Games With Gold For Xbox One Launched

Games with Gold has officially launched on the Xbox One today, making two titles available for Xbox Live Gold members to download at no cost. The games included are the puzzle platformer Max: The Curse of Brotherhood by Press Play and the top down shooter Halo: Spartan Assault that was first made available for Windows Phones. Both titles can be downloaded immediately from the dashboard. The Xbox 360 games titles available this month are the incredibly difficult action RPG Dark Souls and the side-scrolling beat ‘em up Charlie Murder. As a special deal to celebrate the years anniversary of the program Super Street Fighter IV: Arcade Edition will also be made a free title this month. Dark Souls is available to download now, and the other two games will have their price removed on 16 June. Microsoft Announces June’s Games With Gold Lineup

Microsoft has announced June’s Games With Gold lineup. There will be a total of 5 games available for you to download for free. Also, starting this month, Xbox One owners will be able to download some free games, too. For Xbox 360 gamers, beginning on June 1, you’ll be able to download the critically acclaimed Dark Souls. Later in the month, starting on June 16, you’ll be able to download Charlie Murder and Super Street Fighter IV: Arcade Edition The two Xbox One games will be Halo: Spartan Assault and Max: The Curse of Brotherhood. Microsoft has yet to give a date for both games. As always with Games With Gold, you’ll need to be an Xbox Live Gold member in order to download these games for free. Even if you drop your subscription to Xbox Live, these games will always be yours as long as you download them in the month they are made available.
