Mythroll Armory Magnetiles Kickstarter Launches Today
Mythroll Armory has created foldable tin D20 dice that fit in a wallet, customizable “Doodle Dice” that you can write on (with ink that can be removed) and a “Dice Spinner” meant to serve the functions of multiple variants of tabletop dice in one. Having exhausted everything they can do with dice, they’re turning their attention to what the dice typically sit on.
The quality of customized maps in tabletop RPGs depends on how much time the creator has to spend on them. But imagine magnetized fit-together tiles that let you whip up an entire 3-D village map in just a minute or so. Myhtroll is developing just such a product, and the crowdfunding campaign launches today.
Magnetiles stack together into neat piles when not in use. Then they can be pulled apart and placed as the DM desires…pieces for cobblestone roads, wood, dirt, grassy areas, rivers, lakes, even bridges across those rivers and lakes.
For a $50 pledge ($65 Canadian), you can get 45 pieces including 6 stone squares, 6 wood squares, 4 stone triangles and more (an Early Bird pledge, if you can catch it early enough, reduces this price to $36). Higher-tier pledges increase the amount of pieces to 75, 110 or even 225. Get your Magnetiles today by hitting this link…the campaign runs for the next thirty days.
