The Wildest Trailers From Sony’s New State Of Play
Sony broadcasted a new State of Play yesterday. You never know what you’re going to get from these things, but fortunately the January 31 SoP was no dud. Here’s the best of what we saw in those forty minutes…. As one might expect, the trailer for Death Stranding 2 was both VERY long and VERY weird. There’s a bit of body horror at the beginning, so don’t eat a sandwich while watching (like I was). Why do the doctors have hand-shaped face masks that seem to move independently as extra limbs of their own? Heck, why is anything the way it is in Kojima’s wacky world? Maybe the answers will be in the game, and maybe not. You know how it is. But it’s not the only thing Kojima is working on for Sony. He’s returning to the action espionage genre with PHYSINT, a game he promises will “blend” games and movies together. That’s all we know at this point.
