Chaos Theory Games is no newbie when it comes to the indie scene, having released the acclaimed Crab God back in 2024. It stood as a game that valued both fun and the chance to impact the world, working in tandem with the dots.eco conservation effort. Now they seek to something similar in their upcoming game, Rusthaven.

The game was just recently announced, and seeks to make a similar yet separate impact on the world like Crab God. Rusthaven is all about recovery and hope, of robots seeking to rebuild and thrive in a broken world. It’s a hopeful take on how we can truly live in the future through connecting with one another and forging unbreakable bonds.

A ROBOTIC COMMUNITY IN THE SKY

Taking place in an overgrown post apocalyptic world, you play as a robotic captain of an airship. Finding your old friend Bipp destroyed, you take your airship across the world. As you travel about, you find both old tech and other bots in their own situation, and help them in fixing their problems.

With the game being about hope and second chances, you can befriend and help the broken robots you take on. You can build personalized rooms to house them on the ship as you fix and upgrade them. You fuel this through resources, which are attained as you fly across the world.

As you fix each robot, they will thank you by assisting you in your adventure. This includes upgrading your ship and getting abilities that can help you as you grow closer and closer to them. Your ship goes from being a simple piece of transport, to a veritable village of a close found family trying to help one another for a better future.

  • Robot companions with hobbies, personal arcs, and dreams
  • Chill exploration of a hopeful post-collapse world
  • Tactile salvage and crafting of retro human tech
  • Deep customisation of rooms, ship systems, and decorations

Y’all really bringing up “Misty” like it wasn’t one of the most intense rollercoasters of 2018? I mean, a love story wrapped in murder and legal drama? Talk about a plot twist that had me clutching my pearls! 😱

And can we talk about Kim Nam-gil? That man really knows how to pull off the tortured lawyer vibe. But seriously, watching them navigate their crumbling relationship while trying to clear her name had me on the edge of my seat. It’s like they were playing emotional chess and I was here for every move!

If you haven’t seen it yet, you’re in for a wild ride. Just don’t expect any typical rom-com fluff; this one’s got layers, and they’re all messy! 🍷💔

I find the plot of Misty both intriguing and a bit disheartening. Go Hye-Ran’s actions are quite questionable, but there’s an undeniable complexity in her character. She’s ambitious to the point of being ruthless, yet I can’t help but feel some sympathy for her. Her relationship with Kang Tae-Wook is tragic; they both seem to have given up a lot of personal happiness for their respective careers.

The tension between the two is palpable, and I think that’s what makes the show stand out. It’s not just about a murder mystery; it’s about the messy nature of relationships, ambition, and regret. I really admire how the series doesn’t give simple answers and forces the audience to consider multiple perspectives. It’s a slow burn but well worth watching if you enjoy morally gray characters. The ending especially had me questioning what’s real and what’s manipulation. Highly recommend for those who appreciate character-driven stories.

Misty is a fascinating movie for me, thanks in large part to Go Hye-Ran. She is very ambitious, and while it can be difficult to like her at times, it is evident that she has been formed by the strains of her profession. The way she manipulates situations to maintain power demonstrates how far she is ready to go. I also believe that her relationship with Kang Tae-Wook adds complexity to the program. It's difficult and full with regrets, but their connection still feels genuine. The mystery behind the golfer's death is compelling, and I enjoy how it keeps you guessing. Overall, this is a drama that is not hesitant to depict ethically ambiguous characters.

I think Misty has a lot of potential, but it doesn’t quite live up to it. Go Hye-Ran’s character is so manipulative that it’s hard to feel anything for her. I understand that she’s supposed to be complicated, but her actions just felt too harsh for me to care. The mystery about the murder is interesting, but I wasn’t fully invested in it. What I did enjoy was Kang Tae-Wook’s character. His internal struggle between his duty as a lawyer and his feelings for his wife was the most compelling part for me. That dynamic had me interested enough to keep watching, but overall, I was hoping for more suspense and less character manipulation.

Misty is definitely a show that will make you think. I wasn’t a fan of Go Hye-Ran at first because she’s so self-absorbed, but over time, I started to see her complexity. It’s interesting to watch her struggle with her past decisions and how she manipulates situations to get what she wants. Kang Tae-Wook’s character, on the other hand, is more likable, and his internal conflict is relatable. The murder mystery adds an extra layer of intrigue, but I felt like the show was more about character dynamics than solving the crime. It’s a slower-paced show, but worth the watch.
