning into more of a trailer show than an awards ceremony, but that’s fine with us. Getting another E3 for Christmas is a nice present. Over 20 trailers premiered for the first time at last night’s event, but here’s the best of what we saw. We’re getting a sequel to the smash-hit action roguelike Hades! This time you play as Melinoë (pronounced Melly-noy), Princess of the Underworld and sister to Zagreus (the guy you played as in the original game). She looks cool as hell (or hades, wherever) in all her gleaming crescent moon-themed battle gear. But her goal won’t be a simple one: It’s to slay Chronos, God of Time, and as someone points out “he is time itself, and time cannot be stopped.” Another game everybody loved is Celeste, and we finally got confirmation of a follow-up from the same indie studio today.
