Presenting The Steven Universe The Movie Sing-A-Long Event
If you haven’t heard, Cartoon Network’s Steven Universe is wrapping up. The last ten episodes of Steven Universe Future will be airing this month on the channel, and once they all appear, it’ll be the end of the series proper.
As one of the biggest and most influential cartoon shows of the 2010s, with a fanbase that numbers in the millions, Steven deserves a bigger sendoff than being sandwiched in between TTG repeats…don’t you think? That’s why Fathom Events is partnering with CN to produce the Steven Universe The Movie Sing-A-Long Event.
This epic music-filled adventure finds Steven thinking his time defending the Earth is over, but when a new threat comes to Beach City, he faces his biggest challenge yet. The adventure is coming to movie theatres for the first time this spring. “Steven Universe” fans nationwide can join Steven, and his friends, Garnet, Amethyst and Pearl, for a musical night of fun with the “Steven Universe The Movie Sing-A-Long Event!”
If you’ve already seen the movie and you don’t feel like singing, there’s still a reason to attend: the series finale of Steven Universe Future, and Steven’s universe in general, will be making its premiere here before airing on Cartoon Network. That happens after the movie, so…stick around for the credits.
Mark your calendars, because this screening will happen on just one night: March 23. Check the Fathom Events website for a list of participating theaters.
