If you are a Wii U owner, and you haven’t gotten Splatoon yet, you might be missing out on quite a bit. The new IP from Nintendo that continues to sell and entertain gamers has gotten numerous updates since its launch in late May. Each of them are not only free, but add new content for players to enjoy. That includes the new modes like Tower Control, Rain Maker, Private Battles, the two new weapons classes with the Splatling and Slosher items, numerous gear additions, and of course the Splatfests.
Later this week, Nintendo is opening a Splatoon Testfire Summer Camp. Essentially, it’s a week of free play on Splatoon, at specific times of course. All you have to do is download the demo, be there when the camp opens and enjoy. Here are the times for the Summer Camp:
•19:00 – 20:00 on Saturday 22nd
•19:00 – 20:00 on Sunday 23rd
•09:00 – 10:00 on Monday 24th
•09:00 – 10:00 on Tuesday 25th
•15:00 – 16:00 on Wednesday 26th
•15:00 – 16:00 on Thursday 27th
•15:00 – 16:00 on Friday 28th
So, if you have wanted to try Splatoon, but wanted to get a taste of it before trying out for full, this is your chance. The game is now available for the Nintendo Wii U console.
