Outcast: Second Contact Release Date Announced

Bigben and Appeal Studio have announced the release date for Outcast: Second Contact, the remake of the cult PC game Outcast, a pioneer in the history of open-world video games. This expanded version in full HD of the 1999 adventure game, highly anticipated by fans of the genre, will be available in March 2017 on PC, PlayStation 4 and Xbox One.

Outcast Looking to Reboot

The 1999 ahead-of-its-time adventure game, Outcast, could be looking to reboot. A recent press release revealed that the founders of the original game’s development studio, Appeal (which went bankrupt during the production of a sequel for the PS2), have grouped together and purchased the rights to the franchise from Atari. A revival is in progress and more news can be expected soon.
