Stranger Things: Eleven Busts Free

Given how imminent the release of Stranger Things Season Two is, this is probably the last advance video clip we’re going to get before the season proper is out. It contains a pretty important plot point, though — Eleven’s escape from the Upside Down. The clip made its premiere at MCM Comic Con London, where it was introduced by Millie Bobby Brown herself.

We caught a glimpse of this at the end of the excellent “Thriller” trailer from earlier this year, but here’s the scene in full. There is a new portal between the Upside Down and the….Right-Side Up that has formed in the walls of Hawkins High School, where we saw Eleven last. Looks like she’s still there and not much time has passed (or your hair doesn’t grow in that dimension).

There’s only one thing keeping her from going home….the portal is too small. Not much of a problem for a telekinetic like Eleven. She simply forces the wall to expand and crumble, increasing the hole’s size, and then messily escapes like a baby from a womb.

But now there’s a big hole to the Upside Down in the middle of the high school. Wonder if this’ll cause any problems in the upcoming season? We won’t have to wait long to find out…..Stranger Things Season Two hits Netflix October 27.
